Come wedding day, Shane made the whole day INCREDIBLE. He’s so professional, cheerful, calm, and efficient. On top of how seamless he made the day, his wife is his other half ready to take on the editing and get your pictures back to you in the fastest turn around any of my friends who have gotten married experienced. Shane is the best of the best. I like to pretend I’m not picky, but we talked to MANY photographers before we found him. I was really intentional when choosing vendors that we chose people that we felt we could enjoy the day with. We wanted to work with people that had great energy and shared our excitement for our big day. I was specific about not wanting to spend a ton of time taking posed pictures but that I still wanted the important moments captured. I'm not sure if it's Shane's energy, his approach to photography, or the way he structured the day, but I felt like we hardly spent any time taking pictures and he got so many incredible shots. He knows so much about the wedding industry and had so many helpful hints to make us feel comfortable and calm all day. He and his wife are a team I couldn't imagine our day without. He filled far more roles than just photographer and made our day so perfect. He never interrupted special moments to make for a good picture- and yet got pictures of every single thing we could have ever wanted. If you want to work with a one-man hype crew, fashion expert, and just genuinely good person, Shane is the only person to go with.

We loved everything about our experience with Shane and Anna. They are incredibly organized, kind, professional, and creative. Shane and his wife, Anna were a dream to work with. Leading up to and following the wedding, my husband and I agreed that hiring Shane was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. Not only did he make us and our families and bridal party feel so comfortable and special, but he also helped us so much with the timeline and helped our wedding day run smoothly. He got all the shots we wanted, and more. He even somehow got the perfect pictures of our 3-year-old flower girls, who usually do not like being photographed. He also got us sneak peaks of our photos the day after the wedding, and the entire wedding gallery back within 1 week- which is unheard of! Hire him now, you won’t find any better!

Shane and family are INCREDIBLE. I knew I would love their work after looking at Shane’s portfolio, but, they really are the whole package. So many guests complimented Shane’s uplifting attitude throughout the day, how he was effortless able to capture beautiful photos, and make everyone feel so comfortable. I really wanted a clean and simple approach to the photography to authentically capture our day and Shane over delivered! I would recommend a million times over.

If anyone thinks there is someone better than Shane Long, I'd like to see your argument. He is the most phenomenal photographer a bride could ask for! His creativity, his overall confidence in his work, as well as how comfortable he makes you feel puts the icing on the cake. I haven't even looked through all of our wedding photos and we are completely blown away. We cannot say enough great things about Shane! It would be a mistake to not have him part of your day! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!! 100% BEST decision we made during the wedding processes was hiring Shane and his amazing family. They took time to chat with us prior to booking and we spent time getting to know each other! They made the intimidating process of planning a wedding so much more manageable. During our cocktail hour, Shane was uploading and editing photos to his laptop for guests to see. We even received our entire wedding album within a week of our wedding. It’s hard to put into words how wonderful Shane Long Photography is. Every couple has different priorities for their wedding and what is most important to them… for us, this was the photos as they are what you have to help remember your day even after it is over. I didn’t realize until the day of how directly involved a photographer is throughout the entire day, and even planning leading up until the wedding… Shane made us feel so comfortable and confident at our wedding and throughout the planning process. So many of our guests commented on how lovely his team was- they have this way of making you feel like they’re old friends of yours. So, not only did they capture MANY amazing moments from our special day, but they also made it an honor to have them with us at our wedding. Shane produced some of the greatest wedding photos I have ever seen and blew us away with all the shots he captured. Anna (his wife) did an amazing job helping coordinate everything, and edited photos in such a way that every photo takes you back to that moment- none of those cheesy Instagram edits! Austin (their son) helped on the day of and was so professional and courteous- really hope he can help them expand their business as SLP is so popular!!! Additionally, we hired an extra photographer through Shane and she was just as amazing as everyone else on their team! Shane and Anna are an incredible duo! From day one, Shane was a calming, positive, and professional presence, and he is a big reason why we had such an amazing wedding day. WOW WOW WOW!!! We hired Shane after our engagement pictures turned out to not be what we loved and I am so happy that we hired him! I’m going to be completely honest by saying that I have been sitting at my desk for the past 30 minutes trying to come up with the strongest review possible for Shane Long Photography. The truth is, words could never express just how amazing Shane and his wife Anna are not only as a photography business and their exceptional quality of services, but also as individuals. I have known of Shane and Anna for over 10 years, as Shane took my senior pictures 11 years ago. I was so impressed by the quality of my pictures then that when I got engaged over a year ago, the one single thing I wanted at my wedding was for Shane to be our photographer; I didn’t care about anything else. To this day, I am so beyond grateful that I was able to book Shane for our wedding this past Saturday. Shane and Anna are organized, thoughtful, and wonderful communicators. I loved that they sent out reminder e-mails when a payment was due – it was one less thing for me to remember and keep track of. Shane makes you feel comfortable when you’re taking photos, which is huge when you’re an awkward human being like I am! Furthermore, my entire bridal party and family/friends were blown away by Shane’s friendly personality. We received a sneak peak of our wedding photos and they are STUNNING. I don’t know how they can possibly make each photo look so perfect. I wish I could give Shane and Anna 100 stars for their services because they are absolutely wonderful - I cannot recommend them enough!

Shane Long is absolutely one of the best in the business. When we got engaged, I knew Shane Long had to be our photographer, so he was the first vendor I reached out to, to inquire about booking. He actually did my senior photos 10 years ago and I was impressed then. We really loved the light, crisp and airy feel of his photos. He and his wife Anna make the best team and are incredibly prompt with replies to emails and are very organized with their entire process leading up to the wedding. They were timely with reminders for upcoming payments and very thorough with a questionnaire and phone call ahead of time to go through all the details and timeline of our day. The day of, Shane was very prepared and early. He gave great directions to everyone involved in pictures, such as how to stand and how to position yourself to look your best. My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how impressed they were with his direction. He was also great with the kids involved in our day, getting them to laugh, smile and feel comfortable in front of the camera. He also had photos up during our reception from earlier in the day for our guests to enjoy, which also impressed all of our guests. He posted a blog post about our wedding 2 weeks after the event, which we were able to share with our guests and share on social media, and then we received our full gallery of photos 1 month after our wedding day, which we thought was great. We feel like he captured our day better than we could have ever imagined and we will cherish the photos forever!

Shane is literally the best ever. Our engagement photos turned out absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t wait to have him shoot our wedding. During our wedding, Shane was a lifesaver and made sure to keep me on schedule with my timeline. Our photos turned out so amazing, even with our rainy wedding day. We used Shane Long Photography for our engagement and wedding photos in 2021. They had great recommendations on where to go for our engagement photo session and what to wear, which was a huge help. Shane captured our personalities and special moments beautifully on our wedding day. Plus Shane made the experience fun and easy! Shane and Anna were very responsive throughout the entire process and the final turnaround time in delivering our wedding album was soooo fast and yet high quality. My husband and I used Shane for our wedding photography this summer and couldn't recommend him more!! For both our wedding and engagement pictures, Shane made us feel comfortable and at ease while also making picture-taking a really fun experience (which as two people who hate getting pictures taken, was a huge surprise!). We know this thought was shared by many of our guests too, as we had several people comment on how fun Shane was. Anna was always extremely organized, professional, and prompt in answering any questions we had - from getting our initial quote to following up with last minute questions we had before our wedding. Being from out-of-state, we didn't get a chance to meet Shane/Anna in person before booking our services, but conversations with Anna alone made us feel like we were in good hands and had made a great decision in working with them. Our photos are absolutely stunning, and we received our full album much quicker than we anticipated. We hired Shane to take our engagement photos. We were both super nervous going into our engagement session because we are NOT great at taking photos. Hiring a solid photographer was a priority for our wedding and after working with Shane and Anna we could not be more thrilled and over the moon excited about how our photos turned out!! Shane was our wedding photographer, and he was just amazing. I can't recommend him highly enough. We first picked him because his photographs are gorgeous. He does a great job of capturing moments (rather than just setting up "cookie cutter" poses in nice lighting). But he's also a pleasure to work with. He has a wealth of wedding tips, and you can tell that he just loves helping people have the best experience possible (and also get great photos). Also, Shane went above and beyond for our wedding. First, when we had to delay the wedding for a year because of COVID, he understood and worked with us. Second, on the wedding day we had a last-minute make-up emergency (two hours before the wedding), and Shane went above and beyond to help us figure it all out. He practically saved the wedding, and still gave us hundreds of gorgeous photos. He's an absolute champ. I can't imagine a better photographer (or person to have around at a wedding).

My husband and I booked Shane and Anna pretty early on about a year a half out from our big day because we fell in love with their work and their fun personalities! We did two sets of engagement photos with Shane before we got married May of 2021 all of our photos turned out beautifully! Shane really knows how to work with all groups! He is really great with kids and getting them to look at him and smile! He really made our day and sessions together so much fun! We 100% recommend him and wish we could do it all over again!!

We could not have been happier to work with Shane & Anna throughout our wedding process. Being a bride during COVID was difficult enough that when we decided to move our wedding date up (more than a month) one of our non-negotiable was whether or not Shane could still shoot our wedding. Shane Long Photography provided the perfect experience for our engagement photos and wedding day! As I was planning my own wedding, I greatly appreciated Anna's quick response times and friendly communications throughout the entire wedding planning process. Shane was a wonderful photographer - he braved single digit temperatures for our February engagement session and captured all the important moments on the big day. He even got a family photo that included five kids under the age of 4 all looking and smiling at the camera! We are extremely pleased with our experience and the timeless photos we received.

All you have to do is take a look through the photos and blog posts online to see the quality of work that comes with booking Shane and Anna for your wedding (and we highly suggest that you do). What you don’t see is the high level of service that comes with it all! Between the quick responses to our simple questions and the little check in cards during the planning process, Shane and Anna make you feel like you are the most important event coming up, even during the height of wedding season! Their breadth of experience gives you the sense that they have seen, and survived, it all which definitely helped to ease the planning "are we missing anything?" jitters. On our big day Shane was prompt and timely at each location which was a huge help with our tight schedule at multiple sites. He would shift from posing people (including some small kids and one pup) for fabulous group shots to melting away for the genuine candids and back to laughing along with the craziness in a blink of an eye. The turn around for the photos was also fantastic, and that’s not counting the preview slide show that was up and running at the start of our reception! We still can’t stop looking at all the pics like it was the day we first saw them, bringing us right back to the day we said “I do” and now the only problem is finding more wall space and frames for them all. Thank you, Shane and Anna, for helping to capture these memories we will keep rest of our lives!

We're so happy we chose to work with Shane and Anna. The entire experience was great, but I've selected a couple noteworthy points to highlight: - Prompt communication. Emails and phone calls were answered quickly. This high level of organization was maintained from first contact all the way through the wedding day. - Great energy. Exactly the type of personality you want on your big day. Shane is enthusiastic and orchestrated the group shots very smoothly. I also appreciated the subtle tips and direction when necessary to pose the portraits perfectly. - The photos! We had a perfect balance of both posed and candid shots. The digital gallery was shared with us within a week with download access to full resolution photos in both color and B&W. It almost seems like an afterthought to mention the incredible quality of the photos, which were edited to be timeless and not trendy. Cannot recommend highly enough, 5/5, 10/10, 100/100

We just had Shane shoot our wedding and he did such an amazing job. He was friendly and accommodating but also made it fun and stress free! Shane took photos for my brothers wedding a few years ago and the pictures he took were stunningly high quality, well beyond any wedding photographer I had ever seen. Needless to say, we knew exactly that's why we wanted Shane, however we couldn't have anticipated the impact that Shane would have on our wedding day from start to finish. He brings an ineffable amount of experience, helping guide us through our big day with ease and excitement. It was more than we bargained for, our wedding day would have been far different had we not had Shane. Especially after driving 5 hours down on the morning of and going strong all the way until late into the night. We are truly grateful!

10/10! Shane and his wife Anna have been one of our favorite vendors to work with throughout the wedding planning process. We initially did our engagement pictures with them and then had such a wonderful experience we did not even hesitate to have Shane Long Photography shoot our wedding day. The process was smooth from the contract, day of timeline, over view phone call- all these were great! My only feedback is payment process could have more reminders and easier payment method. Maybe more payment increments or more payment options? We loved our wedding photos and truly something we will have for a lifetime! We received so many compliments on how Shane was able to capture our day!
