Unbelievable food and service. Authentic Italian has finally arrived to DTLA. Everything from the pizza to the pasta is handmade. Tastes like 1st generation family italian staples and the vibe and location are one of a kind in the heart of the ...
city. This just skyrocketed to #1. An absolute must go and official go-to. BTW, the cocktails are perfection. I can not say enough great things about this place.

Beautiful newly constructed Italian restaurant in the middle of DTLA. We parked in the parking lot right under the library and the elevator was very close to the entrance to 700. Someone was there to meet us as we walked in and took us to our r...
eserved table right away. I was happy they had vegan options and tried the soup of the day, insalata di farro, and spaghetti al pomodoro e basilico. Exquisite from the cocktails to the design. Excellent addition to DTLA!

WOWWW!!! Where do I start, the location is so prime, right in the heart of dtla, next to the beautiful LA public library, surrounded by beautiful LA buildings. The day time was beautiful and when the sun goes down, the patio becomes magical wit...
h twinkling lights and beautiful scenery. Beautiful unique decor inside, even in the restrooms. The tables are this beautiful marble, you can tell attention to detail on this restaurant is super well thought out and very impressive. I would love to come again to hang out with my friends. Such a beautiful hang out spot.
Now the food, omg so delicious and the price is incredible, especially the lunch menu. The appetizer and entree are very filling and for $25 is so refreshing for the prime beautiful location. Vegan and vegetarian options are easily available and labeled in the menu. The cocktails are delicious specialty cocktails and let me tell you the do NOT skimp out on the alcohol.
The service is so attentive and professional.
Parking is easy at the LA public library parking lot if you don’t find street parking.
My favorites from the menu: Spaghetti alla Chitarra all'Amatriciana (pasta), Funghi & Salsiccia (pizza), Sakurativo (cocktail), Italian Dragon (cocktail) , Prunotto Occhetti, Langhe Nebbiolo, 2021, Piedmont, Italy (red wine), the soup of the day was carrot and it was delicious for the cold weather
I will come back to try new things in the menu. I loved everything I tried.

Lovely restaurant in DTLA! The interior is beautifully decorated and had an intimate vibe. Staff were very attentive and service was great. Shoutout to our waitress Chandra who treated my boyfriend and I so well! Of course, the food was also de...
licious.
Appetizers:
Polpo Grigliato (would recommend): grilled octopus that was so tender and had crispy edges! the green beans, potato, and sauce complemented it very well. I would definitely recommend this.
Carpaccio di Salmone (would recommend): long strips of salmon in a salmon carpaccio that were so good!! I think everyone around me ordered this too
Tagliere di Salumi e Formaggi: the chef’s charcuterie! 3 types of meats and cheeses each and a jam on the side! very yummy and would definitely be enjoyed by any charcuterie lover.
Salad:
Insalata del Settecento (would recommend): was sooo good! my boyfriend and i plowed through this so quickly and we usually don’t eat salads LOL the salad is a bit tangy which i really liked
Entrees:
Gnocchi with Ragu alla Napoletana: red sauce gnocci with 3 different meats in it (i think)! it was very delicious and if you pair it with a pizza, you can eat the leftover sauce on this pasta with the pizza crust!
Funghi & Salsiccia: a mushroom and sausage pizza! delicious and not overly filling, which made it perfect to pair with the pasta in my opinion! i loved the crisp on the crust too
Filet Mignon: my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed this and the meat practically melted in my mouth. the mashed potatoes it came with were also good
Cocktails:
Sakurativo (would recommend): i really liked the bitterness and sweetness in this cocktail! i love yuzu and lemon and it was packed with these flavors. it definitely hid the taste of alcohol more than The Situationship, so if you like cocktails that mask the alcohol then you should definitely go for this! Even my boyfriend got one for himself midway through our meal
The Situationship: another bitter cocktail with hints of pineapple that you can definitely taste! you can taste the alcohol a bit more in this one but the salt rim was also a nice touch. my boyfriend really liked it!
Dessert:
Coppa di Gelato (would recommend): i loved the chocolate and vanilla gelato and the presentation of it! it was so cute and a perfect dessert to finish off the night.
I put (would recommend) on the ones I personally REALLY enjoyed but all the food items were delicious and plated beautifully!

We had a truly lovely meal here. The restaurant has done a fantastic job with both the interior and exterior of the old Cafe Pinot. It has great space at the bar (with a view of hanging violins), and small, large, and communal tables, so it's g...
reat for any occasion. Cocktails were delicious, and the eggplant appetizer was probably the best eggplant dish I've had in LA. All the main courses also excellent. Highly recommended.
