Shanahan's Barn

Shanahan’s Barn was the best place we could’ve had our wedding. The barn is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, and Michelle and her husband are the best! Michelle was always available for questions or barn tours/plans for us, and for our wedding planner. The barn was a beautiful backdrop, and we were able to customize everything to our liking and really decorate it to our style.

Michelle and Keith are so helpful and really go above and beyond to help make your wedding day, and rehearsal dinner at The Pub everything you want! Michelle is so accommodating and responsive, she makes you feel at ease working with her. We loved everything about our day and could not have done it without the incredible staff! I would recommend this venue to anyone!!

We had a September wedding at Shanahan’s and it was beautiful! Michelle was easy to communicate with from the start and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed for our day throughout the entire process. The barn is very pretty as is but dressed up with drapes and lighting it is gorgeous. We had such a wonderful wedding day and we owe most of that to Michelle and the Shanahan’s crew. My friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a northern Michigan wedding!!

We cannot say enough great things about Michelle and Keith. They were a dream to work with! The communication from start to finish was prompt and informative, and they were very flexible and accommodating. They answered ALL of our thousands of questions, and they helped us make some last minute changes when we had to move our ceremony into the loft due to the rain. The barn was elegant, beautiful, and magical. It was the perfect place to share our love and the beginning of the rest of our lives with our closest family and friends. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how breathtaking the venue and property was, and how impressed they were when they opened the barn door and saw the lights and drapes - particularly in the loft area! Everything about Shanahan’s Barn was perfect! Michelle is literally the kindest, most communicative and understanding person and you could not ask for a better person to help make your wedding day dreams come true! She and her team were always there to go above and beyond to make our vision come alive and there was nothing I would change about our big day! Not only is the barn itself an absolute show-stopper, the team that comes with it will make your wedding stress-free, beautiful and the most memorable experience of your life! You cannot go wrong with choosing Shanahan’s Barn and I would 10/10 recommend this venue for anyone and everyone!

Michelle, Keith, and their team were a dream to work with. I could not imagine having a better experience. We were originally supposed to get married in May 2020 but postponed twice until June 2022 and we never felt any pressure to not postpone from the Shanahan’s team. On the day of our wedding the bar never had a line because Michelle’s team is so efficient. People raved about how kind and fun the staff were. Michelle and Keith were with us throughout our whole weekend making us feel special whether we were golfing or a getting out the pre-ceremony jitters. Everyone also raves about how nice the restrooms were! We chose to have our rehearsal dinner at Shanahan’s pub which was also managed by Michelle and Keith’s team and that was amazing too. No one’s glasses were ever empty and the food was great too! We toured several venues throughout Northern Michigan and while I’m sure they’re all great, the attention to detail, the communication, and the team that Michelle and Keith have created make all the difference and I will sing their praises forever. Here are the things that originally made us choose Shanahan’s Barn: - it’s large so we knew we wouldn’t feel cramped no matter how many people could make it - we would be the only couple there that day. We wouldn’t hear another party down the hall. - we had the freedom to choose our vendors with suggestions from Michelle. - there are SO many beautiful spots for pictures, down by the water, in the beautiful landscaping at the golf course or with the barn in the background. - I wasn’t at all worried about if it rained on our day because there was a PERFECT backup location inside the barn a beautiful ceremony, but the outside ceremony space is perfectly manicured too. - it has a rustic feel but it’s beautifully restored and renovated with heaters and other tricks to protect you from the elements, if needed. -once your guests arrive, they don’t have to leave until the party is over! -there are a lot of hotels nearby, so no long shuttle back to a hotel 30+ minutes away - we met with Michelle and immediately trusted her and felt comfortable with her! I cannot recommend Shanahan’s Barn enough, take it from me, a bride who planned her wedding three times but never thought twice about the venue we picked!

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. Michelle & everyone at Shanahan’s Barn are incredible. Michelle was extremely helpful leading up to the big day, answering every little question I had & I felt like she shared every bit of excitement for our big day. There were zero hiccups up and everything went so smooth. The venue itself if stunning and has several options for pictures on site. The inside is gorgeous with the lighting & drapes, making the rustic barn absolutely magical. I cannot tell you how many guests commented on how beautiful the building itself was. Thankfully weather cooperated during cocktail hour and our guests were able to enjoy the outdoor “patio” space for drinks/apps while we took photos. It is incredibly spacious - especially accommodating during “COVID times” to allow to spread out if they wanted to. The bar staff was efficient & our guests enjoyed drinks all night… a bonus not having to worry managing the bar ourselves. Again, I cannot thank Michelle and her crew for making our wedding day absolutely amazing.

Michelle (venue coordinator) and her entire team at Shanahan’s Barn provided a fabulous overall experience. Our daughter’s wedding celebration was 2 years in the making due to Covid. During each and every step of the way, Michelle was patient, professional and extremely helpful! This may be a destination experience for most people, but the staff make you feel very welcome and right at home in their 100 year old Barn!!

Excellent service, wonderful staff, beautiful setting. Being from out of town, I was worried about all the details coming together correctly - there is nothing to worry about with Shanahan's - they were steps ahead of us through the whole planning process and the day of the wedding, all the vendors were spot on. We ended up with a rainy day and had planned the ceremony outside, it was moved inside, upstairs and couldn't have been more lovely. We would have planned the ceremony indoors from the start if we knew the barn would look so amazing - an 'intimate feeling' for 250 people - just lovely! Hosting any party at Shanahan's would be an excellent time! Michelle and her staff went above and beyond with every detail; they were all very accommodating. Our wedding was in September and we're still receiving wonderful comments - a very good time was had by all who attended.

For starters, this venue was everything we could’ve asked for and more! We toured over 20 locations and this one ticked all of our boxes and more! Michelle, the day planner went above and beyond and made sure everything was perfect for us and the bartenders were amazing with our guests. There is not enough space here to describe how amazing this venue really is. Besides being stunning, the barn gave us amazing photos, enough room for all of our guests and provided an inside and outside ceremony option. That was very beneficial for us because it was down pouring the day of the wedding (I hope it was good luck)! Out of all the barns we toured, this one really stood out to us! Alittle pricy, but SO WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Our wedding was phenomenal not only for us, but for everyone that attended! The bathrooms are spacious, the bar is huge, and the dance floor is perfection. If you’re having a barn wedding and are a little bougie then this location is perfection! Michelle and her crew are amazing to work with and the location is absolutely perfect!! As soon as my then fiancé and I stepped into the barn it instantly took our breath away and gave us chills. We knew that is where we wanted to become husband and wife and start our new beginning. It was a night to remember and a night we can’t wait to tell all of our kids about!! I wish I could give Shanahan’s Barn more than 5 stars!! Book your tour, because when you walk into the barn you will fall in love!!

Absolutely perfect venue! Michelle and Keith are excellent people to work with! I couldn’t have felt more secure about my wedding because of them! So thankful to have such great people to work with. The barn is perfect!

Our wedding here was PERFECT! The barn looked gorgeous and the whole evening was exactly what I envisioned (and better!). The staff was so kind and every vendor said Shanahan's was great to work with. Michelle was amazing through everything (including rescheduling due to Covid). We had a large band and the sound set up was completely seamless - the dance floor was packed all night! We had so many visitors from all over and many first timers to northern Michigan - the barn is a truly unique venue that really highlights the area. My husband also loved having a golf outing the day before, thanks to Keith for setting that up! Cannot recommend highly enough :)

Wow! I attended a wedding here in 2018 and fell in love with the venue and scenery. So naturally, when my boyfriend proposed in 2019, I knew I wanted to have the wedding yake place here! Unfortunately, we had a 2020 wedding date set and Covid did affect our day. However, even with all the uncertainties, Michelle remained patient, calm, and understanding. We changed our wedding completely, and she worked so hard to accommodate our changes so we could still have a wedding. I'm beyond grateful that I was still able to have my wedding on our original date and that the venue remained flexible with us. I was able to have my dream ceremony!

I have worked here several times as a wedding coordinator through my company, Up North Events, and I have so many good things to say! After my first event at the barn, I was super impressed by the small, but dedicated team running the weddings. The set-up crew and bartenders are so friendly and will help with anything at the drop of a hat. The venue's wedding manager is genuinely invested in each wedding, wanting to make sure everything is just right for the couple. They always have the ceremony, reception, bar(s), etc. set up on time and they take care to do it well. They have their whole operation down to a science, which helps things run smoothly each time. Also, their new draping service takes the look of the barn to a whole new level. Shanahan's Barn is a GREAT place to have a wedding!

We had our wedding at Shanahan’s in July and it was able to be our fairytale dream come true because of the beautiful barn and the wonderful staff. Michelle and Keith Grunch went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us- the year of planning leading up to the wedding and especially on our special day. Without question the most romantic place to get married up north! Great interior layout with outdoor settings that photographers love. Everything ran smoothly thanks to the help of the Grunch’s. Cannot recommend enough! Our friends are still talking about the “magic”!

We had our wedding at Shanahan's Barn back in August and we couldn't have asked for a better venue to be married. Shanahan's Barn is so magical, as soon as we saw it we knew we had to get married there. Our guests absolutely loved the space and all the land! Michelle and her Husband are an amazing team and did everything in their power to make our wedding so special. It felt like I was their only bride when obviously that wasn't true. I loved everything about our wedding and having it at Shanahan's Barn was a dream! I would pick them over and over. If you want a magical barn wedding look no further, Shanahan's Barn is it!

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day. The barn is beautiful, which means that you can decorate it as little or as much as you want and it will always look amazing! The space also works really nicely for wedding transitions - the loft is absolutely beautiful for the ceremony, there is ample space on the the main floor for a cocktail hour and dinner, and the loft makes a great dance floor! Michelle and her team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that our day went smoothly. Charlevoix is also a beautiful town; we had beautiful spots around town and around the barn for photo-ops, and our out-of-town guests fell in love with the area! Absolutely recommend the barn to anyone looking for a venue in Northern Michigan!

My husband and I are still in awe of our special day. So much went into it that made it so special, but Michelle and Keith were 100% a HUGE part of it. Absolutely magical venue for our wedding. We got married at the Barn in August 2019 and everything went perfectly thanks to Michelle and Keith. We planned our wedding from out of state, and they helped with contacting local vendors (who were all fantastic) and answered any questions that we had. Since we couldn’t be there to see the barn before we reserved it, Michelle gave us a FaceTime tour! They really go above and beyond to make sure that your special day is what you dream it would be! The Barn itself is beautiful, and if you are lucky enough to have the MI weather cooperate - the outdoor location for the ceremony is gorgeous!

We loved working with Michelle and her husband! They were very responsive in answering our questions and concerns in the planning process. The venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for weddings! We cannot wait to have another wedding there and work with Michelle again!

The best barn in Michigan! Seriously. The best staff coordinator ever! Michelle. Shanahan's Barn, and it's coordinator Michelle, are so fantastic! Everything is so easy, Michelle was always responsive, and everyone raved about the venue! Bringing your own caterers, decor, etc. is more work but I loved having the freedom. Highly, highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding in early August of 2018. We loved the every part of the venue! I love that chairs, tables and linens were included so that wasn’t an extra cost. There was always tips and guidance from Michelle. The bathrooms are a huge plus especially for a barn! I do wish there was a building / home to rent on the property at an additional cost as it would have been nice to get ready on the property. There are homes to rent out but they go so quick and even at a year and a half out we couldn’t find a place there! Beautiful venue and I am sure it will only grow more. I would get married at this barn again and again!

My husband and I recently got married at Shanahan's Barn. It was absolutely perfect. We are from the Detroit area, but knew we wanted to get married up north. We toured TONS of venues all the way from Traverse City to Charlevoix. The minute we walked into Shanahan's Barn, we knew we HAD to get married there. All of our guests loved it too. People kept asking us, "Where did you find this place? It's amazing." Michelle was amazing and was so helpful. Shanahan's Barn will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so lucky for it to be part of our special day!

I grew up visiting northern Michigan with my family and have loved it ever since, so when my then fiancee asked me where I wanted to get married it was my first thought. We looked at several other venues but nothing compared to Shanahan's Barn and the staff there. We were planning our wedding from California without a wedding planner but Michelle played a huge part in making everything go smoothly (the day was perfect) and kept our (meaning my wife's) stress level to a minimum through it all. She was super responsive and had a lot of great advice for us from start to finish. It could not have turned out the same way without her help. The day of the wedding the staff members at the barn were all very friendly and made all of our guests feel welcome. The barn and the surrounding area are beautiful and everyone who attended was impressed - especially those attending their first barn wedding. To get an idea of just how impressive Shanahan's Barn can be I suggest looking at Michael Murphy's photography. The space can hold 300+ people but even with about 75 it was lively and didn't feel empty. I want to say thank you very much to Michelle and Shanahan's Barn for helping us have the perfect wedding! This was the most beautiful venue I have ever stepped foot in, and I got to get married there! From day one, Michelle was nothing but absolutely amazing to work with and made the wedding planning process a breeze. During what could be a very stressful time, Michelle's positive attitude and high sense of urgency really set the management apart. People are still talking about how beautiful the barn was, and I had a ton of people ask where this was when I posted our wedding pictures on Facebook. Having our wedding at Shanahan's barn was honestly the best decision we could have made. It was truly a fairy tale wedding. I wish I could attach pictures here.... but just trust me!

We had our wedding at Shanahan’s Barn three weeks ago, and are already missing the Barn and Michelle the Coordinator so much! Planning a destination wedding from across the country without a planner was a challenge, but Michelle made it such a breeze! She was extremely thoughtful, patient, understanding, and attentive; just genuinely such a sweet & kind soul! We knew it the very first moment we met Michelle at the Barn that we were dying to work with her. She was the reason we chose the Barn, and so happy that we did. Shanahan’s Barn was absolutely gorgeous & spacious; had a rustic feel yet so elegant and neat. I utilized the newly renovated restroom lounging area while waiting for the ceremony to begin/for touch-up sessions during the reception, and it was very comfortable. The upstairs loft space for ceremony was breathtaking; our families & guests were very impressed. We also used Michelle’s services in organizing/coordinating our rehearsal/ceremony, and with her amazing guidance everything went flawless. We can go on and on, but hope you would do yourself a favor by not looking further. Shanahan’s Barn is the dream place to get married & Michelle is the best coordinator you can ever imagine! From the first time we stepped into the barn, we knew that that is where we were going to start our journey together! Pictures do not do this barn justice. We just got married on October 20th 2018, it was so cold! Michelle and owners helped us get so many heaters during the week of the wedding. They worked so hard to make sure we were going to be comfortable. Michelle was already right there to talk when you needed her at any time and could answer any questions! We now have guests writing us thank you notes saying how amazing the venue was and how everything was just perfect. Gray Gables catered and I don’t think there was a plate left with food on it. The bathrooms were great for final touches and getting my dress on. The dance floor was great and really brought everything together. I can’t wait to see our pictures!

My daughter wanted an outdoor wedding in the Charlevoix or Petoskey Michigan area. We sited three venues before we met Michelle from Shanahan's Barn. My wife passed away a year prior to cancer and it was very emotional planning for a wedding. After the visit, I told Michelle of my story and she said she would make it special in memory of my wife. When we back for a second visit, Michelle ran out of the barn and gave my daughter a big hug. At that moment, I looked at my daughter and said this is the venue for your wedding and your mother would approve. Michelle was amazing and helpful planning the wedding with my daughter who lived in Florida. The caterer Michelle recommended was outstanding and we couldn't have found a more perfect and beautiful venue. Michelle and her husband were there throughout the entire wedding to make sure there were no issues. Shanahan's Barn is awesome and my family and friends are stilling talking about the wedding and ceremony.

I would love to say my wedding went off without a hitch but that is just not true! It was storming...not just raining. Also we had a medical incident with an ambulance in attendance during cocktail hour. But despite all the crazy the venue and Michelle and her team was simply perfection. My ceremony was moved inside and ended up being gorgeous. Michelle was wonderful in organizing and helping us coordinate around the days obstacles. We have received nothing but compliments from our guests on how nice and spacious the venue was. Michelle was so accommodating and we gladly recommend the amazing venue to any future bride and groom.

Shanahan's Barn is the PERFECT venue!!! Michelle Grunch, the venue coordinator, is by far the most helpful coordinator you could ever have as you plan your wedding. She is willing to answer questions, offer advice, and put you at ease as you endeavor the wedding planning process. The barn itself is extremely spacious and beautiful, and it allows for you to create whatever theme or vision you have for your wedding. I got married on 9.21.2018, and four days later, my guests can't stop gushing over the venue. This is not a normal "barn" wedding - it is an elegant and creative space that you will absolutely love to decorate and make your own!

Shanahan's Barn is an absolutely stunning venue. It's size is immense and there is plenty of room for guests and activities. The staff is attentive and organized. I highly recommend Shanahan's for your vintage, rustic wedding.

This venue is a rustic chic dream. We got married here in July of 2018 and it was honestly the most perfect spot for us to start the rest of our lives. The barn is absolutely beautiful by itself but when its all dolled up with flowers and drapes its just drop dead gorgeous. All of our guests were in absolute awe of how romantic of a setting it was. Not only is the barn fabulous but Michelle who runs the barn is a dream to work with. She is so friendly and really just made our experience so easy. From the ceremony in the meadow to the cocktail hour and through dinner she was there every step of the way making sure everything was perfect.

My husband and I came up north last summer to look at venues for our wedding, and Shanahan's was the first we looked at. The second we walked into the barn we knew it was meant to be but our parents encouraged us to look at at least one more venue. That lasted about four minutes when we made them turn the car around and book! Having our wedding at Shanahan's was nothing short of a dream. Pictures will absolutely never do it justice, you just need to go experience it in person. The best part is that you can go all out or you can do the minimum and the barn will blow your guests out of the water either way! Walking into the barn is an empty canvas which gives you unlimited potential to make it your own! As if the beauty of the barn isn't enough - the coordinator, Michelle, makes it even better! Michelle, you were a dream to work with and it was amazing to have you there on our wedding day. Every time I turned around, Michelle was there assuring me everything was going perfect and that I looked stunning :) If you want a memorable wedding that your guests will talk about for years to come, book Shanahan's!

We recently got married at Shanahan's Barn in May, and it was the absolute best day of our lives. Everything was seriously perfect. The barn is so gorgeous, and we received so many compliments from people saying it was the most magical and beautiful wedding venue they have been to! The bathrooms are recently renovated and are so nice, the ceremony/dance floor area is stunning, and there is so much space for a large group of people! The staff was incredible and made sure that everything was absolutely perfect for us. Michelle, the event coordinator is phenomenal! She was readily available via call, text, or email whenever we needed her, and she is so sweet! The staff took extra time to make sure everything was in order, and we didn't have to lift a finger on the big day. Michelle was there the whole time checking on us and making sure everything was running smoothly! She even continued to check in on us after the wedding, and helped us sell some of our decorations, she truly goes above and beyond and cares so much about her clients! I highly recommend having your wedding here, we would do it again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just got married at Shanahan's Barn on 9/9/17 and all I can say is WOW! Shanahan's was one of only two venues that we looked at and when we first stepped foot in the barn we instantly knew it was where we wanted to get married, and we couldn't be happier with the decision we made! At times I felt a bit distanced while planning my wedding since we live almost 4 hours away downstate. However, every time I had a question and emailed Michelle she always had a prompt response for me. Through communicating and being detailed on my questionnaire, everything on our big day went exactly as planned and could not have been more perfect! The weekend of our wedding Michelle, Marty and the entire staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating to make sure we had everything that we needed and let us in the barn to drop off and pick up things whenever we needed! It was truly heartwarming how friendly they all were! So many of our guests have commented what a beautiful and unique place Shanahan's Barn was for a wedding! I wish we could have a wedding there every weekend because it was just that amazing!

Our wedding was beautiful here. We had our ceremony indoors and I love how our pictures turned out from the lighting through the barn wood. Michelle and her team are great to work with...they made sure everything was set up perfect for the day. The bar staff were so much fun, dancing with the guests as they came up to the bar for a drink. :) Highly recommend if you are looking for a location your guests will not be able to stop talking about weeks after! :)

I had my wedding at Shanahan's barn on June 3, 2017. The barn was stunning! It was a dream come true. The venue coordinator, Michelle was AWESOME, so friendly and responded fast to any questions I had and helped with anything I needed. I've heard nothing but good comments from my guests about the barn. The bathrooms were newly installed and turned out perfect. I would definitely recommend the barn for any event, especially weddings. Looking forward to having an anniversary party there someday in the future!

We got married here at the Barn on 9/17/16. While there were some very minor and initial hiccups determining whom from the CC of C staff was going to be supporting our event, overall the event and support from the barn was outstanding, thank you Janna and Alana for your last minute help. We had our ceremony outside on their newly cut ceremony site, it was perfect and the coordination of getting the chairs back into the barn could not have gone smoother. Thank you Shanahan's for the even of a lifetime. I'd highly recommend planning your event here. All our guests commented on how beautiful the space was, they could not believe it.

This venue is perfect for a big wedding and is so gorgeous. We got so lucky because we had our ceremony on the beach nearby and then had our reception here, we were fortunate enough to be able to have some previous weddings leave up some decorations that we paid them for but with this venue you have to do all of the decorations yourself, which is feat in itself because of the sheer amount of space. My main issue with the barn is the expense, not only do you pay to rent to space but you have to get all your alcohol and drinks though them so there is a huge upcharge for those, they worked with us with what we wanted, just a simple beer , cider, wine, soda, lemonade and tea sort of situation because that is all we could afford. They had a certain amount of tables and chairs that came with the venue. And because we wanted a completely vegan wedding we went with their restaurant The Bistro for our catering and for our rehearsal dinner. Most of the food ended up being pretty good but I regret not doing a taste test because they used the wrong items at times, for examples they used soft firm tofu where there should have been a different kind of tofu and the "falafel" was just plain horrible. And there were some communication issues with what was expected and what was happening with some of the tables and for example I just assumed that the cake serving wear would be out on the cake table and was not when we went to go cut the cake. However those were just a few tiny issues compared to what otherwise was a wonderful experience. Our coordinator Michelle was completely amazing, she helped us make our day exactly what we wanted and basically jumped at our every whim. She even was there to make sure everything went smoothly on our day, and I don't think she stays for most weddings, but we had so many specific requests that she wanted it to be perfect. We were even so lucky to get the have access to the barn 3 or 4 days in advance and we were able to load all of our decorations into the venue and then we were able to setup the day before and the break everything down the day after, we were lucky that no one booked a Friday wedding or a Sunday wedding. Michelle even helped us find some local rentals for some guests that wanted to split a cabin to stay for the wedding. Overall, while we had some communication issues in the beginning and some issue with the chef at The Bistro, Michelle and this venue were such a delight to work with and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. *Note cost includes venue rental, drinks and food costs.

My husband and I started to look at barns right away when we got engaged. I went to a few in the northern Michigan vuenues and none of them had the space we really wanted, or the potential to be a great indoor/ outdoor options for ceremony ( which is a necessity in Northern Michigan) , until we saw Shanahan's barn. We had rain on our wedding day, and had planned for our ceremony to be outside. After seeing the ceremony set up in the barn, I realized that the rain was a gift from God because the location in the barn was BEAUTIFUL for our ceremony, and the day wouldn't have been as great if the weather held up, and we were able to be outside. I honestly heard at least 70 people that said "We've been going to weddings for 50 years, and this is the most beautiful one we've been to" and "This is a wedding we will never forget", and I do owe a lot of that to Charlevoix Country Club, and especially Michelle, the coordinator. With a lot of elders, who never experienced a barn wedding, I must admit, although it was my husband and I's day, I obviously cared about their experience,and was worried what they would think. I know that my, and my husbands parents heard "They're getting married in what? A Barn?. " Yes its not traditional, but everyone was amazed, and told me what they expected was nothing of what they experienced. " I never imagined it would be so elegant and beautiful". The food was delicious ( going through the Bistro at the CCC) and wasn't the same food that is catered for all of the other weddings you go to. This may be a "stupid bride confession" but i read articles after articles and wasted so much time reading "how to make your wedding unforgettable" and this venue helped me with that goal! Everything was truly awesome and I would recommend Michelle, and this barn to anyone who wants a unique, beautiful, elegant wedding. (Thanks Michelle, you rock!)

The wedding coordinator, Michelle, is terrific. We were interested in Shanahan's Barn, which is a huge, gorgeous newly renovated space. Our event isn't going to be big enough to fill this space, but it's worth seeing. It can easily hold 500 people. The clubhouse is beautiful too, if you want something more traditional. Michelle told us that the catering is done by the chef who ran the very popular Bistro restaurant in Charlevoix. Honestly, it was really tough to say no to this place because of everything it had to offer, but it was just too big for our needs. Michelle is incredible.

My husband and I looked at several other venues in the Charlevoix area before visiting the Charlevoix Country Club and no of them seemed to be what we were looking for. The minute we walked into the country club, we knew this had to be the place for our reception. It was elegant without being overly stuffy- which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Krista was great to work with and was available to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated as I was planning my wedding from down state and wasn't always able to be in Charlevoix. Our one reservation about the country club was that our dance floor was in seperate room from the tables, but it ended up being the best thing! It forced our guests onto the dance floor and people had an amazing time! We even had to ask people to leave at the end. The food was excellent too! We got so many compliments! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Very nice venue, will decorate if requested. Excellent food.;Get everything in writing, managers changed, dealt with 3 different people, little harder to follow up.
