book him for my 10-year anniversary photos.
I scheduled the shoot two months in advance and paid according to the terms of his agreement. In our initial communication, he stated that he typically scouts locations based on the look the client envisions. After booking, however, communication was minimal. About a week before the shoot, I reached out to confirm that we were still on schedule and to ask if there was anything needed from me. He replied that everything was set.
The evening before the shoot, I realized that I had only been given a time but no location. When I reached out again, the situation quickly became frustrating. Instead of providing clear information or taking responsibility, I received multiple excuses about a family illness and being busy with a wedding. He also attempted to say that I was responsible for finding an indoor location, despite having an email where he clearly states that he scouts locations himself.
As a result, the photo session never happened. By that point, I had already paid for professional hair and makeup and rented a tuxedo for my husband specifically for the shoot. While he offered to refund the cost of the session and the makeup, he refused to reimburse the tuxedo rental, stating that my husband could simply wear it elsewhere—which defeats the purpose of renting it specifically for the photo shoot. Although I was offered a refund in March, the same month as the photo shoot, I never received it. As a result, I had to dispute the charge with my bank, and the refund was ultimately issued in June.
Another concern I noticed was that he asked for my social media handle early on, which in hindsight made me feel like the level of service may depend on a client’s social media following. From what I observed on his page, the most effort appears to go toward clients with large online audiences.
Overall, the lack of preparation, accountability, and communication made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend booking him for an important occasion

He delivered absolutely stunning images within a week of the wedding and the client is so elated and happy with the sneak peeks she actually text me from her honeymoon about her happy she is to relive her wedding day again through pictures. I remember coaching the couple on how to cut their wedding cake and I remember Shagari saying, "Mimi, don't worry, I will remind them before I take shots." I thought, "wow, how refreshing to work with an attentive and helpful Photographer."
He is a true creative with a detailed eye to capture moments from an unexpected view. He is fast and strong. I remember seeing him run with the flash and umbrella lights to catch the fairy tale horse carriage exit and I was just blown away at his thinking. It was a great blessing working with Mosaic and have added them to my top 3 photographers for client recommendation.

He directed very well and my pictures came out amazing. Out of all the photographers I’ve booked since then, Shagari stood out from the rest. Once she decided on a date we both went to his office for a consultation to discuss the details of the wedding and his policies. He was very organized and extremely professional! On the day of the engagement shoot he went above and beyond to make sure his client's vision came to life. Shagari was able to get the photography fee waived at the venue he used for the engagement shoot and he even had a Harley Davidson motorbike available as a prop! What amazed me most was the effort he displayed in making sure he captured the perfect shot...even if that meant lying on concrete dressed in a suit. The passion he has for is craft is definitely displayed in his work. Fast forward to the day of the wedding - the bride and groom did first look pictures and with very little direction from the bride, Shagari was able to find locations that would compliment her wedding dress. After the all the dust settled, he was in constant communication, giving us updates about our pictures, sending some edited shots that we requested early and sending some teasers too.
Then we got the final product and we were blown away. He had to have taken over 50 thousand photos that weekend, because we got a lot of high quality shots I didn't know I was capable of. They were fun, sexy and elegant all at the same time. I didn't know he was capturing so much, but he definitely had it all. My wife and I are thankful and appreciative of his work. Thanks
