Andrea and Kara are an absolute dream team. These two women are both so warm, naturally talented and extremely accommodating. I hired Shades of Blush for my wedding on 9/6/21 which was Labor Day. Despite the holiday and craziness of the pandemic, Andrea was extremely responsive throughout all of our communication and incredibly organized making is so much less stressful on me the morning of the wedding. Kara ended up doing my bridal makeup and the two of them split the rest of my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG. They made each woman look beautiful but not overdone. They truly both apply makeup in a way that highlights someone's natural beauty, adds a bit of glam while still being able to recognize yourself in the mirror. Not only are they the best of the best in the beauty field, Andrea and Kara are kind, friendly and lovely to be around. Although the wedding morning can be hectic, especially for a bride, their presence just brought so much peace and comfort as we glided through the getting ready stage. Could not recommend Shades of Blush enough.

I would highly recommend Andrea & Kara for your next event! Andrea was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to end. She made me feel amazing the day of and my airbrush makeup looked gorgeous even after sweating on the dance floor! They both did an amazing job on all of the ladies in my bridal party, everyone was happy and felt beautiful.

Andrea is super friendly and easy to work with and does beautiful work. I met Andrea at my brother's wedding 5 years ago and my make up was so stunning I knew when I got married I would be calling on her! I ending up having a small wedding and our larger rescheduled wedding and Andrea took care of me for both! Highly recommend.

Working with Andrea and her team was an absolutely amazing experience! From our first email exchange I felt comfortable asking Andrea any questions I had which helped me to feel at ease throughout our wedding process. Andrea made me feel like a real life princess on the day of our wedding and my whole bridal party had never felt more beautiful. My makeup withstood 90 degree May weather in an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and an after party! Andrea is the best and I hope to work with her again in the future.

I can’t say enough positive things about Andrea and her team. She was so kind and patient as I tweaked my wedding day make up look - she made sure I felt my absolutely best and made my vision come to life. All of my bridesmaids looked amazing and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how great my make up looked! I am not someone who wears a lot of make up daily, so my wedding make up was a bit of a challenge for me to figure out exactly what I wanted, but Andrea nailed it by keeping it natural but enhancing - she made me feel like a princess! My bridesmaids were also initially unsure if they wanted to get their make up done, but after seeing Andrea’s work, changed their mind and are so glad they did. I truly cannot say enough good things about Andrea and the entire Shades of Blush team. They are a group of extremely professional, talented and personable ladies who did an amazing job of making myself and my bridesmaids all look and feel beautiful on the day of our wedding. They were able to work with each of our individual styles and do our makeup exactly how we wanted. In addition to being talented they were such a nice group who let us have fun and made us all feel very comfortable all day long. I would recommend them any day!

I could not recommend Andrea enough! Her makeup not only lasted me the whole day (through lots of tears), but it also looked so natural which was super important to me. I have had difficulty with makeup artists in the past caking makeup on my face and not looking like myself. Andrea does not do this and really listened and trialed multiple things until I looked exactly the way I was envisioning. She even covered a scar on my groom’s face at the last minute and is so sweet and personable. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Andrea was so great to work with and is so talented! I like makeup but feel that some makeup artists go a little overboard. Andrea really listened to what look you were going for and made sure that everything was exactly what you wanted. I loved the look from my trial so much and just wanted to go for a slightly more dramatic look for the big day and she made it happen!

Andrea was absolutely amazing, I would recommend her over and over again! I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, so I wasn't sure what I was looking for/asking for for my special day. As I was planning our wedding from out of town, Andrea was accommodating with the trial date, and I knew she'd be great from our initial call. On the wedding day, Andrea and Kara were professional and amazing. All of the party looked absolutely stunning, natural, and elegant. I hope I get to work with these ladies again in the future!

Andrea is the SWEETEST person I have ever met and did such an amazing job with my bridal makeup. The girls and I loved how beautiful she made us feel. Our look was both elegant and natural which is exactly what we wanted. She used her own expertise to create an individual look for everyone, but also was open to any specific features you wanted! She also is a great personal body guard on wedding day! There was no chance anyone was getting a look at me before the ceremony! We had lots of laughs and so glad Andrea was there for my special day!

Andrea and Kara are amazing at what they do. As a bride who doesn't normally wear much makeup, they were able to enhance my natural features and make me feel so beautiful for our wedding day. Our bridal party consisted of older ladies and different skin tones - they were able to make everybody look and feel stunning.

Andrea is incredibly skilled, delightful, and overall a joy to be in her presence. She captured the natural and elegant look I wanted and I felt like the girls and I GLOWED on the big day! I would highly recommend Andrea for anyone looking for this experience.

Andrea was amazing! She is so sweet and bubbly, which really puts you at ease. She did a great job doing my makeup, I did the airbrush, and really made me fee like a princess. This was my second time having my makeup done by Andrea as she was also a vendor for my best friends wedding. She did amazing then and did not disappoint on my special day, both times she made me look amazing. I would recommend her over anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Kara did mine and my bridal party/mom's makeup. She's so wonderful and made us all feel beautiful. I'm super comfortable with a full face of makeup (that's what I wear most days), but my bridesmaids and mother don't usually do more than mascara on normal days... Kara made sure they were comfortable with everything that she was going to do (ex. eyelashes, darker eyeshadow). This is HUGE. Everyone looked amazing, and even after I cried a whole lot that day I swear my makeup didn't budge. I can not thank Kara enough!!!

I highly recommend Shades of Blush for your bridal makeup. Andrea is so sweet and really listens to your vision for your wedding day look. She really took her time during my trial session and made me feel so comfortable. She took notes after my trial so she wasted no time on the morning of my wedding. Andrea and Kara are both so talented and make such a great team. They were on time, organized, cleanly and so easy/fun to work with. Their work is consistent and I highly recommend looking at their work on Instagram. Even though there was 10 of us having our makeup done, they did not make us feel rushed. Andrea made sure I was so happy with my makeup before I put my wedding gown on. She did an incredible job on my airbrush, custom lashes and eyes. She made me feel how every bride should feel on their wedding day! Andrea and Kara made all my bridesmaids and MOB look flawless.My makeup as well as my bridesmaids makeup still looked incredible at the end of the night. SO thankful I chose Shades of Blush!

Andrea (and Kara) were absolutely amazing! Every time I've had my makeup professionally done, I've felt like a clown. Andrea knew how to make me look (and feel) absolutely stunning. I am definitely picky when it comes to hair and makeup, and Andrea and her team exceeded my (and my bridesmaids) expectations!

I don't even know where to begin. Andrea is just simply AMAZING. I truly loved my time spent with her as it felt like I have known her for years while she was doing my makeup. She is extremely personable and made me feel comfortable getting all dolled up! Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but my mom as well. My mom does not typically wear a lot of makeup so she was hesitate to get it done, but I told her how amazing Andrea was and she agreed. Immediately after finishing her make up, my mom understood exactly what I was talking about. She looked FANTASTIC. Andrea is extremely professional and is open and honest with her clients. She recommended that I get a second artist in order to make sure the day was stress free. While I was hesitant at first, I trusted her and she found a second artist for the day. Amanda joined Andrea and its safe to say that both ladies did phenomenal. All of my girls looked flawless. I can't thank Andrea enough for being a big part of our special day. I have never loved my make more before! I felt so beautiful! Andrea was SO easy to work with. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She is such an amazing artist and I am SO SO SO happy I choose her for my big day. My make-up lasted all night. I hate wearing make up and I could barely feel it on me. Shades of blush was amazing! I felt so beautiful on my big day. She was very patient with any questions I had and she has such a kind personality! I wanted a more natural look and she made me feel like I still looked like me but only better!If I could give her 100 stars I would!

Brides beware! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable! I first met Andrea at a bridal show at the Marriott in Lancaster. Each vendor had a raffle where they pulled tickets/names to win a service or product. I won her service, which was makeup for bride and mother of the bride on the wedding day that was valued at $300. I set up two different dates to do a trials, the first one had to be moved due to an emergency Andrea had, which is totally understandable. Then we rescheduled and Andrea had another conflict with the second appointment after it was already set up. This time it was apparently because of a “business meeting.” I was working and in nursing school, so for her to cancel after I found a day that would work for both my mom and myself was very inconvenient. Andrea was never up front about the pricing that we would have to pay for a trial. She never even mentioned it when I scheduled the first trial. I’m guessing we would have just showed up and had our makeup done and she would have said, “Oh by the way you owe me $225”. Yes that is correct, she was going to charge $225 just for a makeup trial. With any makeup artist I expected to pay for a trial, however $225 seemed a bit excessive. She only informed me about the pricing for her trials right before the second trial date. With what we “won” and what the trial would have cost would have totaled $506. The prices that she was emailing me do not match up to what she has listed on her wedding wire page. It seems like we really didn’t win anything at all, and that she increased the price of the trial to try to make some money to cover what was going to be “free” with what we won. Her makeup or skill is nowhere near Hollywood level and the pictures clearly show it. I had emailed her regarding the pricing and she told me that it is this price because the custom lashes “take more time and skill to apply”. Okay understandable. I decided that I did not want to do a trial with the custom lashes and that we would do a trial with just the makeup, so I emailed her asking what the pricing would be for just the makeup without the custom lashes. Her response was “unfortunately I will not be available the day of your wedding.” Three months before our wedding I am scrambling to find a different makeup artist. It was actually a blessing in disguise because the artist I chose to do my wedding was genuine, reliable and very invested in her clients. I wish I could have had a different experience with Shades of Blush Studio, as I was very excited when I won her service. Future brides be very careful when choosing vendors and stay away from the scammers!

Andrea did a wonderful job on my wedding day! My makeup lasted the entire day and I felt so pretty! She is so sweet and makes sure to accentuate things that you love about yourself! 100% recommend!!!

Andrea listened to exactly what I wanted, from my trial to the day of my wedding, and really helped me to find the balance between wanting to look like myself, but also treat myself and feel special. Andrea was amazing to work with! Andrea and her assistant were incredible to work with! I wanted to look like myself and have natural makeup that enhanced my features for my wedding day, and based on her portfolio & Instagram, it seemed like that was Andrea's specialty! On our wedding day, Andrea & her assistant did the makeup looks for myself, my mother, and 4 of my bridesmaids. They arrived early in the morning and stayed on schedule, moving efficiently and giving each girl exactly the look they desired. All of our makeup lasted the entire day - even the false lashes! She also offers very fair pricing, and is such a joy to work with. You can tell she loves what she does! I would absolutely recommend Andrea for your event or wedding makeup.

Andrea and her assistant were absolutely incredible. My trial run and my wedding day makeup looked amazing--and I'm picky. I am not used to wearing a lot of makeup, but our photos came out unbelievable, thanks to Andrea's work! Her prices were GREAT and I didn't feel like I was asking my bridesmaids to break the bank (which you know, everything gets expensive--this was NOT one of those things). All of my ladies and my mom and mother-in-law looked beautiful. Thank you, Andrea!

Andrea is the best!! I first found her through the Wedding Wire website. I had contacted several make-up artists that day and not only was she the quickest one to respond to my inquiry but she also offers fair prices for her services. Working with Andrea was a breeze which was great because so many parts of wedding planning were stressful. She is organized, efficient, thorough, and super talented. The day of my wedding she showed up with a plan. She set up all her supplies and was ready to go on time. We hired her for make-up for 9 girls. In order to get everyone done in the allotted time she brought along a colleague named Kara. They had a schedule, stuck to it, and were able to finish everyone :) I can’t thank them enough! Our make-up looked absolutely AMAZING <3 They explained what they were doing throughout the process and made sure to customize each girls look to match their personal vision. The make-up they applied stayed on all day and looked great even in the final pictures of the night. If you're looking for a make-up artist for any event I HIGHLY recommend Shades of Blush Studio!

Andrea did my makeup for my wedding and OMG it was beautiful!! I was absolutely in love with the makeup look she created for me during the trial and it was even better on my actual wedding day. She was willing to travel over an hour to my wedding venue and was even able to squeeze in an extra bridesmaid's makeup who changed their mind the day of. I have nothing but lovely things to say about Shades of Blush. She is amazing at what she does and is also so sweet and fun to work with! Not only did I feel absolutely beautiful, but I had so many compliments from my wedding guests saying that my makeup was flawless.
