John is an amazing DJ! I'll admit, my fiance and I were a little (ok, a LOT!) overwhelmed and clueless when it came to the DJ services, and therefore ended up putting it off until quite late. However, John still managed to meet with us and put us entirely at ease! He gave us great song suggestions for certain important moments in the evening, and we felt completely at ease in letting him take the reigns during the reception and play what he thought was best. He did a fantastic job! From the moment dancing started until the very end of the night, people did not leave the dance floor - myself included! John also did a great job of getting the crowd excited and involved in the night, providing great flow throughout the events of the evening. I highly, highly recommend John as the DJ for your event. You will not be disappointed!

John did such a great job at our Wedding and set the tone for the entire night! He is highly professional, fun, and hard working. We liked that he checked in with us during different times in the night to make sure everything alright and that the timing of everything was perfect. We were very disappointed with this DJ and quite frankly, I feel duped. We hired him to take care of the music for our event but we ended up spending a great deal of time getting most of the music on our own. He was also unprepared to perform MC duties and unwilling to motivate the crow to dance.To top it all, he showed up to our formal event dressed in a polo style shirt rather than the Tuxedo he said he would wear. I would have done much better and saved myself a few hundred dollars if I had just plugged my ipod to some speakers.

My husband and I contacted Shamrock sounds through email requesting a meeting to discuss his business. He responded very quickly and we met later that week to discuss his services and prices. I was amazed at how low Shamrock Sounds prices were compared to other DJ's in Columbus,Ohio, and I did my "homework" on everything in my wedding because I had to stay on budget. My husband and I contacted a few other DJ's that week to schedule interviews but they did not promptly respond so we decided to go with Shamrock Sounds. I met with John twice more before the wedding to discuss the music that was to be played and the specific order and schedule of the Reception. John was happy to tell me he would keep us on schedule so we didn't run over. The day of my wedding everything actually went very well and according to schedule. Everybody at the reception asked what company was my DJ from because he had such a great selection of music and a really great speaking voice ! I have to say I think Shamrock sounds was the very best DJ service I could have gone with. John was even willing to change one of the songs played when my father had to leave unexpectedly before the father daughter dance. I danced with my mother instead and John was very willing to change the song to accommodate that because my mother and I have a special song just for the two of us. The whole event went very well and I have nothing but the very highest recommendation of Shamrock Sounds because I do not think any other DJ service could or would have done a better job. John is so friendly and nice and willing to work with you on whatever your needs are so go with Shamrock Sounds because they are the BEST!!!
