I have to say Kasee the wedding coordinator is absolutely amazing and a large reason we chose the venue. She was very responsive to all of our questions and we clicked with her right away. Her team was extremely attentive to everything and the bar staff was great with our large group of drinkers :) I highly recommend Shaker Hills if you are looking for a beautiful ceremony location, a new beautifully renovated reception area, and a wedding coordinator that will ensure you do not have any worries on the day of.

They have made many updates in the last year and the ballroom, upper deck, and patio are breathtaking as well as the view of the golf course. The wedding planner, Kasee, was amazing and helped us with every piece of the planning process and took care of everything the day of the wedding so we could enjoy ourselves and not worry. She gave me guidance on colors, decorations, seating arrangements and anything I asked and she made everything perfect for us. My guests loved the venue and food and many said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.

The Sales & Event manager, Kasee, was so easy to work with and was there for us every step of the way. Kasee was quick to respond when I had questions or concerns, and put my mind at ease knowing that everything was going to go smoothly the day of. Kasee was even more accommodating than you can imagine, she even offered to come and help coordinate us at the church we were getting married at! Kasee really made sure the night ran smoothly and that we stayed on track with timing throughout the night. She even made sure we had time to sit down and eat. I could go on and on about how wonderful Shaker Hills, the staff and especially Kasee are! Our day was absolutely amazing, and we cannot thank Kasee and the entire staff at Shaker Hills enough!

th. We had about 100 guests and the space worked perfectly -- not too crowded but didn't feel empty. It did rain on our wedding day, so unfortunately we didn't get to use the upper deck for our cocktail hour as planned, but the bar/lounge area was a great alternative and we don't feel like we missed out. The pricing was very reasonable for the fantastic food and service we received, especially compared with the estimates that we received from other venues. I couldn't recommend having your reception here more.

It was our first venue we looked at when we started planning our wedding and we knew we would end up coming back to it. Shaker Hills is reasonably priced and we received exceptional service from all staff. We initially worked with Rhi, the wedding coordinator, at the beginning of our wedding planning. She was very professional, responded promptly to any emails or questions, and was flexible with our contract. We worked with Joann and Kasee towards the middle and finalization of our wedding planning. Although we were nervous and concerned after the original coordinator resigned, it worked out perfectly. Kasee was our wedding coordinator throughout the rest of our wedding planning. When we first met with her, we liked her right away. Kasee was very professional, gave us great advice, was flexible and understanding to our needs/concerns, always responded promptly to our emails or phone calls, knew exactly what she was doing, placed decor in the right settings not knowing where we may have wanted them, and made us feel very comfortable. Kasee is great wedding coordinator that made us feel at ease like a friend. We hope to meet again for fun! Upon initially meeting her, the weather was not great but she even took the bride and groom out on the golf course on a rainy day to see where our first look photos would occur. All the staff at Shaker Hills were extremely kind and did a nice job with food, bar service, and cleanliness. We received many compliments about the delicious food and venue! We truly loved our ceremony and reception at Shaker Hills and we are so glad we got married at the first venue we fell in love with! Thank you Shaker Hills for giving us a memorable experience!

This venue offered many areas for our guests to enjoy (outdoor ceremony space, upper patio for cocktail hour, the grand ballroom for dinner and dancing, the lower patio, a comfortable sitting room outside of the ballroom, and a large bar area). My husband and I were very lucky to have a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony, but it was very comforting to know the "Plan B" indoor ceremony space was also a beautiful option. Our formal photos out on the course are absolutely stunning. There are so many wonderful backgrounds; it was our photographer's dream setting! The food at Shaker Hills Country Club is top notch -- our guests continue to rave about how delicious their meals were! My husband and I not only made time to eat our dinner (which we've been told is extremely rare for the bride and groom)... we cleaned our plates! My husband and I opted for plated service during dinner, and the staff served all of our guests flawlessly. The staff of Shaker Hills Country Club was extremely helpful every step of the way. In the very early stages of wedding planning, my husband and I relocated from Massachusetts to South Carolina and we were prepared for the challenges we would inevitably face during long-distance wedding planning. The distance never seemed to be an issue! We were always able to contact the event coordinator with any and all questions (I certainly had plenty of them!), and we always received a prompt response. They were extremely accommodating to our tight schedules when we traveled to Massachusetts for a wedding planning weekend. Most importantly, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single detail during our wedding! The event coordinator took care of everything and even checked-in with us throughout the evening to let us know things were running smoothly. After several months of wedding planning, we couldn't have been happier to confidently hand over control and enjoy our special day. Shaker Hills Country Club went above and beyond our expectations and delivered our dream wedding! We highly recommend Shaker Hills Country Club -- you won't be disappointed!

and we opted to have dinner in the ballroom with dancing in the large lounge. A HUGE plus is that for the reception, the rain plan was not a concern! It rained on our wedding day, but we were able to move cocktail hour into the lounge, with the covered terrace with outdoor fireplaces as an additional option for our guests. The food was delicious; we received numerous compliments. Shaker Hills takes a unique approach to menu tastings: They actually host a dinner party for all the couples, so you can try lots more menu options than most venues, see different table settings, and even swap ideas with other couples using the venue. Rhi, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful every step of the way. She was very responsive, professional, and organized from our initial meeting to the final minutes of the reception. We highly recommend this venue, and we couldn't be happier that we chose it for our wedding!

The day of the wedding she was there and made sure everything went as planned and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. My husband and I felt very attended to the entire evening and had such a wonderful experience with this venue and the staff. I definitely recommend this venue and it is extremely affordable as well. We’re sad the wedding is over but we will certainly be back to visit for golf and some food and drinks at the bar!!

My guests raved about how amazing the venue was, and how great the food and service was. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue, and how much they wanted to see my vision through. My now husband is very excited to play his free round of golf at Shaker as well!

It was great to have her present on the night of the wedding to help make everything run smoothly. We could not have picked a better venue for an outside ceremony! The pictures from the first tee are incredible. All of our guests loved the upper deck area for the cocktail hour and it allowed for a nice flow from outside to inside for the reception. We had approximately 160 guests which comfortably fit into the ball room. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. We couldn’t of asked for a better venue!!

They made every effort to accommodate any needs or requests we may have had and did their best to make the wedding planning process as easy as possible for us. The event coordinator Rhi was amazing! As the bride I worried about almost every detail and probably made some ridiculous requests but she was there to reassure me and help me with anything I needed. She was quick to respond to every email I sent and was able to assist me with any questions or requests I may have had. The day of the wedding she took the lead, assuring everything ran smoothly and made sure I was not worried or stressed about anything. She was wonderful to work with and I am so grateful she was there to help ensure every detail was in place for our wedding. Everyone who attended our wedding raved over the venue, the staff, service, and especially the food. Many said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! My husband and I are extremely happy we chose Shaker Hills for our August 2015 wedding and they helped to make our day that much more special and a day we will cherish forever.
