Shalonda A. Beauty Expert

GET SHALONDA. She did makeup for my engagement pictures (we considered that my wedding trial run) and the wedding, as well as makeup for my mom, bridesmaids, flower girls, and a cousin (who popped into the seat when it was empty... lol). She was incredibly accommodating to everyone! Her makeup is PERFECT. Everyone looked gorgeous, it stayed amazingly well throughout the night (and into the next day... *cough*). She was great on time, too, not making anyone feel rushed but doing everyone quickly. She made me pretty enough to make my now husband cry when he saw me, so that's saying something ;) She also got along with everyone well. This might seem like a non-issue, but in my experience, chemistry between the bride/groom/bridal party and a vendor makes a bigger difference than you'd think. She got the biggest kick out of all of us (we're rather twisted in our senses of humor) and was funny herself! It was really a relaxing, great morning getting ready with many thanks to her and Meatta, who does hair and is Shalonda's partner in makeup/hair.
