Shaline

Shaline was an absolute dream to work with. She is unbelievably talented and brings both vision and incredible skill to her work. I brought in my mother's wedding dress, which had been previously worn by her great-grandmother, hoping to find some way of repurposing it for my own wedding gown. Shaline listened closely to what I was looking for, offering expert insight and advice, and designed the dress of my dreams out of the antique gown. She was able to find silk that was an exact match of the original fabric (and went through several shipments to make sure the color was exactly right) and did amazing work with the old dress's delicate hand-sewn lace, making it look fresh and modern. She was so patient with me as I asked for tweaks here and there and even scheduled an unplanned last-minute fitting to accommodate some wedding stress-related weight loss. The dress was absolutely stunning and I've never felt more beautiful than I did wearing it! Shaline is incredibly professional, kind, and a pleasure to be around - she made our appointments fun and something to look forward to. She takes her work seriously, and it shows...even when we were down to the wire, I never doubted her commitment to making the dress perfect, and the finished dress far exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a custom creation or want help reviving/altering an old dress, I can't recommend Shaline highly enough.

Shaline was wonderful from start to finish. When I purchased my dress, it was made to my size. When I tried it on at the shop, it fit well and I thought "Shaline won't have to do much". I had three fittings and Shaline transformed that dress from beautiful to absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail and passion for what she does is obvious and it was a pleasure to work with her. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Shaline had made my sister's wedding dress 10 years ago; I wore the same dress but Shaline perfected it for me. She sowed on missing beads and anything else that had fallen off. She also steamed the dress, the train, and my veil, all of which she made. She is an extremely talented seamstress who is a delight to work with.
