We absolutely loved working with Shade Weddings and Events. They communicate clearly and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. I also really appreciated the decorations included with the space rental~ made our decorating job a lot easier! I would totally recommend Shade to anyone. :)
We loved this venue for my son’s December wedding! It has so much space inside, that we had room for food service, 12 tables with chairs, AND a big dance floor, all with lots of guests. No one felt crowded at all. It’s absolutely beautiful all by itself without adding any extra decor, but they were also great about letting us add whatever we wanted. We had several people ask us at the reception “How did you hear about this place??? It’s SUCH a great venue.” The only thing that could be a little tricky for guests is knowing where to enter the building, so we used a balloon arch in front of the entrance to make that clear. Staff was fabulous to work with!

Shade Weddings and Events presents endless possibilities for wedding planning. Kickstart the festivities with a sweet ceremony in the Glasshouse, where tall, vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan create plenty of space for party-goers. Afterward, head to the Vineyard or Greenhouse, where a labyrinth of fresh, seasonal flowers and potted greenery creates a magical backdrop for wedding photos. Sun-kissed cocktail events can also take place here, and when evening comes, you and your loved ones can retreat to the Glasshouse, which will be set up and decorated according to your desired reception theme. This stunning function area has ample space for a dance floor and any banquet arrangement, and an elevated platform at the top of the room provides the perfect stage for speeches, a live band, or a DJ. Real-wood wall paneling and cascading installments exude a cool, relaxing, and minimal aesthetic that can easily complement a variety of looks and styles.

I’ve been in the wedding industry for about 8 years, and I’ve somehow worked my way through almost every part of it—from bridal hair and makeup to designing wedding dresses, marketing, and now wedding and event management. I’ve always loved the energy of weddings and the fact that every one is a little different. At Shade Weddings & Events, I get to work with couples throughout the planning process, help bring their ideas together, and make sure everything runs smoothly when the big day finally arrives. I’m definitely a detail-oriented person and love making sure everything is where it needs to be, but I also know that at the end of the day, not everything is going to go exactly according to plan—and that’s okay.
