Only a few blocks from the Manhattan Beach pier, this resort hotel is ready to host your festivities with five event spaces and beach ceremony options. These blend classic conceptions of indoors and outdoors, providing you with the flexibility to create the celebration you envision. You can book the entire hotel for your celebrations so that you and your guests can enjoy all the amenities of these premises throughout your proceedings. The event spaces on-site include the central Courtyard, the breezy zinc@shade Terrace, the stylish zinc@shade Lounge, the scenic Skydeck, and the secluded Green Room.
Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach is available for religious and non-religious wedding ceremonies as well as commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewals. The venue staff understands the importance of your special day and aims to make your celebration perfect. These event professionals will strive to make your wedding vision a reality. Up to 200 people can share in your occasion, with bartending and catering taken care of by hotel staff. You will also have access to event rentals, on-site accommodations, and more.

With a passion for celebration and an impressive 30 years of event planning expertise, Mimi specializes in curating dream weddings that ensure both you and your guests experience an unforgettable day. Originally from Cleveland Ohio, Mimi comes from a family of caterers and event planners. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Mimi moved to Southern California and has lived in Manhattan Beach for 21 years. Outside of work she is a competitive tennis player and loves spending time with my friends and family, including her two children.
