He took the time to understand us individually and as a couple to curate the perfect playlist for all our special moments. We personally put together a playlist with about 20 songs for the pre-ceremony music, 30 songs for cocktail hour/dinner, and 30 songs for dancing, and that seemed to give Linh enough context to add/subtract as needed. One of the best things you can do is review a few of the playlists that Linh already put together for his other weddings. These are available on his Spotify profile. Browse around, and you might actually find a few playlist that instantly hit the spot. But providing the bones of a memorable playlist is just part of the work Linh does. He has to play the ceremonial music all at the exact right time, he has to monitor how the crowd is responding during cocktail hour, he has to be flexible with the dance songs so that the dance floor doesn't clear out.... And he did that to perfection at our wedding. We're so glad we went with SF DeeJays and recommend Linh 100%!!!! On the extra items: I did attend a wedding that Linh was at, and that couple decided to get all the bubble machine and extra lighting. It was pretty fun! We personally didn't have the extra features, but didn't feel the absence at all. It's all up to each couple to decide for themselves, but if you do decide to go with the bubbles and lighting, I don't think you'll regret spending the money and vice versa.
