Unfortunately, my experience with this photographer was very disappointing. He came highly recommended by a makeup artist I have worked with for over 10 years, so I was excited to ...
book him for my 10-year anniversary photos.
I scheduled the shoot two months in advance and paid according to the terms of his agreement. In our initial communication, he stated that he typically scouts locations based on the look the client envisions. After booking, however, communication was minimal. About a week before the shoot, I reached out to confirm that we were still on schedule and to ask if there was anything needed from me. He replied that everything was set.
The evening before the shoot, I realized that I had only been given a time but no location. When I reached out again, the situation quickly became frustrating. Instead of providing clear information or taking responsibility, I received multiple excuses about a family illness and being busy with a wedding. He also attempted to say that I was responsible for finding an indoor location, despite having an email where he clearly states that he scouts locations himself.
As a result, the photo session never happened. By that point, I had already paid for professional hair and makeup and rented a tuxedo for my husband specifically for the shoot. While he offered to refund the cost of the session and the makeup, he refused to reimburse the tuxedo rental, stating that my husband could simply wear it elsewhere—which defeats the purpose of renting it specifically for the photo shoot. Although I was offered a refund in March, the same month as the photo shoot, I never received it. As a result, I had to dispute the charge with my bank, and the refund was ultimately issued in June.
Another concern I noticed was that he asked for my social media handle early on, which in hindsight made me feel like the level of service may depend on a client’s social media following. From what I observed on his page, the most effort appears to go toward clients with large online audiences.
Overall, the lack of preparation, accountability, and communication made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend booking him for an important occasion
This was a very disappointing experience. Like someone else said, if you are not ig famous or a celebrity, don’t book this service.
On the wedding day, he was nice and I thought r...

Communication is horrible. My pictures did not have the quality that is seen online, which is why they were never posted. We were not posed. He did not ask what my vision was. I never even received the picture. He’s always “busy” because he has “100s of text messages”
Really disappointed as his portfolio is amazing.

ures but working with Shagari was both relaxing, reassuring & fun! You don’t even have to think, he’ll catch raw, tender moments & ensure that you get the usual wedding shots as well. He and Ethan worked almost incognito. They blended in with our guest and even had some fun with us. Mosaic by MG captured beautiful, authentic & candid moments that we will forever treasure❤️📸 We will definitely work with them in the future for our annual family & holiday photos as well as other life milestones & celebrations. We’ve found our forever photographer!
I couldn’t be happier with our wedding and engagement photos done by Mosaic by MG!
We had a few ideas for our engagement photos - one of which included being in the middle of a b...
ridge during rush hour. I was concerned about proposing it, but Shagari was so excited to capture the photos and did so perfectly! Our photos were featured by a few publications because they were stunning!!
Our wedding photos always take me right back to our wedding date because every single moment was captured. Our ceremony was a bit challenging because my husband and I stood in the middle and were encircled by our guests. The entire Mosaic by MG team worked together to get every moment and angle so beautifully!! On top of it, my entire bridal party mentioned how kind and on top of it the photography team was.
The icing on the cake was really the turnaround time on our edited photos and our wedding album! Again the attention to detail and quality shines and the photos speak for themselves.
Finally, wedding planning can be so stressful so it’s really important to find a vendor you trust and are comfortable with. We really found that with Mosaic by MG. We’ve recommended them to so many of our friends and have already reserved them as our forever photographer for our future life events!
I found Shagari on IG after an EXTENSIVE search for the perfect wedding photographer. I had a nighttime wedding and I was extremely picky about who I wanted to capture my wedding. ...
(Because not everyone can photograph well at night)
I was so happy when I found Shagari! Not only was he and his team very prompt and professional, our photos came out beautiful.
His knowledge of photography, professionalism and attention to detail is so calming. At the end of the night, I didn’t have to worry about or question the quality of my photographs, because he leaves no room for doubt with his impeccable service.
We received the photos early and there was a shot for everything. He left no stone unturned. If you’re looking for a skilled, well versed and personable photographer, who has an clear eye for the shot, I highly recommend Shagari.

photographer was prompt and professional and easy to work with. Choosing Mosaic by MG was one of the best decisions I think I could have made and i’m a bit of a perfectionist! I spent hours researching photographers and Shagari’s work spoke for itself. Looking forward to cherishing our wedding photo’s forever.
Where can I begin! Mosaic by MG executed the photography needs for our wedding in the most professional manner possible. Needless to say the owner Shagari is very forward thinking ...
and does his best to bring a sense of lightness to the photo taking process. Initially my wife discovered Mosaic via Instagram and booked his services for a bachelorette weekend she was organizing for her friend. Shagari did such an amazing job, it was no surprise when she choose him to be our wedding photographer. What I was impressed with the most, is that Shagari is an agile photographer. He moves with the flow of the wedding, in a manner so good that you almost forgets he's there. Additionally, he provides a set of expedited photographs for you to review and share until the final editing process is completed. Shortly after our wedding, Shagari provided us with close to 150 photos. This definitely takes the edge off while waiting for the rest of the photos. Needless to say, if you need photography, I highly recommend Mosaic. For your wedding needs, your love will be captured beautifully!

on one of his wedding photos and said “when my time comes you’ll be my wedding photographer,” fast forward to current day and it really happened! Shagari flew all the way to Newport Beach, CA from New Orleans to make my day extra special. He arrived on time to shoot myself and my bridesmaids getting ready. Wedding day was the first day we met in person and he came into the home and fit right in with my friends and I like we all went to school together for years! After the amazing getting ready photos we met for our first look shoot.. by far the best photos of the night. Shagari was mindful of the time, heat and every angle he took of us! Next up wedding photos, for only one photographer he was able to capture everything! Again he was very mindful of the perfect angles and captured the beauty of the ceremony. He captured our family/wedding party in a timely manner so we could start the reception. Now time for the party.. he fit right in with our family and friends and took photos of all our guest having a blast. The number one thing I loved most working with our photographer was how comfortable he made us and our guest feel in front of the camera. We received our photos on time and we were blown away by the detail and the quality of the photos. I will contact Mosaic by MG again for every life event I need a photographer for! If you are looking for an amazing, professional, affordable and well versed wedding photographer... well here you go! I wish I could give 10 stars!

Working with Shagari of Mosaic by MG was an incredibly beautiful experience. He is punctual, detailed, focused and professional. As a wedding planner, these aforementioned virtues...
are important when recommending or approving a vendor.
He delivered absolutely stunning images within a week of the wedding and the client is so elated and happy with the sneak peeks she actually text me from her honeymoon about her happy she is to relive her wedding day again through pictures. I remember coaching the couple on how to cut their wedding cake and I remember Shagari saying, "Mimi, don't worry, I will remind them before I take shots." I thought, "wow, how refreshing to work with an attentive and helpful Photographer."
He is a true creative with a detailed eye to capture moments from an unexpected view. He is fast and strong. I remember seeing him run with the flash and umbrella lights to catch the fairy tale horse carriage exit and I was just blown away at his thinking. It was a great blessing working with Mosaic and have added them to my top 3 photographers for client recommendation.
Brides, please do yourself a favor and book Mosaic because he is patient, understanding and a visionary who takes the time to understand your personality, your vision and your style. Wedding Planners, put Mosaic on your list because her even attends rehearsal (hahaha). If this doesn't show you how committed and dedicated he is at making sure he captures the entire detail, I don't know what else will.
Shagari is an awesome photographer! He made us feel absolutely comfortable and made sure we still enjoy our moments during our wedding. He is professional, punctual, and friendly. ...
My wedding was two weeks ago and shagari sent me sneak peeks of the wedding pictures, one word to describe them would be beautiful! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of a photographer.

He was very intuned to what was going on and made sure that every special moment was captured. I highly recommend mosaicbymg. Throughout our entire wedding experience Shagari has created remarkable memories through his work. Our engagement photos were featured on Munaluchi Bridal’s website. My bridal session photos were exceptionally beautiful even after receiving them one week later. Shagari dedication to craft is impeccable. ari a few years back (2014) through social media and booked him for my maternity shoot. All I can remember is how much he made me laugh and how comfortable he made me feel during that session. He directed very well and my pictures came out amazing. Out of all the photographers I’ve booked since then, Shagari stood out from the rest. From then on I always said if I were to ever get married I wanted him to do my wedding. The time came and I booked him for my engagements, bridals, & wedding day with no hesitation. Each time he succeeded my expectations. Pictures were FLAWLESS!! I receive a NUMEROUS amount of compliments each time I share them on social media. He’s always very responsive. Not once did I have to worry about him not responding or not receiving any of my pictures. He’s very professional, efficient, always on time, and not to mention his awesome personality! He exudes a rare passion for his work, running around trying to find the perfect spot for natural lighting and getting in the craziest positions just to get the right angle. Not many photographers will go as hard as him or has the same standard as him. He’s the first photographer I would recommend to anyone asking and that will never change. I urge you to book him 1000%. Thank you Shagari!!!
December 2017 my best friend had gotten engaged and before she was able to search for wedding photographers I knew without a doubt Shagari was perfect for the job! I showed her som...
e of his work and she was amazed. I contacted him by email on behalf of my friend to find out his availability and to my surprise he was available the dates she had in mind. Once she decided on a date we both went to his office for a consultation to discuss the details of the wedding and his policies. He was very organized and extremely professional! On the day of the engagement shoot he went above and beyond to make sure his client's vision came to life. Shagari was able to get the photography fee waived at the venue he used for the engagement shoot and he even had a Harley Davidson motorbike available as a prop! What amazed me most was the effort he displayed in making sure he captured the perfect shot...even if that meant lying on concrete dressed in a suit. The passion he has for is craft is definitely displayed in his work. Fast forward to the day of the wedding - the bride and groom did first look pictures and with very little direction from the bride, Shagari was able to find locations that would compliment her wedding dress. He is incredibly talented and has an eye for things the average person will probably never catch. From the ceremony to the reception, Shagari was very alert and able to capture the most precious moments!
Mosaic was phenomenal!!! Shagari and his team were very professional and managed to capture the essence of our entire wedding weekend. He got to our destination before us, scouted...
the lay of the land and was prepared to wow us with his art. They shot our welcome party, day at the beach , wedding, reception and some family portraits as well. Not only did he take great pictures, he was extremely personable with the entire wedding group, allowing us all to open up for some really good candid shots. His team's attention to detail and ability to take our photographic desires and turn them into illustrious images was second to none.
After the all the dust settled, he was in constant communication, giving us updates about our pictures, sending some edited shots that we requested early and sending some teasers too.
Then we got the final product and we were blown away. He had to have taken over 50 thousand photos that weekend, because we got a lot of high quality shots I didn't know I was capable of. They were fun, sexy and elegant all at the same time. I didn't know he was capturing so much, but he definitely had it all. My wife and I are thankful and appreciative of his work. Thanks
Very professional and punctual. Shagari was responsive and captured the pictures that matched our vision.
