Being the MOB I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed the wedding because SSE took care of everything my daughter had planned with them. I did not have to worry about one thing! They are take charge ladies but not take control. They even went extra steps at the end of the long day to make things perfect! Would recommend Shaded Spruce thousand percent to anyone considering a wedding planner.

Shaded Spruce made our day so easy. Their work allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day - we didn't worry about a thing. It's stressful to plan a wedding but they added insight, clarity, and organizational skills where they could and advised us where they couldn't. They took our vision and made it a beautiful reality. They were a wonderful addition to our wedding team!

Shaded Spruce Events was amazing at ensuring our day went off without a hitch! They handled everything day of so us, our family and friends didn't have to worry about anything. They thought of every little detail and helped us make decisions that fit us during the planning process! BEST vendor we hired. They helped organize all other vendors and really helped to ensure we ENJOYED our wedding day! We want to relive this day a million times over thanks to their amazing support.

McKayla and Megan with Shaded Spruce Events provided so many resources during our planning process that made things go so smoothly! I cannot believe how knowledgeable they are in regards to wedding planning. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my groom and I felt at ease. They were organized and very responsive to all our questions. There were so many little things that I didn’t have to worry about on the day of because they took care of it all! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need a day of coordination for their wedding!

I hired shaded spruce as a gift for my brother and sister in laws wedding, and not only was the day perfect but it made my role as a bridesmaid such a breeze. They had the day scheduled so flawlessly, and so many people commented on how well everything went. It was SO nice not having to do any set up or tear down and fully enjoy the day as family/bridesmaid. They thought through all the details, and kept everything running smoothly. I absolutely recommend every couple (or in my case family of the couple) hire them for planning their special day!

McKayla did an awesome job helping making sure the day went smoothly! I was so worried about the timeline and if the room flip would go smoothly including the decor getting set up. I didn’t even have to give it a thought on my wedding day! I didn’t see McKayla very much, which is a great compliment because everything was being taken care of without needing to coordinate with me or grabbing me during the day/night. We got a ton of compliments on how smoothly the wedding went!

We worked with McKayla and her team for day-of wedding coordination. McKayla stepped in about a month before our wedding date to better understand our vision and to address concerns we had. She started communicating with our vendors right away and helped tie up loose ends. After each meeting with McKayla, I felt more calm and less stressed-- two things every bride needs leading up to the big day! McKayla's team was present and attentive on the wedding day which allowed us to focus on having fun and not deal with any stress or drama. I loved filling out the Shaded Spruce questionnaires about wedding day details because it helped me think of things I otherwise may have missed and helped me get organized. McKayla also crafted a detailed wedding day timeline with us that was so helpful in making the day run smoothly and keeping all of us on the same page. We would recommend Shaded Spruce Events to anyone!

I don't know what we would've done without Shaded Spruce on our wedding day. McKayla and her team took on all of the day-of details so that the wedding party could relax and enjoy everything! They ensured that everyone showed up on time and that the vendors followed through on our requests. I would highly recommend Shaded Spruce to anyone else looking for a wedding planner in the Twin Cities!

I cannot say thank you enough to McKayla and Shaded Spruce! They helped our day go by smoother than I ever imagined! I am very organized and like to be the planner, but I had to take the back burner for my big day. The staff at Shaded Spruce are professionals! I trusted them with everything, and my day was perfect. They answered every question, was there to support us, and helped explain everything. If you are debating between having a planner or not, I would say definitely get one! They help with every little detail, and just focus on your day and have fun! I am so grateful for this team!

McKayla is immaculately organized, personable while also professional, she has great knowledge and connections in the industry, she’s flexible and creative. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her and Shaded Spruce. She recommended several local vendors that we used (we live in California and got married in Minnesota so we appreciated the local help) and I honestly didn’t worry about the run of show on the day-of at all. She made everything go just as it was supposed to and headed off problems that I never knew about until later when she gave me a great breakdown of how the day went. Shaded Spruce’s process makes you think through details early you probably wouldn’t think about on your own without a coordinator, which means you don’t have to make new decisions on your wedding day. Please believe me when I say this is critical. The day-of is more busy than you can even imagine for the bride and groom. You are having this big event so you can enjoy your family and friends, so set yourself up to be able to do that by booking a day-of coordinator. You will not have time or brain space to make decisions on the fly that day about how the day should run or how to solve annoying problems that will inevitably pop up—on this you just have to trust me. I have nothing but positive feelings when I think of my wedding and the role Shaded Spruce played. You will get your money’s worth by booking Shaded Spruce.

I cannot recommend McKayla and Megan from Shaded Spruce enough! From start to finish they saw all our wedding dreams and ideas through. They were more than helpful, always available when needed, and so knowledgeable about the wedding industry. Our wedding day was so easy, stress-free, and fun and that was all thanks to Shaded Spruce. They truly helped us to have the best wedding day and we can't thank them enough!

Shaded Spruce was a life saver in the unpredictable time of Covid-19. My husband and I were one of many couples that postponed our wedding from 2020 to May 2021, which put us in the unique predicament of having planned most of our wedding a year and a half prior to the actual wedding day. With that being said, our wedding day definitely snuck up on us, and I felt super unprepared about a few months out from the wedding day. I had not planned to hire a wedding coordinator team, but I am SO happy I did. I realized I had no idea how to plan the small things like a timeline and ensuring vendors were set up when they needed to be and where. McKayla was such a pleasure to work with and she took care of IT ALL. The Shaded Spruce team is so thorough with their planning and anticipate all hiccups before they ever happen. McKayla took care of setting up day-of decor and ensuring audio systems were up and running properly. BUT, she also ensured everything was taken down at the end up the night and stored items in our vehicles for transporting--in retrospect it is SO nice to not have to have worried about that on my wedding day and knowing that the extra duties were already being taken care of. I was definitely a bride that didn't think a wedding coordinator was a necessity, but if I had to redo the day over again, I 100% would book Shaded Spruce Events every time. I am so thankful for McKayla's expertise and professionalism, and she was a big part in our day running as smoothly as it did.

I cannot write enough good things about this company. Megan and Rachel coordinated my wedding, and looking back I can’t imagine our big day without them. COVID and changes related to it were already stressful enough. It was a last minute decision to hire them because I had no idea what a coordinator was. We were starting to get overwhelmed with making changes so close to our wedding because of COVID, and that’s when I started looking into a coordinator. It was the best decision I made. All we wanted to worry about on our wedding day was marrying each other, having fun, and enjoying time with our loved ones. Luckily, we got all of these things because of Megan and Rachel. They dealt with any behind the scene issues that occurred, and directly communicated with all of our vendors for us right before and the day of. If a problem occurred, we had no idea. Trust me, that’s how you want it to be. They are miracle workers, who work very hard to make sure your vision of your wedding goes accordingly. They have a ton of info for you ahead of your wedding that makes sure you have all of your bases covered. I was the first in my family to get married, and one of the first of my friends. When I didn’t necessarily get the insight I was looking for from my loved ones, Shaded Spruce was there for me and talked through a lot of concerns, even if they seemed silly. We cannot thank them enough. If you are a skeptic, don’t be! You won’t regret this decision. They are so worth it.

Mckayla and her team were absolutely fantastic. I would recommend their team over and over again and I will be telling all of my friends about them! They were so professional and kind from the very first phone call. We used the day of coordinator services and our day wouldn’t have been possible without shaded spruce. They competed all of the setup tasks and kept everyone on schedule. Any questions I had or extra tasks that came up were taken care of immediately. Our day was seamless and that was truly because we have Mckayla and her team there! I didn’t have to worry about any details for my wedding the day of and I truly got to enjoy the whole day because of this team! They are the BEST!

Planning a wedding at our home and through COVID came with a ton of challenges, but McKayla was there through it all to help us navigate through all of the questions and unknowns. They provided exceptional support, helped us answer questions prior to the day of, and were honestly essential in the planning process. She was super organized, friendly, and has great ideas! McKayla and Rachel were absolutely AMAZING on our wedding day. From decorating to helping us stay on schedule and figuring out last minute details- I honestly didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day. I can't say enough good things about McKayla and her team. Our day could not have been more perfect and that was in huge part thanks to Shaded Spruce Events.

Not only was McKayla diligent about checking in leading up to the wedding, but she and her team designed the most beautiful signs that fit with our theme perfectly! And as far as the day-of ... just wow. We were able to sit back and enjoy the most perfect day of our lives all thanks to the work, coordination, and support from these women. McKayla & Megan are sweet souls that never made me feel like I was asking too much....even when I was. They were so easy to work with and they were so organized. I was surprised how they really made wedding planning easy by creating step by step documents so I was never guessing. On my wedding day, they were so much fun to have around, not stuff like some others I had interviewed. My guests even noticed and commented on how smooth the day went and how they wish they had Megan and McKayla at their wedding. I interviewed about five different planners and we hired them because they were genuine and made it easy to talk to them. They are the best money we spent on our wedding, you won't regret hiring them.
