First impressions....
If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue that will “wow” your guests, Paradise Falls is the place! From the moment you walk onto the premise, you wil...
l see all the lush greenery and hanging tree lights. Any spot will make for picturesque photos- day or night. Aside from a lot of other outdoor venues, there are plenty of trees to provide shade for your guests (if you are getting married in the Summer this is a huge plus) and the grass is artificial so it's perfectly green all year round and nobody’s heels will get stuck!
Perks...
They provide a bride and groom suite a few hours before the wedding to get ready in that are air conditioned, clean, and newly decorated. There’s plenty of parking spaces and bathroom stalls for your guests. If you have elderly relatives with low mobility or anyone who is physically disabled, no need to worry! Every part of the venue is easily accessible.
Ultimately why we chose Paradise Falls...
A lot of wedding venues make you pay a price per head for alcohol consumption, but Paradise Falls allows you to BYOB. Yes! That’s right!!! This was so great for us because we didn’t have a ton of guests that drank and allowed us to purchase and provide alcohol based on consumption.
Best Day Of Coordinator goes to...
NANCY!!! We did not get to pick her, she was assigned to us, but she was a dream come true! She was knowledgeable, quick to respond, accommodating, calm, efficient, and just about the sweetest person ever. From our bridal party and guests, we received so many compliments on how she was one of the best day of coordinators they have ever seen or experienced. We couldn’t have agreed anymore! If you decide to go with Paradise Falls and get Nancy, count yourselves lucky and rest assured for the best wedding day ever!
I want to be fair when writing this review because I feel that it is important to know what this venue can offer and what it needs to improve on.
The Planning Process:
Working wi...
th the wedding planners was difficult. At first I was assigned a planner and there were no updates given to me about the process or the coordination of things. The only time I was contacted was when they were requesting a payment. There was little to no communication during this process. About 2 months before my wedding I was told that my planner was no longer with the company. Yikes! Honestly this was the most stressful thing to hear because we payed for a service and there was no communication regarding this issue until after I called. I explained my concerns and was assigned another planner. Things went much faster, however, what would have happened if I hadn't called? At one point, I even had to cc the Director of Operations just to get any answers. If customers are paying for a service that was said would be provided it's important to provide the service timely and efficiently.
Management:
The Dir. of Operations was in my opinion quite rude and I think others in the reviews have expressed their concerns. When I contacted her it felt almost as if I was bothering her, which is unprofessional. I do want to point out that any concern that I had was resolved quickly each time so I was appreciative of that but given that this is a customer service agency, there should be a more welcoming attitude especially from the Director who is the one that represents that agency.
Rehearsal:
Amanda Eggers was absolutely amazing. Amanda went above and beyond any of my expectations. She created a very detailed schedule for me so that I could review and go over to make sure everything was how I wanted it. She was very flexible and accommodating to all my request and at some point she even became an advocate for my needs during the planning process.
Wedding Day:
Amanda was pivotal in the success of our special day. I actually went to the venue before the ceremony to make sure everything was in order and Amanda was working hard making sure that everything I wanted was getting set on the tables and in the isles. She literally was sweating! To me this showed how hard she was working and how much she loved doing it. Amanda was ready for everything during the day! She kept me on schedule and there was constant communication between us. She knew what I wanted and made it happen. Amanda helped me with my dress, helped me with my shoes when I was dancing, and I even have a picture of her holding me steady while standing on a chair ready to throw my bouquet. I mean she is what I call a REAL WEDDING PLANNER! My parents, my in-laws, and all of our family told me how amazing, kind, and caring of a person she was and that they appreciated everything and all she did for us that day. Paradise Falls is lucky to have had her, otherwise, this review would have been completely different. Amanda, I cannot express how amazing and wonderful you were to everyone that day and your efforts made for a dreamy wedding, and for that I am so thankful. I could go on but i'll stop now. A very big thanks from all my family to you Amanda!
Reception/Venue/Food:
FANTASTIC! Five Stars! They don't lie about the food!
Staff:
All the day-of staff (servers, set up crew, etc...) were amazing and hard working!
Overall our wedding day was beautiful and amazing and I will forever remember it.
This place is the most beautiful setting, and my daughter had the wedding day of her dreams here on 9/21/2019. We had a few bumps in the road during the planning, but Lynne really ...
worked hard with us to ensure my daughter's day would live up to her expectations. Golden was our day-of coordinator and was fantastic! Our guests had a wonderful time, and were blown away by the beauty/magical feel of this setting.
Paradise Falls is an absolutely magical venue! It is very unique and while it is very beautiful during the daytime, it transforms in the evening with all of the beautiful lights. O...
ut wedding day went perfectly with no issues occurring. We received numerous compliments regarding the venue from our guests about how special it was. Not only is it beautiful but the layout of the space is great as well -- it is large enough to have multiple areas for guests to hang out: by the bar, at their tables, dance floor, photo booth, lawn game area, cocktail tables. Additionally Lynn, the director is great to work with. The food vendor was FANTASTIC with the food tasting exactly like it tasted during our private tasting. Everything was on-time the day of and the venue worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. Could not recommend more. If you want a magical and unique wedding venue this is the spot.
My son and his beautiful bride got married on Friday 6/28 at 6:00 pm and it was absolute splendor! The feedback that I received from the wedding party and guests was that the wedd...
ing & reception were lovely, special and memorable and that the venue was enchanting. This is not to say that it was perfect in the planning stages. We did get assigned to a different coordinator at the beginning that did not spark joy at all and we were able to get a different person who was fantastic! (Golden lived up to her name!) I can't say enough about how remarkable she was. The venue worked with us and were pretty accommodating to our specific needs. We were able to drop off the decor the day before so that we could be there the morning of to decorate and take our time. We did not have any lost items and everything was stored safely and organized well. The cottages were helpful and fun and the wedding party really enjoyed spending that special time together. We had 8 on each side so it was a full house! The staff before, during and after the wedding were very helpful and nice. The food was plentiful and delicious! The garden and grounds were gorgeous that evening and we had perfect weather but it is nice to know that there is an inside option. Both Bride and Groom were extremely pleased and thankful for such a splendid and magical wedding event. Thank you for your magic Golden !
I was a guest at an event at Paradise Falls which was as beautiful as the description on the website. The quality of the food was quite good and if not for the palpable hostility o...
f the event staff, I’d definitely recommend. Unfortunately, my experience was soured by observing unsavory interactions among staff, including refusal to serve drinks from the open bar as per the instructions of the wedding coordinator, Nancy. Step up your customer service game.
This venue was SO BEAUTIFUL for our wedding!!!!! We had a fairly short engagement - about 4-5 months - and all staff from Paradise Falls made things so easy for us. We've been gett...
ing compliments left and right about how amazing and magical this venue was. I could not have asked for a more perfect place!!!! And the food was AMAZING - the guests couldn't stop talking about it. The day-of coordinator Stacy did a great job at keeping everything on time and in order. She would keep me informed throughout the night without being overbearing, and would always ask what we wanted. I can't say enough nice things about my whole experience with Paradise Falls! It was easily customizable and we were able to make our ceremony and reception just how we wanted it. Thank you so much to everyone here who helped make this the most perfect day of my life - especially Lynne, Stacy, and Victoria.
Paradise Falls made our wedding a dream come true. After our wedding my grandma said "If I ever get married in a future life, I want it to be at Paradise Falls." Everything looked ...
so beautiful here and it didn't require hardly any decorations. Using Paradise falls for our wedding took so much stress out of planning and working with Lynn and Nancy was amazing. Nancy was an incredible day of coordinator. I truly didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding and it made for the perfect, stress free day.
The lack of hospitality and patience in these people who are supposed to make your wedding day a breeze for the amount you pay, was nonexistent. As a hospitality professional mysel...
f I understand that the experience starts with the staff and is what builds your business, and your reputation. My wedding day was way more stressful than it needed to be. Let me say that Helen, my day of coordinator was great. She however is contracted through Paradise Falls and doesn't actually work for them. She was incredible and made sure everything was exactly where it needed to be and done correctly. She was very kind and patient. However, the rest of the staff were very unprofessional and hostile. Alice, one of the coordinators who I worked with for the first few months of my planning, became an absolute nightmare. My wedding was on a Friday, rehearsal on a Thursday and they had been closed Tuesday and Wednesday which gave me no time to go over final details as there was nobody around to return an email, or a phone call. On the Thursday of my rehearsal Alice made me very uncomfortable and even more stressed than needed by making comments like "you have 20 minutes to make this happen otherwise you're gonna start paying $100 an hour for me to stick around" from the next room over. SO PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL. My actual wedding day I show up with Flowers and asked her where I should put them she said to me, "I'm not dealing with that. That's a 'you' thing" I'm sorry but if I'm paying THOUSANDS of dollars to hold an event here you better make it a YOU thing to figure it out and make it happen. Later on, my uncle came to drop off something for my ceremony and Sheila I believe her name was made him feel so uncomfortable as a guest by A. "Are you kidding me? Did they just add this on or was this already scheduled? This is ridiculous" and B. Later coming up to him during the reception and saying she couldn't serve him because he was a vendor??? Another thing, our photographer was a great friend of ours who we offered some of our wedding cake to and she was told she wasn't allowed to eat it because she's a vendor and not a guest. When I made it clear she was a friend of ours. This place will try to nickel and dime you. Everything is an extra cost, doesn't matter what it is. I swear to god you could ask for a tissue and they are asking for $250 for it. Also there are ants EVERYWHERE!! I'm not exaggerating. I went to put on my wedding dress and there was a trail of red ants inside of it. Once my husband and I were done eating at our reception there was a crazy amount of ants all over our sweetheart table and in our wine. Sure, the venue it self is beautiful. Stunning and makes for beautiful photos but you're better off going to another venue, spending the same amount and maybe less for a way better experience. I would not recommend this poorly ran, hostile and unprofessional environment.
Paradise Falls is the most beautiful venue I have seen. Every time I went there I felt like I am in my own slice of paradise. I got married there this July 2018 and the venue excee...
ded my expectation. The grounds are so pretty and well designed, my guests are still complimenting me on the wedding and asking me how I found that venue. We had all wedding outdoor and it created very spacious and open feel to the event. The staff is very organized, courteous and professional. Our day of coordinator Kendra was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond her duties to make my day special and keep me happy and stress free. She handled all the vendors and kept us on track through the night. Everything run smoothly and right on schedule. Weddings are expansive in general, but in comparison with other venues I have visited, Paradise Falls was most financially reasonable, accommodating to my needs and friendly to deal with. I definitely feel that I got my money worth and I look back at my wedding day as the best day of my life!
Amazing!
Can't even begin to explain how much we loved our wedding on 11/11/17 at Paradise Falls. From booking to all of the planning meetings in between, all of the employees were so help...
ful and guided us along the way. The wedding turned out to be the wedding of our dreams. How many people can say not one thing went wrong on their wedding day?! From the decor, to the food, to all of the amazing areas around the venue for photos, we LOVE all things Paradise Falls!
We looked at so many venues and finally came across Paradise Falls and were very happy we did. My husband and I were looking for the outdoor, garden feeling. The problem we constan...
tly ran across was the venues we were looking at had no back up plan if it rained. Our wedding was in April and we did not want to risk having our wedding at a venue that did not have a back-up plan. Paradise Falls offered a beautiful outdoor area and an equally beautiful tented area. From start to finish, the staff was extremely helpful with helping coordinate and plan our wedding. The venue was picture perfect and we received numerous compliments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. Food and drinks were delicious too! My only negative feedback was that when we signed the contract we had 125 guests, a couple weeks before the wedding we confirmed 110 guests, but still had to pay for 125 guests. Other than that the venue and staff were amazing and we would not have chosen any other place to get married.
Please SAVE YOURSELF from heartbreak, and book somewhere else! The only thing this place has going for it, is the beauty of the grounds, but YOUR SPECIAL DAY is about so much more....
You want the guests to have a great time, and to be able to know that you can count on the staff. Our guests were served COLD FOOD, they had to FIND THE STAFF to ask for the refills that were supposed to be "included." They start KICKING EVERYONE out 30 minutes BEFORE your time is up, because the staff wants to go home. I even paid an extra $800 for an extra hour, WITHOUT THAT ... there would have LITERALLY been no time to dance. This place was so disappointing, they PROMISE so many things to get you to book and they CAN'T DELIVER. The "day of coordinator" that is supposedly included is actually a glorified catering mgr, and she couldn't even get that right. My VENDORS WERE SO CONFUSED. She did not keep us on a schedule, and my mom ended up doing all the work to keep everyone on track. They NEVER returned my CALLS or EMAILS about my disappointment. WHY WOULD THEY?!! They already have the MONEY< and THERE ARE NO DO OVERS. Seriously, SAVE YOURSELF!! There are so many other beautiful venues out there. Give your money to a place that can deliver.
I don't even remember now how we came across Paradise Falls but we set up an appointment to view the property and were sold immediately. We cancelled our other venue appointments a...
nd signed the contract within a week. It really is Paradise and it's like your own little world. With only 1 wedding a day, they truly care about each couple's day. From the very beginning, they were so easy to get a hold of with questions. We had multiple planning meetings that set everyone's heart at ease. Everyone on their team is a dream to work with. From Julianne at all of our planning meetings, Lynne helped make our bar and menu perfect, and Tricia was the absolute best day of coordinator when it came to the details we wanted and helping our vision become a reality.
All of our guests raved about what a gorgeous property it was and how GOOD the food was! One added bonus is that you have an option of an indoor or an outdoor reception. They easily have one of the most gorgeous tent reception spaces in So Cal but it is also nice to have that backup plan if you have dreamed of an outdoor wedding, like we did. The market lighting makes for such a gorgeous ambiance on the lawn.
It was so convenient to bring all of our decorations to the rehearsal the day before so that we did not have to deal with that on the wedding day. We were able to get there at 830am wedding day to start getting ready in their gorgeous bridal suite. They also have a grooms suite which is PERFECT because this is so rare that a venue has a space for the guys! It is across the property and easy to keep the two parties separate until the ceremony.
I can't say enough great things about this venue. For me, it was a complete dream come true & I would recommend it to everyone. Everything from the gorgeous property, down to the amazing team, will make your day perfect at Paradise!
From start to finish, Paradise Falls provided excellent service, fast responses to any issues, hands on help with planning and questions, first rate staff, I could go on and on!! J...
ulianne Pappert was our event coordinator and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful she was. I must have made a gazillion changes and she never batted and eye or made me feel bad. She was amazing at helping me find just the right look for our wedding and she was always cheerful. Our day of coordinator was AMAZING, there was a last minute change of coordinators and she stepped in like she had known the details of our wedding since the planning stages (I really wish I could remember her name, but I JUST can't remember). We had several guests comment that it was one of the prettiest venues that had seen and and the fairly lights just made it magical. I would recommend to anyone looking at an outdoor venue for their wedding that they look at Paradise Falls!!!
