ure to work with. From the initial consultation we had with them, it was clear that they were on top of their game. We had an hour long conversation about what we were looking for, how the day would go, and what photos might be important to us - Shado and Isa brought up many great details and considerations we might have overlooked otherwise. Next was a detailed questionnaire regarding the day and the photos we wanted. Being able to check boxes for specific photo types and being prompted to think about exactly what groupings of photos we wanted was extremely helpful. Finally comes the day of - the two of them showed up to the getting-ready locations on time and ready to go, bringing a relaxed but professional air which made it feel easy and comfortable to be photographed. It didn't feel intrusive at all to have them in our spaces as we got prepared. During the ceremony they were somehow everywhere while being very unobtrusive, it was amazing to look through the photos afterward and see all of the great captures (and wonder how they could have been in 10 places at once!). One of the best parts - we have NEVER seen or been a part of a smoother family/group/couples photos operation right after the ceremony. With Shado shooting and Isabelle directing (she knew everyone's names, never a single 'hey you' and had a detailed shots list based on the questionnaire we had filled out in hand), it was quick and painless. Isabelle handled Maddie's distractable father starting to wander off with tact and humor, and everyone was off to cocktail hour quickly. Couples photos were similarly smooth and enjoyable, and then the two of them wandered and captured many wonderful photos of venue, dinner, and dancing. We got our photos back in 6 weeks and were stunned! They really captured the setting, the people, and the vibe beautifully. Could not be happier with how they all came out, and as an added bonus, the photos were grouped by category (girls getting ready, guys getting ready, wedding parties, couples portraits, etc), avoiding one huge folder with thousands of photos to go through. We had a great time slowly going through one section at a time and reliving our day. 11/10 experience with these two. You'll be psyched to have them on your team--they helped to make our day easy and smooth, added to the joy, and provided us with photos that were better than we could've hoped for.

My wife and I got married at a scenic overlook that was a little complicated to get to, but Isabelle and Shado stayed flexible and everything worked out perfectly. The two of them were a dynamic duo, and captured our special moments from all angles. We will cherish these photos, and I’m so glad they’ll adorn our walls for the rest of our lives as a reminder of this day. One shot of my wedding dress looks like it belongs in Vogue. Isabelle and Shado’s passion for photography shone through all of their work. Even though we were a bit over time after our ceremony and portrait shots, they spotted a field of gorgeous lupines nearby and offered to take photos there, too. Those shots ended up being our favorites. Definitely work with Isabelle and Shado if you want photographers that do their job with love and care.

Their rates are very reasonable, their communication skills are excellent, and they deliver gorgeous photos within a super quick timeline. Their photos are so warm and natural. They seem to capture a human essence in a world of overly filtered and edited shots. My partner and I are both quite introverted, and we were not looking forward to being in front of the camera. I felt they listened to our concerns and were reassuring, and we felt like we had a great team with our photographers. It felt great to feel confident and relaxed during the whole process. Shado and Isabelle initially met with us on the phone to do a vibe check and see if our goals matched their style and approach. When we decided to move forward, we then scheduled our engagement session. It was a good way to get to know them and feel more comfortable. Shado ended up having a schedule conflict, and communicated with plenty of notice to allow us to change the date if needed. While we missed having him there, Isabelle was amazing to work with. The weather ended up being wild and rainy, and she stayed in excellent communication with us in case we needed to change the plan. We decided to go for it, and ended up having a really fun time. The photos captured my vision perfectly and then some. We are thrilled with how they came out. As the wedding approached, they emailed a detailed form that allowed us to describe what shots and family/friend portraits were important to us. We met again on a video call to go over any questions and to finalize the schedule. I even got a lovely text from Isabelle the day before the wedding to check in and send good energy our way. As for the wedding itself, many guests have commented on how fun and vibrant Shado and Isabelle were at the event. They were very professional, but also blended right into the party and felt like invited friends. They were able to organize a rowdy group for portraits, and kept everyone on schedule and organized. When my partner and I felt a little overwhelmed during the cocktail hour, they instantly pivoted and took us to a private area to get more photos of us. It allowed us to catch our breath and return to the party with renewed energy. We also were blessed to have good lighting for sunset shots, and they helped us sneak away to quickly grab some before the party kicked off. It felt wonderful to feel 100% confident in their talent and skill, and my partner and I felt supported from start to finish. hey are the sort of people you just instantly like - very down to earth, generous with their time, but professional and have the portfolio to boot. We spoke at least once more to review our general vibe and photo list. As we were new to the process, they even provided example photo lists. As they had another wedding that weekend, Isabelle worked solo - I am sure Shado is wonderful as well but we didn't miss him!  We had decided not to do separate first look photos or formal getting ready shots (apart from a few of the bride) as we wanted the first look to be at the ceremony. She captured everything so beautifully. Based on her photos, she somehow was everywhere at once. Her personality fit right in with our guests - many of whom mentioned how great she was afterwards - rather than standing on the sidelines or interrupting our friends having fun. We had been anxious as my brothers in law aren't keen on posed photos, but she made it as painless - and even fun - as possible. Just a few days later she sent our highlights - perfectly chosen! Followed by the full set 4 weeks later. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (at half the price of my sister's wedding earlier that year!). Though I don't expect we will have any big events in the near future, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Isabelle and Shado again.

I immediately reached out, expecting to wait a few days for a response but within minutes I had received the most thoughtful and caring response, one that addressed each of the questions I had asked and also made me feel like we were already old friends. In that moment I knew we found a true diamond in the rough. We coordinated a few phone calls to align on our photography needs and quickly got to know each other, couple to couple (one of my favorite aspects of the process was the "homework" they assigned, for my now husband and I to each share 3 things we love about one another). Throughout the entire process they were prompt and available. We had our complimentary engagement session that came with our package, and they blew us away with those photos. s, and the we had so much fun with Shado at our engagement shoot. BEST decision we made, and we got complements from guests about them the whole night! They made portraits go quickly so we could get back to mingling (Issa is just the right amount of assertive to get those chatty family members wrangled up and in position) and they captured EVERY little spontaneous interaction so that we have photographs to remember each beautiful, organic moment instead of all generic, posed photos. Even though it was a gloomy rainy day, all of the colors are vibrant and they made us look so good. On top of all of that, they were extremely professional and got photos back to us very quickly (a couple days after the wedding they delivered a sneak peak!) They brought a very fun and calming presence to our wedding day so that we didn’t feel stressed out even though we were running behind (our fault) and it started raining last minute. chose a team that had an artistic eye and could deliver some really amazing photos. We were excited about candids in particular- not really being as into stiff portraits. We truly could not be more thrilled with our choice of Isa & Shado. We have received so many comments from family and friends that they are the best wedding photos they’ve seen. They captured everything so beautifully, from our First Look on the rocky beach, to sparkler fun with our family at the end of the night, and everything in-between. We got amazing sneak peeks the next day, and I’m still impressed with how quickly we got the rest of our photos. We hired Isabelle and Shado to shoot our engagement photos in NYC and attend and photograph our “night before” event and wedding day in the Catskills. In each case, we received a surprise sneak peek sampling of photos within a couple of days. Less than a month later, we received an organized and generously full album of edited images, each more beautiful than the next. Isabelle and Shado are true artists who have mastered the ability to capture the most joyous and genuine emotions. In the months leading up to our engagement shoot and wedding, we spoke with Isabelle and Shado several times. They encouraged us to share shot lists, sample pictures, etc. and were incredibly receptive to our requests. My husband does not love taking pictures, and I shared with them that we didn’t want anything too staged or inorganic, as that’s not our style. They thoroughly understood, gave us gentle guidance, posed us in ways where we looked like the best and most natural version of ourselves, and captured tons of candids, which was very important to us. My husband and I have HUGE smiles in every picture! We loved our engagement photos so much that we used them to create our wedding guestbook - this was a huge hit! On our wedding day, between the staged group photos with friends and family, and the candids throughout, Isabelle and Shado captured everyone’s hearts. They handled every single interaction with grace, endless patience, good humor, and, of course, exquisite skill.
