My husband and I had the privilege of working with Brad from Shaking Hands Productions for our wedding last June. Throughout our wedding, he captured the most personal moments of our ceremony and reception, including our vows, wedding speeches, and toasts, and carefully crafted it into a beautiful wedding video that we will forever cherish. I am so grateful that he took the time to ensure that all of our family and friends were included in the footage, as it allows us to relive so many of the memories of that night, which truly passes by so quickly. It was such a pleasure to work with Brad and an honor to have him as our videographer for our wedding!

Brad was one of three videographers recommended to us by our wedding planner and we are so happy we chose to work with him. He was a pleasure to work with leading up to our big day, happily customizing a package that fit our needs and requests. Now that we have our video in hand, we could not be more thankful that Brad was there to capture every moment of our special day. Cannot recommend Brad and Shaking Hands highly enough. Their work speaks for itself, so I'll just add that they are absolutely incredible to work with, so friendly and make you feel comfortable the entire day. While I was getting ready, I decided to do a last minute review of my vows (which we had decided to memorize) and Brad was awesome, stepping in to quiz me/prompt me. Then during the ceremony and reception it was like they put on invisibility costumes, because I know they were there and capturing it all, but I swear I never once saw them-- they disappeared! I think that's a big part of what sets Shaking Hands apart is that they capture it all, but without being so front and center that your guests don't see it all. We absolutely adored Brad and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer.

Brad Bennett and Shaking Hands Productions was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The trailer and film capture us as a couple and our wedding day SO perfectly. The music choices, the scene selections, the speeches, the style - everything was exactly what and how we wanted to remember the day. Brad is the consummate professional. He runs with business with such a personal and understanding touch, knowing that not every wedding and couple are the same. His email response time is basically real time. He couldn't be lovelier in person. My husband was hesitant to have a videographer because he didn't want to feel like he was filming a reality show on our wedding day. At the end of the day, Mike noted he didn't notice Brad or the other videographer once. The reward that is watching our wedding film that Brad edited so perfectly is priceless. It will always brings us back to our special day. Every couple should be so lucky to have Brad capture their day!

Shaking Hands came highly recommended by my wedding planner. I was disappointed when I learned that Brad was already booked for my wedding date, but he offered to send a few of his associates and to edit the film himself. My wedding planner still urged me to use Shaking Hands with this arrangement and I am so glad I did. They were incredibly helpful and easy to work with leading up to the big day. I hadn't thought much of what to do with the videographers the day of the wedding, but when they showed up they were extremely professional and told me not to worry about anything. They jumped right into the swing of things capturing our special moments but most of the time I forgot they were there! The finished product is absolutely incredible. I am so glad I decided to hire a videographer. I know I will cherish what Shaking Hands created for me for the rest of my life.

We just received our wedding trailer and wedding video back and both are amazing! From scenes selected, speeches captured, music selection, and just general editing/style, we are so impressed and happy that we went with Shaking Hands Productions. Honestly, we were originally not planning on having a videographer for our wedding, for budgetary reasons. However, both sets of our parents were quite adamant in saying that we would regret it, and boy are we thankful we listened to them. Our wedding planner helped narrow down our options, and my wife gave me the task of choosing a vendor. In a similar way that my wife was extremely selective in choosing our photographer, I was very particular with how I thought our wedding video should turn out. Out of the list that we were given, I could not help but go to Shaking Hands' website over and over again. Everything from the incorporation of sound and voice-overs, vantage points, transitions, details, use of the vintage super8 film, was spot on, and you knew that you would get a high quality product. On the day of our wedding, Brad and Austin were both very polite and professional. They were not at all invasive and blended effortlessly into the background. This however, did not affect their ability to make our film spectacular. When we received the wedding trailer, we were floored by how much of our day was captured in just under three minutes without having it feel crammed, and we were highly impressed with how they compiled everything. In fact, guests of ours showed off our trailer to others, and claimed that the viewers cried tears of joy, despite not having attended our wedding. This fueled even more excitement for the full-length movie. By the time we received the full-length film, we were overjoyed to re-live our biggest day so far, and we cannot keep track of how many times we have shared it with family and friends. Brad and Austin did a superb job piecing together and summarizing our big day into a short movie that has kept us and our audiences engaged and wanting more. Shaking Hands is an incredibly talented film making team. They truly crafted a masterpiece that we can reflect on for many years to come.

Brad Bennett, and Shaking Hands Productions, are artistic geniuses! At first, videography was an afterthought during my wedding planning/budgeting. Luckily, through random web surfing, I stumbled upon Shaking Hands Production's website and watched just about every wedding video available. I was dumbfounded and I knew I HAD to have his talents. Brad offers something totally different then any other wedding video vender in the Lynchburg area, as well as the rest of the region. His work is truly a work of art, and makes you feel like you're the star of a romance movie based on your love story. The length of the video is perfect for showing friends and family at any event or get together, without making them feel as though they are sitting through a full length movie. The time that Brad takes to edit and make your video as personal as possible, is immediately evident from the opening scenes. All of my married family and friends are jealous, and my single friends are so impressed I am confident that they will be in a hurry to book him as soon as they begin planning their own weddings. Videography may be somewhat pricey in general, but Brad's prices stack up closely to every other videographer I researched, and his work was far more brilliant and inventive. It is a keepsake that I will treasure forever! And safe to say the best decision I made while planning my wedding!

We fell in love with Shaking Hands Productions from the first trailer we saw!! Their amazing work, especially the super8film, sold us, and we knew we just had to have them as our wedding videographer! Brad and his team were wonderful to work with! They made us feel so comfortable and we were extremely pleased with the finished product! Everyone who has seen our video truly feels like they are back in Charleston for our wedding day! Brad at Shaking Hands did such a fantastic job with our video. I live in NY and after doing much research decided to go with Brad and his team, and am so happy we did. They did a great job--we have such a wonderful, emotional, fun, just all around beautiful wedding video. Everything came back great--cinematography, the music, editing. I was absolutely thrilled with Brad Bennett. Not only is he courteous and professional, but he is extremely talented. The final product, our DVD, captured all the important moments of our wedding day but also the emotions, the excitement, and the joy. Brad is so unobtrusive. I never knew he was even around me filming. Yet he managed to get every moment. Also, I received my DVD within two months of the wedding which is an extremely fast turnaround. They did an absolutely FANTASTIC job with my wedding in July. I really can't say enough about them...my video is just PHENOMENAl, it was above and beyond anything I expected and just simply amazing. The music is set to be perfectly timed with the scenes and the whole thing just flows perfectly. They really have a gift! :) Also a lot of the guests were surprised to find out we had a videographer there because they just blended into the background so unobtrusively. During the entire wedding I never truly noticed them, which was great because I could just enjoy the moment and not be worried about the camera. If I had to do it again I'd always pick them again :)

We hired Brad and Shaking Hands because we were blown away by the sample videos style and modern feel. It's 2011 and everyone should have an HD video of their day!! Other videographers wanted an insane amount of money for HD video, but Brad has reasonable rates and delivers an unbelievable product. The video we got was modern, clear, and short enough that your family will actually want to sit thru it and watch it with you! Plus, he returns all the raw footage back to you. My friends and family have been so impressed with Shaking Hands that they booked him for their own weddings. Total flexibility, great attitude, and amazing vendor to work with. Brad at SHP were great to work with. They were extremely unobtrusive and also made my husband and I feel at ease. We had a great time working with the team and cannot wait to see the film of our wedding day!
