So, I knew when it was my time to get married, she was going to be the first person I called. She recreated my mom’s HUGE wedding dress into a short off the shoulder modern dress for my rehearsal dinner. It was so special being able to wear my mom’s dress and it even brought lots of tears to my dad’s eyes. She also worked MAGIC on my wedding dress. She had to do a lot of work to get my dresses right and she did just that. She is a perfectionist and truly has a talent that I have never witnessed before. I would recommend her over and over again.

Angela made the whole process of dress fitting amazing. She knows exactly what she is doing and she has being doing this for a long time. My dress was hard to tailor but she did a fantastic job and everything was absolutely beautiful. Highly Highly Highly recommend.

Angela is so much more than a seamstress for wedding dress alterations. She's a full wedding stylist, a friend, and at times even a therapist. As a fourth generation seamstress, she's a true master of her craft with the most lovely personality. From the moment you walk into her home (which has 4+ rooms dedicated to wedding dresses!), you feel like part of her family. She has a level of attention to detail that only comes from years and years of experience. She'll ask you what earrings your wearing, what type of floor / ground you're walking on, how much you plan to dance, how you want to wear your hair, among other things so that she can ensure that your dress will not only look perfect, but will allow you to enjoy the type of wedding day you want. She does 200+ dresses per year and does everything herself - she's seen so many dresses and brides that there is truly nothing she can't do or that she hasn't seen. Wedding dresses are not an easy sewing job, and there are very few people who have the experience and understanding of dress construction that Angela does. My particular dress was not easy - I'm under 5 feet tall, had a sample size dress that needed a lining, and ended up losing more weight than expected. I ended up having 5 different fittings, which had the perfect balance of recommendations and also listening to what I wanted. My dress fit me so perfectly, and I felt amazing on my wedding day. If you're able to snag a spot with Angela, consider yourself one of the lucky ones!

Best seamstress ever! Angela’s talent is endless and her prices are very reasonable for the outstanding service she provides. She altered my daughter’s gown by adding sleeves and taking in the dress after a 40lb weight loss. Gorgeous work, she looked like a fairy princess on her special day. Run, don’t walk to Angela’s, if you need any special occasion alterations work. You won’t regret it.

I booked Angela the week after I bought my wedding gown (knowing it would be about 6-9 months for me to receive the gown - I had heard such great things and knew I wanted to work with her and wanted to get on her calendar as soon as I could). Angela was an absolute pleasure to work with - she was great at communicating the timeline and her attention at each of our sessions was on point. She was very detailed oriented and the quality in the work was top notch. I would recommend her to anyone and would give her more than 5 stars if I could.

It’s a shame there’s only 5 stars to give because Angela deserves at least double that. After not being able to find my dream dress on the rack, we started looking for styles that could be converted, dependent on a great seamstress. Well, we more than found that in Angela and she recreated an off-the-rack into a custom dream of a wedding gown. In addition, she also custom made my garter and six pence pouch from some fabric from my late grandmothers night gowns, and unexpectedly included blue hearts from my deceased fathers blue dress shirt. Far beyond our expectations in all facets! We also purchased my wedding earrings, some undergarments and a dress for my mother from Angela - she provides lots of beautiful and hard to find extras outside of her stellar seamstress work! Do. Not. Hesitate. Get in touch with her the second you’re ready to press “go” on a dress and secure your spot with her! Without any question one of the best decisions I made in wedding prep!

Angela is the best! She does an amazing job with any alterations needed. For my wedding dress, she took in the waist, shortened the straps and hemmed. Her work is incredible and she is such a pleasure to spend time with in the process. She also creates beautiful bridal hairpieces and has a great selection of veils available.

The work Angela did on my dress was simply incredible!! Her detailed work on my Justin Alexander gown was perfect. She had quite a bit of alterations to complete since I wore flats for my wedding. Angela is an outstanding seamstress who is professional and also has an extremely bubbly personality! She met with me prior to COVID-19 for my first fitting and still managed to get my dress to me in time for my May wedding with days to spare. I'm a shorter, curvier girl and she had to essentially re-design the dress to fit my body. She lived up to the challenge and executed it perfectly. I felt amazing in my dress. Angela was an absolute dream to work with! I came to her with a wedding dress I liked a lot, but needed it to be transformed into my dream dress, and she did just that. When I first purchased my dress, it didn't have sleeves, but I knew I wanted sleeves for my December 27th wedding. Angela used the lace I purchased from the place I got my dress from and added the most perfect lace, long sleeves to my gown. She also did all of the other alterations perfectly: took out the crinoline I requested she take out, take in the bodice, shorten the hem, added a crystal belt (that she had in her shop!), and made me a beautiful veil. Angela is incredible at what she does and I felt beautiful in my dress on my wedding day. I got so many compliments on my dress and it was because of Angela's skill and expertise! Not only is she talented, but she also made me feel so comfortable at every appointment and is hilarious. Thank you Angela!!

I feel so lucky that I found Angela! I moved to Atlanta from Chicago and had no idea where to find a seamstress for a wedding dress. My dress was two sizes too big and had enough fabric for probably 3 dresses. The additional fabric made my hips look much larger than they are. Angela worked her magic and the dress turned out perfect. She is one of the most talented people I have ever met. She has an eye for design and is not afraid to be honest. She gave her honest opinion about the design aspects of the dress which I really appreciated. On top of her honesty, she is so sweet. I felt like I could trust her 100%. Angela also has tons of accessories! I bought some hair pins from her. The prices are good and it's nice to be able to try on the pieces with the dress.

Angela was just awesome! She was super sweet and did a fantastic job on my gown. She is super in demand so I had to reach out early but it was definitely worth it. She made sure that I knew what the dress was supposed to look and feel like and also wanted to make sure I was comfortable for my big day! If she did anything other than wedding gowns I would use her again!

Magnificent work. I really can not put into words how amazingly talented Angela is. Her experience and passion for making it perfect because she knows how much it means to you is outstanding. She knows you must be comfortable and is not afraid to suggest or even show you options. She removed the belt on my dress because I thought it should be lower and after she attached it lower I then changed my mind and went back to where it was before. The whole time she knew it would look better where it was but she did it to show me and without any hesitation. Angela has a warm and welcoming personality that creates the perfect environment. Before I purchased my dress, I was allowed to bring the sample to her in order to make sure she could work with the unique lace bottom in the way that I wanted. It was no problem and she gladly accepted the task. Everything was perfect.

Shop early, they said. Look for the wedding dress soon after the engagement, they said. Well, we did and found THE dress a year before the wedding, but waited closer to the wedding date for any alterations…where it had time to haunt the bride with “What if it had…?” and “If only…” and “Styles have changed and now I wish…”, and you get the picture. Now we had the task of finding a seamstress who could take on not only hemming the lace-trimmed ball gown and train, but also talented enough to re-design the bodice, lower the front into more of a sweetheart, open up the back into a deeper V, add an illusion neckline and hand place lace appliqués on all the new lines to soften and add a romantic feel. 6 weeks never looked so daunting! After looking everywhere and ruling out anyone who had a bad review (yes, even only one, as I didn’t want my daughter to be the “one” who had a chance of a bad experience), I reached out to Angela. What a beautiful, calming, endearing, pixie-esque, redhead who happened to be a seamstress extraordinaire! Putting my daughter at ease on the very first visit reassured us both that the dream dress vision for this bride was about to happen, and it was amazing! My daughter received so many compliments about her gorgeous lace gown and nobody could believe it had been re-designed. There is no greater seamstress. I came with a difficult task for Angela. My dress was too small around the bust. As a panicked bride, I reached out to Angela and she warmly welcomed me to her home. Not only was she able to see the problem within moments, she was able to get creative with how to blend more fabric perfectly into the bust of the dress including an added illusion top. When I put on my dress for the final fitting, I couldn't hold back the tears. The dress fit my body like a glove. I was able to fit beautifully into the dress of my dreams after her delicate customizations. Angela is one of the hardest workers I know and goes above and beyond for every bride.
