before our wedding because our original one just wasn't working out, and Ben made me feel so certain that everything would come together beautifully despite the last-minute change. And it absolutely did! Ben answered any and all of my questions regarding contractual things, day-of musicians, intricacies of the timing of the music, etc. But the best part was, I was only asking out of curiosity - Seven Hills took full control of it all so that once I gave them my music choices (and even my favorite parts of the songs we picked) I didn't need to do anything at all. Stephen and Jordana played on our wedding day and they were INCREDIBLE musicians as well as lovely down-to-earth people. Working with Seven Hills String Duo, especially as a former (amateur) violinist myself, truly felt like a fun passion project, but one where I didn't have to do any of the work! Ben is such a kind, genuine individual and I would absolutely recommend Seven Hills String Duo for any and all events where you need live music!

There was zero stress to the planning process with Seven Hills, and they took every opportunity to handle set up/venue logistics directly with our coordinator to keep things as stress-free as possible. While there are many fantastic string quartets to choose from in the Cincinnati area, we really loved the unique romantic sound of a violin and acoustic guitar. One of the highlights of working with Seven Hills Duo was how 3 custom arrangements were included as apart of our package at no extra charge. My wife and I wanted to walk down the aisle to a TV show theme song that was meaningful to our love story, and Seven Hills brought it to life perfectly; we didn't even need to provide sheet music, they took care of the whole thing. Our recessional was also a custom arrangement that all of our guests loved! Seven Hills standard song rep was also very varied and extensive, so we got to choose so many favorite songs to set the energy of the pre-ceremony perfectly. Additionally, as an LGBTQ+ couple, my wife and I really valued how respected and welcome we felt in all of our interactions with Ben and Seven Hills. We would recommend them so highly to anyone looking for a string duo for their wedding!

worked with Benjamin Thomas from the beginning. He was easy to communicate with via email and phone, answered all of our questions, and was very organized. On the day of our wedding, the two string players assigned to us were on time, worked with the event location staff to set up their equipment, and played all the songs we selected prior. The string duo sounded amazing and our guests complimented them throughout the wedding. My wife and I would hire them again for any future events! Their pricing is affordable and did not add significant costs to our budget. We're extremely happy with the overall vibe that was added to our wedding ceremony. Our guests raved about how lovely the violin/guitar sounded and how it provided a touch of elegance and romance to our ceremony! Our ceremony location was Crescent Bay Point Park in Laguna Beach, CA, and one of the things we were challenged with was that we were prohibited from having speakers or any amplified sounds, based on the restrictions of the permit. But we were allowed to have live instrumentation, without amplification. This is where the Duo saved the day! They have an amazing selection of well-known tunes to choose from or you can ask for a custom piece for an additional charge. In all, I definitely recommend Seven Hills Duo for their excellent service, professionalism, and simple pricing structure and affordability. Thanks again to Ben and Tim for delivering and helping to make our special day one to remember for ages!

I requested a song that wasn’t on their list (going to the chapel) and they delivered and made my walk down the aisle with my father extra special.
