About this vendor
Shahla Karimi jewelry captures the deep-seated longing human beings have to embrace and express their memories. The work distills beauty from the ordinary, featuring duality and a sense of nostalgia. Each form inspired by the art and architecture from a time past.
The 2023 collections have a golden thread: SOHO, New York. The Aether capsule was inspired by the architectural details; the Soho Bridal Series by the visceral energy; and the debut men’s collection, JOON, by the individualistic people. The deco futuristic collections alchemize cast-iron into precious metals and diamonds. Every piece is hand-made using reclaimed metals and conflict-free stones.
Shahla Karimi has adorned the hands and ears of Reese Witherspoon, Kacey Musgraves, Gigi Hadid, Carrie Underwood, Olivia Palermo, Lucy Hale, Elisabeth Moss, and Vanessa Hudgens. The brand has been featured in publications, including Vogue, W, Architectural Digest, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, National Jeweler, Forbes, WWD, Brides, and JCK Magazine.

Shahla and the entire team are truly a pleasure to work with. In addition to loving the ring that my fiance and I chose together, we loved working with the entire staff. Everyone w...
as patient, helpful, responsive, and genuinely nice throughout the process. I can't say enough good things. 100% recommend Shahla Karimi!
I have been in love with Shahla Karimi and her designs since I was given a very special ring from her Derby collection. Since then I had an eternity band made by her which I absolu...
tely love but what’s even better is working with Shahla and her staff! They love what they do and pay attention to detail. The craftsmanship and quality is above all else. Can’t wait to purchase more of her designs in the future.
I truly can’t say enough great things about my experience with Shahla. I made my inquiry to her about a twenty year anniversary ring just as the COVID pandemic was starting. The w...
orld was changing as we talked jewelry. We kept reassuring each other - which was very grounding during such uncertain times. The process from start to finish was beyond what I expected. Our first Zoom meeting stared with a question about my family and my 20 year marriage which then lead to an inspirational design. A stunning new three stone ring with an amazing marquise with trillion side stones along with a morse code band with the initials of my 4 girls.
It is perfection!!! I highly recommend Shahla to design something special for you. You will adore her and LOVE your next piece of jewelry.
Since discovering the Subway Series rings, I’ve been a huge fan of Shahka Karimi’s jewelry.
I find her designs to be the perfect balance between unique and striking statement piece...
s, and classy and minimalistic design.
For our civil ceremony I ordered the Chrysler hoop studs, the Chrysler studs and Chrysler ring. I also had the joy of working with Shahla on designing an matching dangle that could be worn with either of the studs (or any earrings with backs). Then entire experience was amazing. And despite the lockdown, Shahla made sure the pieces were made, that I got them in time for the wedding, and that everything was exactly as I’d imagined.
I can’t thank you and the team enough for being so wonderful!
Now we’re legally married, I’ve put them all away again, as I’m saving them for our big wedding celebrations next year!
I received two rings for my 40th anniversary and LOVE them! I got the unique horseshoe design in rose gold with diamonds and the morse code M in gold with diamonds. They look amaz...
ing stacked and I have received many compliments. I couldn't be happier!
got 2 custom pieces from Shahla and both are beautiful and oh so special. had a wonderful time collaborating with Shahla and Emma. i thought the pricing was reasonable as well!
I’m not one for writing reviews so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Easy to work with. Super collaborative and helpful (I know nothing about jewelry and they were super help...
ful here). Speedy turn around. Made me feel comfortable with my purchase. My fiancé loved the ring. 10/10 would use again.
Shahla is a dream. She made my engagement ring and my husband's and my wedding rings. A few reasons why Shahla is the best in town:
1. She is on top of her sh*t. She is organized,...
the best kind of perfectionist, and someone we could always rely on. If there is ever an issue, she will go above and beyond to make it right
2. She is a lovely person. She's collaborative, honest, has great taste (duh), and helps you figure out the best style for you with thoughtful, helpful feedback
3. Her jewelry is gorgeous. And she's willing to customize everything from you buying your own diamond to tweaking an existing style to making something completely new. She will do whatever it takes to create the ring you want
4. Given the quality, service provided, and incredible style of her jewelry, her prices are very reasonable. We shopped around to dozens of stores and she was by far the best combo of price, craftsmanship, and aesthetics
Beautiful craftsmanship, impressive custom designs and excellent to work with!
Shahla must be the diamond district’s best kept secret. I’ve had endless compliments about my engagement ring, it’s different yet classic all at the same time. Shahla herself is a ...
total pleasure, she makes you feel special whilst also being super fun. I can’t stop talking to my friends about her designs. How many people get to meet the person who designed their rings... We of course went back to Shahla for our wedding rings and the finish of them is second to none, you really can tell that Shahla carefully controls the whole process and, despite being overseas, we totally trusted her to craft the rings we will wear forever. Still not over it...
I was super intimidated when I started the search for an engagement ring. From the very start, Shahla was empathetic, knowledgeable, had a fantastic eye, and was not afraid to give...
honest and expert feedback. It's a cliche but in this case it's true: I would recommend working with her in a heartbeat.
The ring was gorgeous. We worked together to create a custom, two-pear ring and she was in constant contact with sketches, models, etc.
All in all: A+++
I wanted to share how much I love my engagement ring! At my partners request I had picked out the ring myself, sight unseen, since I live in Boston. Understandably I was a bit uns...
ure of how it would all turn out, it’s a large purchase to buy online. Shahla Karimi was so helpful throughout the entire process. She responded quickly to my emails and included very helpful and detailed information to help me make a decision. The ring was also made within the agreed upon time frame, if not earlier.
I picked out the Rockefeller ring #4 and it is truly very beautiful and very unique! It is perfect for me since I wanted something understated but with some sparkle. I constantly get compliments and I smile every time I look down.
Thanks so much!

essional service with beautiful, quality pieces at end state - she is absolutely the best to work with throughout the process!! She is approachable, patient and transparent; collaborating with her is so enjoyable. She takes the time to listen and learn about you/person you are custom designing for, making your experience uniquely special. Its evident that she cares about her work and her customers. In an industry where jewellers and options are plentiful - Shahla is a rare gem and will not disappoint!
When I told my best man that I was in the market for an engagement ring he recommended to contact Shahla. And right from the first emails going back and forth I knew I was not goin...
g to regret it. I like to research and had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. Shahla was immediately on the same page which was very reassuring. and we could clarify a lot of questions via email in advance. The actual appointment was amazing. Shahla was not only super welcoming but had everything perfectly prepared. She took all the time in the world to make sure I was happy with everything. And what can I say? The result was amazing! The ring turned out to be perfect and my fiance loves it. I can't recommend Shahla highly enough!
Very responsive and thoughtful

I couldn't have made a better decision than to go to Shahla Karimi to buy a ring to propose to the love of my life. Shahla took the time to make sure the ring was the right choice ...
and even after the purchase took the time to find out from my new fiance' if the ring not only fit her but was what she wanted also. That personal touch and quality one of a kind jewelry goes a long way!
Shahla was super helpful and took the stress out of the whole process. She's super nice and a pleasure to work with. She gave us the lowdown on all the industry secrets and gave us...
really good tips on how to purchase. Most importantly, we love the end product.
Shahla is the absolute best! She took us through the whole process of how my ring would be made and taught us how to pick the perfect diamond (something my husband and I knew nothi...
ng about). She also served us champagne and bourbon each time we met which was a plus (especially for my husband lol)! Can't say enough good things about working with Shahla — if you're looking to have your engagement ring custom made definitely reach out to her!
i would give Shahla a million stars if i could!! my mom always told me i had to find a jeweler i could trust, and once I connected with Shahla i knew i was in good hands. The qua...
lity and creativity of her work speaks for itself, but the personality and energy she brings to every meeting made shopping for bands the most fun part of wedding planning. My husband had never worn jewelry before, and she made him feel so comfortable to try on what he liked and worked with him so the fit was perfect. Shahla- thank you for being such an amazing and fun person...plus, you have exquisite taste in jewelry :)
I worked with Shahla to develop my wife’s custom engagement ring and it was one of the easiest and to be honest fun parts of our wedding planning. I came to Shahla with basically ...
no knowledge of engagement rings and jewelry design. She not only took the time to walk me through engagement ring and diamonds 101, she helped make my all over the place ideas into a beautiful ring that my wife loves. I know finding the right jewelry for a wedding can be daunting and downright overwhelming but I would highly recommend Shahla to help anyone through the process towards something that you will treasure forever.
I knew Shahla socially before working with her on some jewelry for my wedding, and was very happy she replied to my Instagram DM to get my fiance and I into her studio for a visit....
We collaborated on a custom wedding band and earrings for my wedding, and I was so impressed at Shahla's ability to translate what I envisioned into gorgeous, unique pieces of jewelry. She created the perfect art deco companion to my great-grandmothers engagement ring from the early 1900s. She even incorporated a few of the details from the engagement ring into the band, so they look like they were both created in the same era. She managed to source yellow diamonds to create beautiful crawlers, which were the earrings that I had pictured in my head to go with my wedding dress. I can't wait to collaborate with her in the future on more custom pieces of jewelry!!!
Specific to expenses, I was sort of kind of dreading my wedding day and all it had in store. Let me go on record as saying that it was probably the single most exciting planning I ...
have done in life (in large part due to Shahla's incredible service). My wife met Shahla at some wedding planning event. Shahla hosted us for a free consultation and really exuded her southern hospitality. Shahla worked with us down to the smallest details of our engagement bands. She was open to what we offered and even added some incite. On top of it all, Shahla's prices were extremely competitive and, in my opinion, under much of the competition considering how much customization she put in.
Again, Shahla, from the bottom of my heart, thank you on behalf of Ari and I.
My fiancé picked out her wedding bands from Shahla and recommended me to check them out as well. I didn’t think I wanted a diamond band at all but fell in love with her designs - ...
now I have 2 diamond bands! My favorite one being a beautiful v-cut style diamond eternity band. It stacked beautifully and I only wish I had bought my fiancé’s engagement ring from her. She is trustworthy and I LOVE her designs! Fast turnaround time, very accommodating and super professional. I play with and admire my wedding bands all the time! Highly recommended.

versations. Her suggestions are creative, thoughtful and so unique! She is also very aware of the current trends and super knowledgable about stones.
In terms of process, everything went very smoothly: delivered on time, perfect packaging and she is a delight to work with! I can only recommend working with her.

t so many compliments on it! Her knowledge about stones, settings and design elements was so helpful as she guided us in making choices that reflected our personalities and the unique design I was looking for. Even with the many choices we had to make, she was patient and responsive with all of our questions. She made the process equally seamless as we chose our wedding bands. I couldn't recommend Shahla more, and look forward to working with her again soon!
I worked with Shahla on my fiancé's engagement ring last year and words can't describe how amazing she was throughout the process. I knew next to nothing about diamonds when I got ...
started with Shahla ( literally thought carats were spelled "carrots" ). I was also paralyzed with fear about the thought of having to randomly walk around the diamond district to get the ring , so I was incredibly relieved to be able to work with Shahla and have my hand held through the entire process (diamond purchase, design, renderings, production, etc.). Not only did she do an amazing job on the ring (my fiancé's gets compliments on it everyday), but she took the stress out of what otherwise would have been a level 10 stressful purchase and actually made it fun. I tell all my friends who are just beginning to think about rings that they'd be crazy not to work with Shahla!
I am not a regular jewelry shopper, but I found my experience with Shahla quite pleasant. Despite my ignorance, Shahla was extremely patient and professional while assisting me in...
picking out a wedding band which I am confident I will cherish. Despite correctly predicting the band I would choose, we tried out many different styles before I made my decision. Once I received the finished product, the look and fit were exactly what I was looking for.
I met with tons of jewelry designers. My fiancé and I were relieved when we met with Shahla. She is incredibly nice, easy to work with, and flexible with every step of the process...

laborated with me in person and over email until we had the perfect rings. I have never seen more beautiful engagement rings (yes, I got 2 -- working on that wedding stack!!) The experience was second to none -- and I can't wait to add more to the collection!

ake your breath away every time you see them. Aside from being a brilliantly talented artist, Shahla is an absolute delight to work with. I would absolutely recommend her and her designs. She is the real deal.

th exactly what we wanted. The rings were perfect and we'll be forever grateful to Shahla for being so professional and creating rings for such an important occasion.
Shahla is everything you want in a jewelry designer - she is kind, honest, funny and caring. She designed both my engagement ring and our wedding bands (amongst other jewelry we've...
now had her design), and we both could not love them anymore.
So many people ask me about my engagement ring, that now two of my friends fiance's have used her! She really takes time to get to know the couple, your likes and dislikes and then designs something just for you. I was honestly nervous letting my fiance pick my engagement ring without my opinion, but with Shahla's guidance, the ring is more than I could have ever imagined.Similarly, wearing a wedding band is a scary thing for guys who don't wear jewelry often, and she worked with my fiance to find a ring that was comfortable for him and he now loves it.
I would recommend her 100x over, you won't be disappointed (not to mention she's very reasonable and and honest which is hard to come by in this industry).
Shahla is very responsible, and professional to her customer. When we are working on the custom engagement ring and wedding band, she listens carefully to what the customer wants a...

nsultation, she expressed the upmost professionalism and attentiveness. My wedding band as well as my fiancé's was exactly what we envisioned and her attention to details was clearly evident. Not to mention, the quality and the unique design of her jewelry is remarkable, I still find myself staring at my hand in admiration to this day! I couldn't have been more satisfied with my choice.
I worked with Shahla on a custom engagement ring for my now fiancé. I was referred to her by a co-worker. I did shop around first in the diamond district to get an idea of how mu...
ch a diamond should cost but NO ONE took the time to educate me about diamonds the way Shahla did. She taught me about market value and where the pricing “sweet spots” were (no need to go above VS1 she said). She walked me through every diamond option with a loupe and pointed out the inclusions in each.
I really don’t know much about design but my fiancé loved the unique touches she put on the ring. I was just happy to find someone trust worthy to buy a diamond from.
