From start to finish, he kept the energy high, read the crowd perfectly, and made sure the dance floor was packed all night. The playlist was spot-on, mixing our favorite songs with crowd-pleasers that got everyone moving. Steve was also incredibly professional, easy to work with, and went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. From the start Steve was amazing to communicate with and the website to plan everything out was is easy to use!! So easy I picked over 7 hours worth of music! We had DJ Steve and Joe! They were both amazing and kept the party going until the very last minute! We had the absolute pleasure of having Steve as our wedding DJ and MC, he was so easy to work with, confident, charismatic and experienced. We met Steve at a Bridal Showcase and instantly connected with him. He was one of the first vendors we selected for our wedding and it turned out to be a great choice. He helped us plan the reception, clearly explained the packages he offered, and never pushed us towards anything we didn't want. His online planning portal helped us work with other vendors, prompted us to think about things we hadn't considered, and allowed us to direct musical choices. When it came to the reception, Steve was a masterful DJ/MC, blending our various styles of music, including a large selection of lesser-known Persian songs. As an MC, he kept the pace of the reception and ensured that we and all of our guests had a fun time. We got so many compliments from our guests on our DJ/MC. I found Steve on a New Jersey Brides Facebook group and I’m so glad I did. He was so thorough and helpful throughout the whole planning process and really took time with us every step of the way. Our wedding went great and our bbq reception was a blast. Steve DJ’d and emcee’d and he is really great at what he does. And he was able to do everything in both English and Spanish which was so helpful to us since we are blending our American and Guatemalan families. We truly were so happy with him and how everything turned out. And his prices were reasonable and well worth it! Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Our wedding day was fantastic, and much of it is owed to SG Productions. We worked with Steve at first and Joe was our DJ. Both were super helpful, accommodating, and they put together an amazing and fun night for us and all our guests. Joe made it a point to walk over to us several times and ask exactly how we wanted things to flow. He must have activated and lit up around 150 glow batons that we ordered and all the guests had an amazing time. Everything went off without a hitch and we are grateful for everything SG Productions did for us. THANK YOU!!!!

Steve is absolutely amazing to work with. He is so friendly and most importantly organized/professional. I was able to meet with him whenever needed over the course of planning my wedding. Steve was recommended by our family friend who was a maitre d at another popular North Jersey venue for years. Finding a bilingual DJ who could blend Hispanic and American cultures through music and dancing was a top priority for us. Steve DELIVERED. From our initial Zoom meeting with him, he took thorough notes and reassured us that he would make our wedding fun and have a backup plan should anything go wrong! The day of our wedding, he and his DJ Steven did our ceremony music and reception music. They worked in all of our song requests and blended the perfect songs to keep the dance floor packed the whole time. My Hispanic family was happy and my husband’s American family was too! We loved how he brought energy to the room and how they did dance sets of Hispanic, emo, and classic rock music. So many guests complimented our DJ so we could not have chosen a better DJ than Steve and Steven!

The service SG Productions provided for our wedding was insanely memorable. My husband and I will be married a year now in February and mostly all our guest still speak of the day. We had so much fun, and more importantly to us, our guests had so much fun, I can't tell you how many people came up to me during or after the wedding to compliment you, Steve. I also know that we probably weren't the easiest couple to work with, particularly with my new wife not being too heavily invested in the music (other than what NOT to play lol), or having the spotlight on her. We are so glad we chose SG Productions for our daughter's wedding! Steve came highly recommended by our caterer. We checked out a few other DJs but none of them made us feel confident they would be the right fit for what we were looking for. From the start, Steve was professional but personable. He agreed to meet with my wife and I in person at a local diner to explain what he did and what we were looking for. He let us know everything he offered but did not push any of the options or try to upsale us. Both my wife and I knew when we left that meeting that we had found the DJ for the wedding. My daughter and our new son-in-law found him easy to work with and very accommodating to what they did and didn’t want played at the reception. From the moment he started at the reception he had the crowd and made our daughter and son-in-law’s special evening an event that will not soon be forgotten. The music was perfect! Steve kept the music volume lower while we were eating but when it was time to dance - you couldn’t help but dance! We highly recommend Steve Guillen Productions! Hire him for your event!

When we met Steve, he was very polite, friendly, and professional. He was excited to hear our story. He didn't try and upsell us to a package that didn’t work for our wedding. His website made choosing the songs easy and fun. Steve made our wedding perfect by keeping the party going; we were so pleased by his total package, including the music, photo booth, and emceeing the evening that made the day perfect. We would recommend him to anyone and use him again for future events A+. Thank you so much for making our day special.

We hired SG productions for our wedding in September. We had Steve as our DJ/MC we loved the energy he bought and the way you can select music and plan your event. However, we did get mixed comments from guests that there was not enough upbeat dance music and my husband did have to ask the DJ to change the vibe at one point. We also had glitches in the father/daughter dance, but that may have been due to the video we sent him with footage to play on the screen and our song was wrong for the garter toss. As for the videographer, we loved our video and we never saw Brett sit down. He captured the day wonderfully. However, none of the dvds worked and we can only watch it on the flash drive. based off these issues is why I give 4/5 starts we loved the energy and the planning process but were really upset that not only can we not watch a video we paid a shinny penny for. We also had some of our special moments not run as smoothly as we'd like

A good DJ can make your wedding a blast; a bad one can ruin it. Steve was simply amazing. So easy to work with, read our wedding crowd perfectly and had our wedding guests (young and old) on the dance floor and having fun. Highly recommend you hire Steve and his team they wont let you down.

I met Steve at a Bridal Expo shortly after getting engaged. He was the first vendor I booked, and honestly talking to him at the expo made me feel SO EXCITED to plan and to be engaged. His radiant personality outshone every other vendor there (even the super shiny DJ booths with at the same expo with all the bells and whistles). He was incredible easy to work with- his online portal to help create your play list and day-of schedule was super easy and fun. The day of our wedding, Steve was there for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even our after party. The music was great, people were on the dancefloor all night long! He kept the party moving and did an EXCELLENT job as MC of the entire day. Steve, thank you so much! We had a great time with you.

We had a great experience with Steve using the base level package. My friend had used this company at her wedding and we had a great time! Steve himself ended up as the DJ at our wedding which we were thankful for. He read the crowd very well and my friends were sad when the music came to an end at the end of the night because we were having such a great time! My husband and I aren’t big music people in the sense that we don’t really know exactly what people like to hear at weddings, and we really didn’t want to take much responsibility for choosing what would be playing. Steve encouraged us to pick out a few songs that we like to dance to at events and then he filled in all the blanks from there. He also served as a great MC, meeting with our wedding party before the entrances to make sure he was pronouncing names right. I would recommend Steve again. I do feel that the basic package is probably good enough for most couples (our wedding was 140 people), but of course we knew that our crowd really just needed music to get going. Thank you again Steve!

Steve was incredible!! We didn't give him a lot of direction in music and he really read the vibe of our guests and the choices he made were great. I barely had time to talk to my guests because I was too busy on the dance floor. Everyone had an amazing time and Steve made that happen. We made the best decision ever by hiring Steve.

We had such a great experience with Steve and his crew! They kept us and our family/friends engaged, had everyone dancing and having a good time. We have heard so many compliments from our guests about the DJ and MC. The lighting was beautiful, the custom Monogram was perfect and the Dancing On Clouds was absolutely AMAZING!! Steve was so easy to work with, he even helped us both plan two separate surprises for each other! Our wedding was a dream come true with the help of SG Production! We have been to at least 7 weddings that Steve and his team have been the DJ at and we finally got him to do ours! They were amazing and really worked with us to make our day the best it could be! All of our guests loved them and a few of our friends will be using them in the near future!! Highly recommend them and can’t wait to see them again at the next wedding we attend!

Steve and his team were incredible with being timely and the music being on point! He also provided the photobooth service at the wedding which had our guests enjoying and laughing throughout the night. My guests danced all night and were saddened once they saw the night was ending. I loved how he was able to bring everyone together on the dance floor! He coordinated with my husband and I two weeks before the big day to have all the music and announcements be on point. His company was also organized with the website he provided to have all the music we wanted throughout the wedding. We had a mix of everything as we both have Latin American and American family members. I appreciated he was a big help with being able to merge two songs for the father daughter dance and the song came out perfect. Thank you for an unbelievable night and all the pictures from the photobooth!

We had the time of our lives at our wedding and so did our guests! The dance floor was never dead and the DJ kept the party alive ALL night. Truly an amazing company all around. Professional. On time. Knows what they are doing!!! Highly recommend.

There are many issues we had with using this company. First of all during the first meeting we were convinced that this second package was the best option because there would be a DJ controlling music and MC who would interact with the crowd and be on the microphone most of the night. Well we paid much more for this so called MC, I didn’t see this person do ANYTHING besides sit on his phone and get a free meal. But the most annoying part was me and my wife were called “mr and mrs” when being introduced. We are two girls, we are called mrs and mrs…everyone in the room was extremely upset and angry at this. He did correct himself but I would say at that point it’s too late. The only reason this company got two stars instead of one is because the photo booth we got from them was great!

SG Productions were great! Steve and his whole team made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception everything we had imagined. It was so great to see so many family members out on the dance floor! Steve & his dj Malik were absolutely amazing to work with! We had a zoom meeting with him a week before our wedding where we went over all of the details of the big day. We were not unprepared for anything the day of, which was something very important to us. His website had a very easy to use planning forum where we were able to input the names of everyone in our wedding party, the songs we wanted to hear & didn’t want to hear, the timeline of events, which made everything super smooth! We both would highly recommend Steve & his team to anyone looking for an upbeat DJ who listens to your needs & goes the extra mile to make your event as special as possible!

My husband and I used Steve Guillen Productions for our wedding and Steve was such a great DJ! He was very professional and accommodating to our last minute changes. Whatever I write here would not be enough to explain how great DJ Steve was. I met Steve through my aunt and boy was I happy I did. I did a little bit of back and forth but in the end, I am so happy with my choice. DJ Steve cared about me and my husband and what we wanted our vibe to be. He is one of the most professional DJ's I've spoken to. He has an online platform where we were able to give him a timeline of our day and what songs we want played at what times. Everything was PERFECT. From the beginning to the end of the day, DJ Steve killed it! Everyone at our wedding came up to us after our wedding (and to this day) to say that he was one of the best DJs they've ever heard. And let me just say, I totally agree. As a bride, the choice of the DJ was the hardest because you go off reviews and recommendations, but trust me. DJ Steve will not disappoint. My wife and I met Steve at a wedding expo in October 2018. As soon as we started speaking with Steve, we got an awesome vibe from him. With my wife being Colombian, we wanted to find a Latino DJ that would be able to appropriately blend the music between English and Spanish during our wedding. Steve being Latino knew exactly the type of experience that we were looking for. We spoke with Steve at the expo for a while and we exchanged information. The following week we received an email that we won the drawing for a free photo booth from Steve’s company, Steve Guillen Productions, if we were to book his services for our wedding. We set up an initial meeting with Steve at his office and ended up having such a great time at the meeting. Steve was personable, professional, and energetic. We went over all the services he offers – DJ, photography, videography, and numerous addons for events. In this meeting we also learned how important the role of a wedding DJ really is. We never realized before this meeting how much the DJ controls the flow of the wedding. From entrances to dances to speeches to even giving away center pieces. Steve was so detailed with work sheets on the flow of the events he works. After a week or two we ultimately felt we had to book Steve because of the vibe and connection we felt we made with him and his level of professionalism that we witnessed. We also ended up booking our videographer with Steve. Steve makes the process so easy for his clients to give them the best experience possible. He gave us work sheets and a log in to his client page on his website to input all the information he needed to know for our wedding. Music – must plays, don’t plays, first dance song, mother/father dance songs, etc. Wedding party information – all of the names of our wedding party, our parent’s names, my grandmothers name, how we would like them entering the wedding. All of our vendors information who he also gave copies of the itinerary to, hotel shuttle information for announcements, whether guests can take the center pieces – which was a yes and we thought would just be an announcement but Steve turned it into a game for the guests which we were not expecting but was so much fun for our guests playing. Anything that could be thought of Steve wanted to know no matter how little the detail was so that our wedding would go off without a hitch. We hired Steve as our DJ for our wedding at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn. He was beyond amazing prior to and the day of the wedding. He was super energetic, got EVERYONE on the dance floor and was just fun to be around. It didn’t feel like he was our DJ, it felt like he was our friend (with amazing DJ talent) on the dance floor. He played every song we requested in the perfect order. We can’t thank him enough for making sure the music was on point at our ceremony, and for keeping the night alive up until the last song at our reception.

Steve was an outstanding DJ and we highly recommend using his production company. The music we love doesn't exactly lend itself to a dancing. Steve was patient and thoughtful in helping us build a great playlist. He was able to blend the music we love and great dancing music. Everyone had an outstanding time! When it was time to end the reception, no one would get off the dance floor...so Steve stayed another hour and kept playing! Great DJ.

Steve & his team really threw an amazing party on our wedding night! From the moment we first met him, he was very kind, honest, and easy to work with. Steve is extremely organized, and I loved being able to log onto his website to fill out all the little details, from the wedding schedule to song requests. Having Steve as our emcee really put me at ease, and from our meeting with him a week out before our wedding, it became very apparent to me that he is very experienced with event planning. He made sure that we had all the little details of the evening figured out ahead of time so that the evening could go smoothly, and he is very skilled at creating transitions thorughout the evening. On the night of, his DJ, Steve, definitely read the room and played songs that kept the party going. I loved working with SG productions and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

A few weeks have passed since my wedding, and I'm STILL blown away at how great of a party SG Productions puts on! STEVE was such a pleasure to work with. I needed an MC that could speak English and Spanish, he was perfect! He is professional, personable and super helpful. We hired him and his crew for MC, DJ, snow machine, dry ice and photo-booth! Never knew a wedding DJ/MC plays such a critical part but after having a stress free evening, we are so glad we chose him. Call SG Productions for your event! We cannot recommend them enough. Steve and his team did an AWESOME job! They created a great atmosphere for dinner but also a great party for after! They got the crowd excited and my mother (mother of the bride) said she looked around a couple times and saw literally everyone was on the dance floor! Our family loves a good party and Steve and his team definitely outdid themselves! Would HIGHLY recommend!!

So many people came up to my husband and I after our wedding to compliment us on the DJ. Our friends booked him a few days later for their wedding, and to be honest we are so excited to party with him as DJ again! He's done the weddings of three other friends and he does a great job every time. We had a lot of guests ranging from conservative adults to partying young people and Steve found music that everyone loved. Not to mention that he was very affordable, accommodating and really easy & fun to work with. I highly recommend him and can't say enough good things.

Steve is awesome!! Brett and I were literally changing things the day of and he was on it with everything!! The dance floor was packed the entire night! I ended up skipping the bouquet toss bc everyone was having an awesome time dancing! If I ever need a dj in the future I am going right back to him!

Hiring Steve to be our wedding DJ was the first and the best decision we made while planning our wedding. We did the "Festive Wedding" package and had a party percussionist. Steve took care of our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and the reception. Like most brides, my biggest concern was having a dull party with lame music. That was not the case thanks to Steve and his team! On top of providing a great party, Steve gave incredible customer service. About a week before the wedding Steve spent well over an hour on the phone with me going over every detail. The day of everything went off without a hitch and our friends and family danced the night away thanks to him!

We hired Steve based off of many friends' recommendations. We were really confident going in. During our last meeting before our wedding, however, we were introduced to the man who was going to serve as our DJ. I don't remember his name, but it wasn't Steve, and we were led to believe the whole time that Steve would be the one DJing our wedding. But whatever, if Steve hired him, he has to be good, right? Eh, not so much. He was struggling to keep up the pace. For example, as the food was being cleared, people were just kind of milling around, practically begging to dance, but he was still playing elevator music. We had to get the mater'd to go tell him to play something. It took him a while to get the pace going. He did read the crowd and had a great mix toward the end, but it was kind of too little too late. One thing that would have really helped was if he had some help... But wait! We had paid extra to have another person there to serve as MC. Our venue had a balcony, so we definitely knew we wanted one person down on the dance floor running things and one person at the booth -- we barely saw the kid. In fact, one of the few times I did see him, he was sitting and eating, and didn't even flinch or try to look busy when he saw me. We felt pretty ripped off. So after our honeymoon, we wrote Steve a long email detailing our grievances. He responded a few days later saying he would talk to them and would get back to us. Never heard from him again.

His positive, high energy vibe is what got me from our first meeting! I felt like just by talking to us, he understood our vision for our special day. The photo booth was a big hit! Everyone couldn't get enough of it. I also thought that the give away game for the center pieces was different and fun to watch!! Honestly, Steve was amazing and we couldn't imagine a better MC and photo booth thanks to Steve and SG Productions!

We got married on July 2, 2017, and it was the best day of our lives! Steve really helped make us feel comfortable, and helped ensure that everything went smoothly during the reception! We never once worried about timing of anything with him there. Leading up to our big day, he sat down with us for a couple hours to figure out all the details and we never felt rushed or like we were taking up his time. For our first dance, we performed part of it live and then transitioned into the song. He figured out exactly how to edit the song and fade in so we could do everything smoothly, we were super impressed! He also had mics set up for us to sing and for my guitar. Throughout the reception, he did an amazing job of getting the guests to dance and have a good time. Overall, we cannot say enough great things about Steve. He really is the best and you'll have no regrets if you decide to go with him!
