Wedding day is a busy day! These folks showed up on time, set themselves up, played beautiful music (including a few special requests I asked for in advance). It was wonderful getting ready and hearing my custom requests played on string as my guests were waiting for the wedding. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I knew we wanted to walk down the aisle to live music, and Seven Hills Strings Duo made this dream a reality for our wedding day! From beginning to end they were fantastic to work with. Quick and friendly communication, extremely helpful in providing guidance for the fine details of the ceremony. There was zero stress to the planning process with Seven Hills, and they took every opportunity to handle set up/venue logistics directly with our coordinator to keep things as stress-free as possible. While there are many fantastic string quartets to choose from in the Cincinnati area, we really loved the unique romantic sound of a violin and acoustic guitar. One of the highlights of working with Seven Hills Duo was how 3 custom arrangements were included as apart of our package at no extra charge. My wife and I wanted to walk down the aisle to a TV show theme song that was meaningful to our love story, and Seven Hills brought it to life perfectly; we didn't even need to provide sheet music, they took care of the whole thing. Our recessional was also a custom arrangement that all of our guests loved! Seven Hills standard song rep was also very varied and extensive, so we got to choose so many favorite songs to set the energy of the pre-ceremony perfectly. Additionally, as an LGBTQ+ couple, my wife and I really valued how respected and welcome we felt in all of our interactions with Ben and Seven Hills. We would recommend them so highly to anyone looking for a string duo for their wedding!

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed Seven Hills String Duo. The process was very easy and smooth from the moment I reached out to them until the day of the wedding. They had so many songs to choose from and even offered custom songs. On the day of the wedding, the duo was self sufficient and didn’t require any help setting up, which made for one less thing to worry about. I had a small wedding but their music and talent were so wonderful that I felt like it was a huge wedding. They were great and all of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music too.

My wife and I hired Seven Hills String Duo to play during our ceremony and for the cocktail hour. We also rented a mic and speaker for the officiant to use during the ceremony. We worked with Benjamin Thomas from the beginning. He was easy to communicate with via email and phone, answered all of our questions, and was very organized. On the day of our wedding, the two string players assigned to us were on time, worked with the event location staff to set up their equipment, and played all the songs we selected prior. The string duo sounded amazing and our guests complimented them throughout the wedding. My wife and I would hire them again for any future events! We were so excited to have Seven Hills String Duo commit to our elopement shortly after watching them at another wedding! They were prompt in answering question's & all communication was answered with great enthusiasm. I felt they were musicians only working for “US”. My now husband, Kevin was happy I chose his processional song of Dream’s by Van Halen. I had them arrange a Special Song of “Falling Slowly”. The Seven Hills String Duo was the perfect vibe for our wedding—outdoors, acoustic, warm. The musicians were super organized and exquisitely rehearsed. They even created original arrangements for the songs we wanted to play. They pull the perfect amount of focus when featured during the ceremony, but are also capable of blending seamlessly into the day. We loved having them!!

These guys were great! Very friendly and easy to work with, as well as great communication over the phone. Props to them for coming through only a week or two before the wedding. They were very patient with us, even as we had to move a few things around the day of. On top of that, the music was very well done. Would highly recommend these guys.

If you're considering Seven Hills Duo to perform at your wedding or reception, don't hesitate! These gentlemen are true professionals not only in their performance, but also in their communication. Leading up to our big day, Ben was in contact with us making sure we had all of our questions answered. The Duo showed up well ahead of time which was greatly appreciated. Their pricing is affordable and did not add significant costs to our budget. We're extremely happy with the overall vibe that was added to our wedding ceremony. Our guests raved about how lovely the violin/guitar sounded and how it provided a touch of elegance and romance to our ceremony! Our ceremony location was Crescent Bay Point Park in Laguna Beach, CA, and one of the things we were challenged with was that we were prohibited from having speakers or any amplified sounds, based on the restrictions of the permit. But we were allowed to have live instrumentation, without amplification. This is where the Duo saved the day! They have an amazing selection of well-known tunes to choose from or you can ask for a custom piece for an additional charge. In all, I definitely recommend Seven Hills Duo for their excellent service, professionalism, and simple pricing structure and affordability. Thanks again to Ben and Tim for delivering and helping to make our special day one to remember for ages!

These guys were awesome to work with. They are so responsive and respectful about how crazy things get during the planning process. They collaborated with my cousin, who sang, and did a lovely custom arrangement for him. Super nice guys. And their music is beautiful. Not a dry eye in that garden that day. I recommend them 1000%, they would be a very special part of your big day, they sure were for ours.

Seven Hills were the perfect choice for us. All you want at your wedding is good vibes and that's what they bring in a big way. Great music and great people to boot. It never occurred to my husband to walk down the aisle to the Beatles, but when he saw "I Will" on their extensive song list I knew that was the one! I requested a song that wasn’t on their list (going to the chapel) and they delivered and made my walk down the aisle with my father extra special. They are quick to respond, professional, positive lovely gentlemen, highly recommend ❤️

Seven strings was amazing! My only regret is we did not have them play cocktail hr too! They communicated efficiently. When I requested a specific song to walk down the aisle too they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. And it was not ! I love watching my wedding back and hearing their music.

These guys are AMAZING!!!! They played our favorite songs and made them sound super 'fancy' with violin and acoustic guitar! They even customized two of our favorite songs (pearl jam, and pantera!) to make the day even more special. I cant recommend them enough! They have a huge song list to choose from, classics to modern to make the day exactly customized your taste.

Seven Hills was AMAZING! I had the pleasure of working with them and they were so accommodating, professional, and great at communicating. I believe live music really makes a difference and it was such a joy working with them. They had a variety of songs for the bride to choose from, they arrived early to the venue, and I didn't hear a single mistake during their set. As a planner/coordinator, it's always important to have vendors who don't need a lot of hand holding. Ben was extremely professional and easy to work with from the very beginning and I loved that they offered a mix of older, classic songs as well as modern songs. They even did a custom arrangement of Stuck Like Glue (our song) that played as I walked down the aisle which was such an awesome touch. We got many compliments on how talented these two were. Ben was an absolute delight to work with! They did such an incredible job performing the music for our ceremony (including pre and post). From the initial contact, Ben was very responsive, and happy to answer all of my questions. They had an incredible modern song list, which my husband and I preferred. They had some of our absolute favorite songs, that is was honestly hard to narrow down the list. At the end of the day, we have them a small list of our favorites, and the special picks for the ceremony, and told them that they could choose what they want from the rest of their modern list (because we loved it all anyway) to fill any remaining time, and their selections were great! They provided the exact atmosphere I wanted for my ceremony, and for my guests before the ceremony began. It was very classic/traditional, but with a modern twist, which is exactly what we were going for! They were great musicians and absolute professionals! Thanks!!
