Shall We Dance? is a partner-dance studio based in Norman, OK. This talented team of enthusiastic instructors specializes in getting to-be-weds dance-floor ready for their once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Teaching all levels in a variety of styles, they work closely with each couple to help them strut their stuff with both confidence and comfort.
Over the last decade, owner Kate and her passionate crew of instructors have worked with countless couples to bring their first-dance visions to life. Client satisfaction is their top priority and they customize each program for maximum ease and efficiency. From classic ballroom waltzes to modern swing routines, they will tailor their services to fit the unique needs and desires of each couple.
The Shall We Dance? team knows that each wedding is one-of-a-kind and that every couple wants something unique for their first dance. In your complimentary 30-minute consultation, you will be invited to outline your desires and dance-floor dreams and from there, they will design the perfect package. They teach all the dances in the styles of Ballroom, Latin, Country, and Swing, and they will customize your routine to fit your level for a thoroughly comfortable experience. For superior results, it is recommended that you start lessons at least six weeks before your special day.

r dancing with all our friends and family. This venue is ideal, and we were very excited when Kate Linkous, the owner, agreed to let us use her studio.
The room is elegant. There were about 120 people in attendance but there was lots of space. The dance floor can best be described as huge. Enormous. We divided it in half, one side for dining and the other side for dancing. The counters were large enough for the buffet dinner which we had catered, and for the wedding cakes. The lights and the music were dreamlike. The room has a wonderful sound system, of course. Kate even programed our music into her sound system, as a back-up. This saved us, when the computer on which our music was saved crashed on the morning of the party. We found out later she had a lot of experience with wedding receptions!
Kate also served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the whole event. She choreographed a beautiful waltz for us. It was what every bride dreams of. She even taught a group-lesson after dinner, to get all our guests onto the dance floor!
Several of them said it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding reception; the rest were dancers and KNEW it would be fun. Mission accomplished! Thank You Kate Linkous and all our friends at "Shall We Dance?" You made my fantasy reception a reality!
