Severance Hall is a gorgeous wedding venue in Cleveland, OH. Considered one of Cleveland’s most beautiful places, Severance Music Center has been home to the Cleveland Orchestra since 1931. The elegant structure reflects the finest craftsmanship and harmonizes Neo-classical, French Nouveau, Art Deco, and Egyptian Revival styles. John Severance contributed much of the funding for this venue as a loving tribute to his wife, Elisabeth Prentiss Severance. Her favorite flower, the Lotus, is enshrined in prominent locations throughout, and even the ceiling design in the Mandel Concert Hall is based on the lace pattern of Elisabeth’s wedding gown. Megan has 25 years of experience in the events industry and absolutely loves the satisfaction of seeing an event pulled off flawlessly. She holds degrees in both theatrical production and classical flute performance. Megan performs with a local symphony in her free time and enjoys attending Cleveland family-oriented events and activities along with her 5 year old son.

ew to know exactly what I'd like, including pitching ideas that i didn't know were options. The entire experience was beautiful. My guest left feeling honored that they had the opportunity to experience such an event. I couldn't have asked for anything more . Megan and the entire staff definitely delivered!!!!

we are not contracting Fall 2026/2027 until the orchestra calendar releases for next season, your date is still in a hold state. We totally understand wanting answers sooner, but our hands are tied in waiting to contract dates past Labor Day, 2026. We are so glad you and your family enjoyed the complimentary tickets to TCO when you came in for your tour, and that you loved the venue! We would be happy to proceed with your booking once the calendar releases (typically in late February or early March) if you are still interested. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday season!

is smaller you really get to know the staff and it feels like you are in a big house. The location is also ideal for pictures, there are so many options. Carrie our wedding coordinator at the Glidden House was so kind and professional. She went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and both my mom and mother in law were so appreciative of all of her help! It also rained all morning on the day of my wedding but the staff quickly adjusted the ceremony to be under the tent and it was still beautiful! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for an intimate, vintage wedding.

The pricing was exactly as laid out in the contract, and helped us come under budget without sacrificing service or quality. Marigold Catering created the perfect 3-course plated dinner for our guests that they are still raving about months later. I would recommend The Glidden House and Marigold Catering to any brides without hesitation!

te decor. The staircases on either side of the room made for a dramatic entrance, as well as a perfect location for group photos. We planned our wedding long distance and Jennifer was very easy to work with. After we found all of our vendors, we provided her with their information and she coordinated from there with each one. Also, she was there the day of the wedding keeping everything on track. The only negatives were 1) that the facility doesn't have chairs available, so we had to rent them separately ourselves, and 2) there was not an option to extend the event (on the night of the event) if the party wasn't quite over yet at the pre-determined end time.
