From my first appointment at Sew Bridal, Kelly made everything so comfortable and easy. She had picked out many dresses for me to try and then let me look through as well. Kelly had champagne ready and a positive and energetic attitude toward the process! I started looking for a dress a few months later than recommended (quicker wedding) and Kelly really helped me with my timeline for getting my dress ready in time! I found my dream dress at Sew Bridal but had some ideas to make it even better and Kelly was open to helping me make all of the changes. She made sure everything came out absolutely perfect and it was an amazing experience. She also took a piece of my grandmas dress and stitched the date my grandma wore hers and the date I wore mine in blue as my something old and something blue, which was so special. I highly recommend Sew Bridal! Full disclosure, Kelly, the owner is actually my sister, which made this experience even more special and amazing to me. I have watched Kelly make her dream a reality with Sew Bridal and through Sew Bridal help so many people look and feel confident and amazing on their wedding days. It was really a wonderful experience to be able to be her costumer!

Sew Bridal is THE bridal shop. If you are looking for a chic, private, and fun bridal appointment, you found the right place! Kelly is beyond fashionable, knowledgeable, and so so supportive. Her gowns are to die for and her alterations are absolute perfection. My best friend and I both got our dresses from Kelly and they were both altered by her. The dresses literally fit like a glove and there was no indication of them being altered at all. The compliments I got on my dress were unending. I appreciated that Kelly really understood ME and my vision. When my alteration appointments were completed, she even offered for me to come in a couple of weeks before the wedding to try on the dress again just to be sure I was completely confident in the fit. I cannot recommend Kelly and Sew Bridal enough!

I had an amazing experience with Sew Bridal! I went with my friend for her fittings at Sew Bridal and knew that when it came time for me to shop for my wedding dress, I would defintely return there to shop! Kelly was unavailable for my appointment but she was able to have her bridal consultant, Kristy, there. Kristy chose so many great dresses for me to try on. I am getting married in New Orleans and she totally got my vibe. There was something that I loved about each dress I tried on. I am mid size so it felt great to fit into some of the sample gowns and get a better idea of how I would look. I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere that we had the place to ourselves. It made the experience even more special. I liked that as I continued to try on dresses, we went back to previous dresses to decide which ones I liked better. It made the process easier. I would highly recommend Sew Bridal to brides who want a relaxed and fun shopping experience.

I bought my dress from Sew Bridal and had so much fun finding my dress! I went with a few friends and family and was nervous because I am so indecisive. Kelly was efficient, calm, and so down to earth during the appointment! Not pushy one bit! When the dress arrived, I came back for a try on and she was honest and realistic about what needed to be altered to make it even more perfect. I’m so glad we stopped at their booth at a wedding expo!

I got my dress from Sew Bridal, and Kristie was amazing and so fun to work with! I saw my dress at a bridal expo, was able to schedule an appointment there, and they had my dress waiting for me along with a variety of other beautiful dresses for me to try on. I can't wait for my fitting!

I cannot recommend Sew Bridal enough! Kelly made me feel so comfortable and helped me find my dream dress. I’ve always been the only bride in the store, which helps me not feel rushed. The store is clean and perfectly decorated, every inch is IG worthy. Alterations were a breeze. Kelly worked hard to make sure my dress was exactly to my liking and accommodated my schedule for fittings. I was even able to get my dress steamed through Kelly. Picking up my dress was quick and easy! From start to finish Kelly delivered a great experience, I am so glad I got my dress at Sew Bridal!

The team at Sew Bridal was great at helping me find my dress! They have a great selection, and Kelly was sure to pull styles that fit my vision (so I wasn't totally overwhelmed). Can't wait to wear my dress!

Kelly is such a sweet person and she helped me find my dream wedding dress. She's super helpful, very quick with response timing and will answer all of your questions with ease. All of her dresses are reasonably prices and look gorgeous. Highly recommend checking out her boutique!

Not 1, but 2 dresses 👏. Kelly and Olga were WONDERFUL to work with for my wedding. The whole experience is super PERSONAL. I have ZERO regrets about not going to a larger, well-known bridal shop for my wedding wardrobe. A month before my wedding I decided I wanted a 2nd dress. I ordered 8 dresses in the mail to try & Kelly took elements from one dress and put it into another to make the vision in my head a reality. We made a whole new gown. Whether you're a girl with a vision, or need help finding one, Kelly GETS YOU and doesn't let you leave unhappy. Sew Bridal did my big gown, my reception dress And even some honeymoon fits I brought in. They really are QUEENS 👑 at work. Kelly and Olga thank you for everything. A wedding can be stressful, especially that last month or 2. Work with people who (actually) know your name when you walk in, make you laugh, think of ideas for you even in their off time, people you can share your brutally honest opinions & concerns with and people that are actually invested in You, your look and your experience. If you've read this far stop freaking out about finding the right place. I would choose Kelly all over again tomorrow

Kelly is magic! She makes you feel so comfortable and listens to everything you need! I wish i had original bought my dress from her cute shop but at the time i did bot realize they sold dresses too. She altered my wedding dress and a bridesmaids dress for me along with my flower girl’s dress and she did amazing! I was over the moon with my experience here and she is not only so talented but she has such a positive attitude that creates such a fun atmosphere! I will forever recommend her to anyone i meet. 💕

I will never forget the extraordinary job that Sew Bridal did for my wedding dress. Out of all my wedding vendors (and I will go as far to say services I have ever purchased in my life), Sew Bridal did the most impressive job. I ordered a custom-made wedding gown, but it was made too small. Without enough time to hash out the mistake with the wedding gown shop, the only way the dress could fit me was through laborious alterations and tailoring (as anyone can imagine, making a gown larger is much more difficult than making a gown smaller). Kelly and Olga did an exceptional job tailoring my wedding dress so it fit me perfectly. I cannot emphasize how difficult a tailoring job my wedding gown presented, even for the most seasoned seamstress. I could not even zip up the back and walk up the stairs in its original state because it was several sizes too small. Kelly and Olga worked tirelessly to add inner panels to my dress to make it wider, they sewed on extra fabric, one lace appliqué at a time, to ensure the bodice fit snugly, among other alterations. This work was manually labor-intensive, time-consuming, and very tedious, but they patiently worked on the dress over the course of months. The end result was a beautiful wedding gown that fit me so well that I truly felt like I stepped out of a bridal magazine on my wedding day. My husband told me he would never have guessed the gown went through so many alterations had I not told him. I rarely ever post online reviews, but I wanted to post this review for Sew Bridal as a testament to the incredible work done on my wedding dress. At the end of my wedding day, I will never forget the moment when I stood in front of a full-length mirror to view my dress, remembering all the work that had gone into the alterations, and thought to myself, this dress is perfect. It is the most beautiful wedding dress ever, and I credit Sew Bridal for this touching memory. Thank you, Kelly and Olga! Words aren’t enough to describe how much your effort and time meant to me.

Kelly is an absolute doll and made our shopping experience beautiful and memorable. She had plenty of different styles and sizes with an option to customize if needed. My daughter found her dream dress and said YES TO THE DRESS!!! I would recommend any future bride to get the personalized dress experience they deserve at Sew Bridal with Kelly!

I would definitely recommend making an appointment with Kelly at Sew Bridal! By the time I made an appointment, I had already gone dress shopping a few times without any luck. I still had not found a dress that I truly felt confident in. However, once I tried on my first dress at Sew, I knew I would fine the "one" that day. And I did! I had a wonderful experience dress shopping at Sew Bridal! Kelly's shop actually carries a wide variety of dress sizes so I wasn't busting out of every dress and got a much better sense of how each dress might look. She provided a fun environment, lots of knowledge and made the whole experience smooth and fun.

I booked a consultation with Sew Bridal based on a recommendation from my best friend/MOH after her friend had gone there for a wedding dress. Kelly was so nice and had availability to work on my dress. She was very attentive and accommodating. It seemed like every time I went in, I wanted something else changed or adjusted on the dress, Kelly did this and made these changes happen without complaint. A couple pieces on my dress were harder to take in (mesh along the strap of my dress) - Kelly brainstormed and found ways to alter my dress to be comfortable for my day and did a tremendous job considering my dress had SIX layers. I am short (5'1") and petite and this dress needed to be taken in a fair amount. In addition, her shop is so cute. She has decorated the place beautifully - It has a wonderful aesthetic and they also sell wedding gowns there. The alterations cost was comparable to a lot of nearby seamstresses. I highly recommend Sew Bridal!

I bought my dress in Massachusetts but live in Chicago and I needed alterations done here before heading back east for my wedding. I bought my dress two years ago and with the quarantine weight gain my dress wouldn’t fit. My grandmother got me the dress and I didn’t want to buy a different one. Kelly and Olga worked their magic to make that dress work for me. Kelly let out most of the seams of my lace and beaded Maggie Sottero fit-and-flare (while leaving the front alone to keep the integrity of the original design). We were originally going to add in a corset back, but she was able to use the remnants from my hem to create a small expander to then add back in the zipper and buttons I loved so much. The bustle was perfect and easy for my bridal party to do up, and the chain stitch on my bust line helped the strapless dress sit securely. Kelly was kind and professional at every appointment, offering support and encouragement as she altered my dress to make it the new perfect for my day. I cannot thank Kelly and Olga enough for the labor of love they put in for me. I will definitely be back for bridesmaid alterations.

I found Sew Bridal through Yelp while looking for a alternations place for my wedding gown. I was getting married at the end of August, and because it was wedding season when I was looking, a lot of places were booked solid. First off, I appreciated Sew Bridal’s online scheduling, as I felt like a lot of places in the city I had to call and leave a voicemail. Secondly, Kelly is the sweetest! She was friendly and gives you the 1:1 attention needed. Kelly is detail oriented and you can tell she’s passionate about her work. She took good care of my dress and provided beyond exceptional service. I would recommend her to anyone looking for alterations!

Once again, Kelly has done phenomenal work on past dresses of mine so of course I could only entrust her to work on my wedding dress. Kelly has been so helpful with any questions I had regarding any alterations and never rushed me in any way during my appointments! I’ve been seeing her for three years now and it’s been amazing to see how far she’s grown her business! I wish I was looking for dresses when she started showcasing designers, they’re all so beautiful!!! She even made me a mask and hair scrunchie out of the leftover material from my dress, thanks again, Kelly! :)

I absolutely was extremely happy with Kelly. Before my wedding I had all my maids meet at her shop for a little celebration and maids measuring party. She has a cute little shop and it was very easy to work with her to create a gorgeous, custom cathedral length gown. Her price point was great and the veil I had made was great quality. Turnaround at Kelly's shop is very reasonable and I was not stressed at all about getting anything back in time. I also recently went to her for a bridesmaid alteration on a 2 piece dress for another wedding and she did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend her to anyone to use for bridal needs. I also love to support small, local business!
