We did our engagement session nine months before our wedding; as two very camera-shy people, Shannon made us feel so comfortable, and her warm, kind, professional, and creative spirit made for an amazing experience and some beautiful pictures. We couldn't wait to have Shannon photograph our wedding, and words cannot describe how blown away we were, both with our experience on the day-of and our photos. On our wedding day, Shannon and her incredible second photographer felt like an extension of our family, effortlessly and beautifully capturing the day as it unfolded, while making us and our families feel so natural and comfortable. Her attention to detail has allowed us to revisit and revel in the stunning details of the day. We implicitly trusted her vision for capturing our perfect day, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When we received our sneak peaks in the days after our wedding, I was immediately transported back to the day--which inevitably had passed way too quickly--and was absolutely speechless. It was such a gift, seeing our celebration through the eyes of someone so talented and thoughtful. We cannot wait to see all of our pictures in the coming weeks, but I already know they'll be works of art. I'll be calling on Shannon at every opportunity to capture our family's biggest moments.

dding, Shannon made the experience so personal and so special. She really prioritized getting to know me and my husband before the wedding and even met up with us for drinks at our favorite local chinese restaurant! She is laid back, has a great sense of humor, and on the day of the wedding managed to keep that same calm and positivity while being so efficient and professional! We are not ones to pose for pictures with ease, but Shannon made everything so EASY. She knew the right angles and was able to give straight forward directions without making us feel unnatural and awkward. And last...our photos came out absolutely beautiful. Not only is she skilled at composing and editing stunning photos, she has an eye for what is important to capture and when, and without us even knowing it. From photos of our parents watching during the ceremony with tears in their eyes, to a close up of me and my grandmother's hands as we spoke (which I had no idea she took!) she captured moments that I would never think to specifically ask someone to capture, but that I will cherish forever. I am so happy I chose Shannon as our wedding photographer and could not recommend her more highly!
