My husband and I held our wedding ceremony at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in May 2023, and could not be happier with our choice! The venue is absolutely stunning with the flo...
or-to-ceiling window outlooking the ocean! Our guests continue to rave about our ceremony location for both the natural beauty of the space and window, but also because (unlike many traditional ceremony locations) everyone had a great view of us due to the theater setup!
My husband and I got married at the Shalin Liu Performance Center this past weekend and it was everything we hoped for and more! Our guests raved all night about what a beautiful ...
venue it was and everything was just perfect. We worked with Michelle Alekson. She was fantastic throughout the entire process from our first inquiry to the day/night of the wedding. She was very kind , responsive and overall just a pleasure to work with. We wish we could do it all over again!
We could not be more excited that we got to have our ceremony at the Shalin Liu. My husband and I met doing a theater show and it seemed so fitting for us to get married on a stage...
, that overlooks the ocean! Our guests were blown away by the beauty of this performance hall. It really set tone for our wedding and helped us create a beautiful and genuine ceremony. We rented the gorgeous piano for his cousin to play and it was worth every penny!! Not only was the hall beautiful with a breathtaking view but the staff was beyond helpful. Michelle was there every step of the way letting us come see the space when we needed to. Daphne was Angel making sure everything went smoothly and getting us anything that we needed the night before and that day. Our family and friends are STILL talking about our gorgeous and unique ceremony. Thank you for opening your doors to us!!
I loved everything, absolutely everything, about our wedding venue. The location and building were perfect beyond my wildest dreams. The only thing I had a problem with was communi...
cation. I wish I had a little more involvement from the event coordinator, but I was also the type of person that really stayed on top of things so overall everything worked out perfectly.
Michelle the event coordinator was uncooperative and couldn’t even email or call me back with her availability for a tour. They lost my business.
My husband and I were married at the Shalin Liu in October of 2013. First of all the stage offers an extraordinary view. They offer the green room to get ready or wait in which is ...
really nice. Everyone we dealt with at the Shalin Liu was very professional and helpful. We really enjoyed working with Amy who was super flexible and always willing to answer the many many questions we had. They have a really beautiful area for the reception as well and were very accommodating. It's definitely not your typically wedding venue and I felt we were really able to create the wedding we wanted there.
My husband Eric and I married here in September 2013. I could not give high enough marks to Shalin Liu. I have never experienced a venue with as much class and gorgeousness as this...
performance hall. Their staff is accommodating (Amy Rich is PHENOMENAL) and pleasant to work with. I recommend this in a heartbeat. Every guest of ours commented on the stunning ceremony backdrop of Rockport and the ocean.
We had a great experience with Shalin Liu! It is a wonderful venue to have your wedding reception. The concert hall is also available for your ceremony as well (or as a contingen...
cy plan). Things to note: Alcohol must be purchased through the venue. A parking attendant must be rented if you would like to reserve a lot for your guests to park in. They have 160 chairs on site - all other/additional equipment must be rented through your caterer.
