Tiffany and Heather are amazing! I still can't believe the incredible transformations of my bridal party and myself. They seriously do it all. Some of us don't usually wear makeup, and we still felt comfortable. There were a variety of skin tones, and everyone looked well matched and blended. Shade and strand did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was amazing! Charee was the hairstylist and Kim did the makeup. They were both incredible! They also did the hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and my mom and everyone looked amazing! They came to my hotel room to do the hair and makeup and that was great! I cannot say enough good things about the Shade & Strand team. Heather, Kelly, and Tiffany were amazing! I had 10+ people getting ready with me, and this trio got everyone all dolled up SO fast that we had extra time for photos in the suite. On top of their efficiency, they also made everyone feel so comfortable and set the tone for a fun get-ready day. They really listened to what you had to say and made sure you were happy with the final result. I heard zero complaints from my girls which is what I hoped for. I'm not a huge makeup gal and was worried about not liking the whole bridal glam look on myself. But Heather made me feel like a princess and even convinced me to wear fake eyelashes (which was something I never do). I've only gotten a few professional photos back, but she was so right — they look great. She also did an amazing braid on me which I got so many compliments on and wish I could wear every single day. Shade and Strand is amazing! I met them when they did hair and makeup at my sisters wedding and I loved them! They make sure everyone feels comfortable and are a calming presence for everyone. They listened to what the girls wanted and also provided options. I told them I just wanted all my girls to feel like princesses and beautiful and they did just that. Shade and Strand was super easy to work with and I was thrilled with the end result. Kelly styled my hair beautifully for an outdoor beach up-do that held perfectly all night. Heather is the absolute best!!! The trial was exactly like the day of hair and it was exactly what I wanted. She is so kind and was such a great presence on my wedding day. She also took note of the little things such as, we forgot a speaker and she let me connect to hers and my mom was concerned with her make up so she was able to fit her into the day and do my moms make up. I could go on and on, but overall just make sure you use Heather, you won't be upset!!

Heather's team was amazing, and if I ever have another event where I need hair and makeup I will absolutely go back to them. I had a difficult time with the original HMU team I planned to book, and 3 weeks before the wedding I decided to switch to Shade and Strand and I'm so glad I did. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and such a vibe on the morning of my wedding. Everyone was great, but Tiffany's makeup was truly the standout for me. It was everything I could have wanted and more. At my trial I didn't have the words to explain the lipstick color I wanted and she was so patient while she helped me figure out what I was trying to describe to her. She eventually ended up creating a custom color on the spot and it was the exact shade I had been trying (and failing miserably) to articulate.

Heather and Tiffany saved the day. I had booked Shade and Strand to do my bridesmaids hair and makeup and my hair only. The person that my mother in law booked to do my own makeup stopped responding and did not show up the day of the wedding. Tiffany and Heather jumped in to the rescue and were able to accommodate doing my makeup and also add my mother in law. They stepped in a second time to the rescue as the power at the hotel went out. They were able to pivot and do both my flower girls hair without power and they looked beautiful. Once we were able to regain power they worked diligently to make sure we would still all be ready on time. I cannot recommend their services more! I showed them exactly what I wanted and they did just that. I trusted that they would do the same on my wedding day. Heather and her team were great! She was very communicative/responsive, and she specifically picked a hair/makeup artist from her team that specialized in what I wanted (a softer/more natural look). I did a hair/makeup trial so that the wedding day would go more smoothly (highly recommend) and my wedding morning was low-stress (relatively speaking) as a result. My bridesmaids all looked gorgeous and both of the artists we had on the day were extremely nice and friendly. Getting my hair and makeup professionally done wasn't something I'd really done prior to my wedding but Heather's team made me feel so comfortable! Brittany did my wedding day of makeup and the works for my groom. I asked for something on the more simple side. I was nervous because I’ve never had my makeup done before. I told her I wanted to still look like myself. She did an amazing job. She asked questions, asked if I wanted adjustments, she was awesome. For my husband, he says she was very nice and she worked with him on the things that he wanted.

Tiffany and Neva were the absolute best hair and makeup team I could ask for on my special day. My hair and makeup looked insanely stunning and I felt so beautiful. Heather and her stylists (Kelly and Tiffany) were incredible! From the mini hair/makeup trial, I could tell that they were a fun team. They were extremely easy to set up a reservation, which was exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention, their prices are extremely reasonable. There was no fuss over special services when making the reservation as there was either no extra charge (e.g., updo vs. down) or extra services (e.g., fake lashes) could be added on the day of. Heather and her team were reliable, with regular communication from Heather leading up to the wedding. They even arrived early to ensure that they could have plenty of time to set up. We paid additional money for an extra assistant, and it was well worth it. With 3 stylists in total, my 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 2 flower girls, and I had all our hair and makeup done in 4 hours. They made sure we were also having fun, with a party playlist and lots of photo opportunities throughout the morning. It set a great energy for the rest of the day, and I’m super happy that they were part of my wedding day!

Heather and Kelly did an amazing job for our wedding! My partner has longer hair than I do, so they braided it for him and he kept it in for an extra day and didn’t want to take it out. My hair and makeup were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They even stayed a bit late to give some of my bridesmaids lashes to help them glam up since we weren’t doing full services for them. And they are so fun to hang and get ready with!! They helped make our day so special and fun and beautiful!

Me and my wife hired Shade & Strand to do our Hair and makeup during our wedding. We had a big party of 16 and started at 11am and had to be done around 3pm. How did they get us all done and make us look glamourous? I don't know but they sure did! Heather, Kelly, Neva & Tiff were our artists and their energy and vibe alone kept us excited and made us feel less anxious. We showed them inspiration pics and they nailed it. I had my trial with Heather a few months back and she did an amazing job but once she saw my dress and cathedral veil, she said she may have to make changes from our trial due to the glamourous look and weight of my veil and OMG...I cried and gave her a big hug after she was complete with my hair & makeup. These women are so professional and really listen to you but also make recommendations that they think may compliment your theme, outfit and look. Don't wait to book them!

These girls are amazing. I had several makeup and hair trials and I’m so glad I went with tiff and Heather. They handed my large bridal party like bosses and did not make the event stressful AT ALL. Heather killed it on my hair. It was exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with the result. Tiffany understood the assignment of soft glam but still making me look like a princess. From the first conversation I had with Heather, I felt a sense that she really cares about her client’s wishes for their special day. She was super accommodating over the phone when I first booked my actual wedding day and was patient with me as I figured out a day to book a trial. I have to admit, I was scattered through the process and had changed the times and dates multiple times trying to arrange my trial date for an engagement photo session with a photographer. Heather was so kind through all the changes and last-minute adjustments. She was also super enthusiastic in giving me recommendations for my look based on photos I’d sent her of my dress and pictures I’d sent for hair & makeup inspiration. Even though I didn’t get to have Heather as either my personal hair or makeup artist, I am so beyond grateful for her coordination, and through all the communication we had, I felt like we actually met in person. Heather booked me for both my trial & day-of hair & makeup to be done with Neva & Tiffany- and I also cannot say enough good things about these two! Both Neva and Tiffany are super talented at what they do! & they are so sweet & fun to be around. Both girls were friendly and made me super comfortable as we talked and laughed through the sessions. My makeup was literally flawless and lasted all day for both my trial and day of. Tiffany was so sweet, she even let me keep a lipliner to touch up. Neva is an absolute doll and was so patient with me as I changed my hair-do for my day of from the trial. I honestly cannot believe how beautiful my hair looked for two very different styles and with her only looking at a couple photos I’d saved from Pinterest. Honestly, I feel lucky to have found Shade & Strand on my search for my wedding hair & makeup and will totally go with them for future special events! Thank you Heather, Neva, and Tiffany!!!

I hired Heather to do my hair for my wedding. I did a trial beforehand and completely switched up what I wanted the day of the wedding and Heather killed it! I went from requesting my hair curled half up and half down, with a twist. and fish tail braid to having my hair curled down with clip in extensions she put it in for me, and two braids along my crown. She did a wonderful job blending in my clip in extensions and my curls were so voluminous and bouncy. My friends were also obsessed with her curls and how gorgeous they came out. My hair was absolutely stunning. The moment it was done I could not stop smiling! I felt so beautiful because I pull out my hair and to have it look so amazing, was just the BEST. To top it ALL off, Heather is also a sweetheart who has a beautiful personality, she came on time, checked in on me before the wedding a couple times and was accommodating to the last minute changes I made. Heather is absolutely wonderful. She has such great energy to help me and my bridesmaids feel relaxed, excited and ready for a special day. She looked at everyone's style images ahead of time and worked with each guest to help them feel beautiful. Honestly, whatever I am writing in this review is an understatement. Tiff and Heather were more the amazing, they were absolutely one of a kind. They knew exactly what I wanted for each of my girls! That is not even the first half of it; their personalities...it literally made all my nerves disappear the day of the wedding 03/26/2023, they reassured me, the vibes and atmosphere were so positive throughout the make up and hair process. It was just awesome all the way. Our personalities just clicked so well and I know that I wouldn't have found a better duo than Shade & Strand. Tiff and Heather, keep doing what you are doing! If I get married again, I am calling you for hair and make up. Lol.

Absolutely in LOVE with my bridal hair! Heather and Kelly quickly and flawlessly did my hair (bride), 7 of my bridesmaids’ hair & my 2 moms’ hair quicker than we had even planned for them to. I got so many compliments and everyone was so happy with the outcome. My hair stayed perfect the ENTIRE night and even the next day. Both Heather and Kelly were so so sweet and helpful and just all around great vibes. Would HIGHLY recommend.

These girls were amazing! Not only did they make me feel absolutely beautiful, but they were so sweet and so much fun! Absolutely loved their vibe! I was slightly nervous since I had to find someone last minute from out of state after being cancelled on, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I would absolutely use them again!!!

We had a 6am-11am slot at our Airbnb for a noon wedding for 6people including myself, the bride. Not only were Heather and Tiffany on time, they were both done with all of us before 9:30. Our hair and makeup lasted all day and evening without a strand or an eyelash out of place. I cannot recommend them enough.

Heather was so great! She was wonderful to work with and make the whole process from booking to day-of so easy. She has a fun personality and made me feel completely at ease as she did my hair and makeup for my wedding trial and day of my wedding. Heather and Tiffany are the A-Team! Heather answered all my questions about my chosen style right away and on the day of the appointment she welcomed me with a huge smile! I was impressed with how fast she worked on my hair! Tiffany was a dream to work with. I wanted to go super light and natural, and she explained the cons of having too much of a natural look and how ID would affect my photos. She reassured me the entire time and made me feel incredibly comfortable and beautiful. They were even gracious enough to let me and my brother change at their salon! When I had my make up trial, Tiffany made me feel so beautiful! I received so many compliments. On the day of the wedding the whole Shade and Strand team helped myself, my mom, bridesmaids and flower girls with our hair and make up. One of our out of town guests forgot their make up and they were even able to fit her in. My hair and make up looked amazing the day of! I felt so beautiful.
