We used Shannon Michael Style for my wedding on October 19, 2019. We had moms, grandmas, bridesmaids, and myself... and everyone left the chair feeling beautiful and happy! Heather...
was our hair stylist and Emily was our make-up artist. Heather and Emily were truly fantastic. They both were knowledgeable, kind, and warm. Which is great on the big day! They gave us all big hugs and felt truly excited for the day. The only reason I gave the company 4-stars is due to not always having the easiest time reaching the company itself. But, I still highly recommend this company due to the talented artists. And once I had the artists contact information, they were super quick to respond back to me and answer any questions I had.
Shannon was there while I was trying on dresses, which I think is super helpful and cool, since she is the designer. She helps you to really narrow down the dresses and find the pe...
rfect one. I like that she also gives some input on what she thinks when you need it. She is just absolutely great and her dresses are gorgeous!
Unfortunately, my experience with Shannon Michael Style was not positive. Throughout booking her, it was difficult to contact Shannon and schedule the trial. She claimed that she w...
as sick for a week before my wedding and her assistant didn't get back with my calls and e-mails. When I did go to my trial, it was hard to find and was in a house with no sign. It felt shady at first. Then, once I got to my trial the stylist doing my hair had no knowledge of the emails I had sent with the hair and makeup I had wanted. So I had to try to find them on my phone. The trial ended up looking good and I was really happy with the results. However, on my wedding day the results were not as good. My fake eyelashes fell out about 20 minutes after my stylist left, and I couldn't even take pictures with them. Before the ceremony started, my chignon bun was falling out and I had to have my bridesmaids pin it with bobby pins. It looked really messy and my hair was the last thing I wanted to worry about on my wedding day. When I e-mailed Shannon after my wedding telling her I was not happy about my results, she responded saying she was "so sorry." She wanted to talk to me after the holidays were over and wanted to know my availability to talk on the phone. I told her my availability, but, once again, she never got back with me or followed up to talk on the phone. I paid over $700 for this service and expected way more. I'm extremely disappointed and do not recommend.
If I could give Shannon and her team more than 5 stars then I surely would!! Not only was Shannon prompt with her communication prior to our wedding but she and her team made our ...

Couldn’t have been happier with Shannon Micha
Shannon and the team at Shannon Michael Style are AMAZING! I’m an out-of-town bride (from NYC) and am so happy that we went with her for our July wedding. Incredibly knowledgeable,...
helpful, and responsive via phone/email from the beginning to the end. I knew I wanted to go with her from our initial phone call because she put me at ease with planning our wedding from another state and answered my many questions about. Emily and Heather made up the team that did my makeup/hair trial and on-site wedding day makeup/hair. (Shannon conveniently fit my trial into the schedule when I was briefly in town for mid-winter break.) Could not have asked for a better duo! They are SO talented and worked with me to ensure that my hair and makeup were exactly what I was hoping for going into my wedding day. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their results! Fun fact: my good friend in Ohio who attended my wedding also has Heather and Emily doing the makeup/hair for her September wedding! Thank you so much for making our day extra special, Shannon! <3 Mary
I HIGHLY recommend her! I am beyond happy with the way my hair and makeup both looked! Shannon is the BEST!

wedding party and myself that my maid of honor (sister) booked her for her wedding as well! I could not be more pleased with her skills and attention to detail. I truly felt like a queen on my big day.
Shannon did a fabulous job! I had multiple hair trials with her because she could tell I wasn’t in love with my first one. Offered advice and gave honest opinions when I asked for ...
them. She gave me a completely flawless make up look and when I told her I think I’d feel more comfortable with a more natural sheer coverage she nailed that as well. All of my girls looked great day of. I would say my only downfall with Shannon was she would sometimes takes days to respond to me. When planning an out of town wedding multiple appoints would take place while we were in town and all my plans would be waiting until I would finally hear back from her.
Shannon was an incredible partner. I was lucky enough to book her on my wedding day on which they had recently had a cancelation. Given we had a shorter time frame to work around, ...
she expedited her process to meet my needs. We did not do a trial due to geographic and time constraints, but I knew I could trust her skills and expertise. I was so confident throughout our email correspondence and phone conversations (she knows her stuff!!). She was a true professional both leading up to and on the big day. She arrived early and got right to work helping us put a system and flow in place for the chaotic morning. It was absolutely seamless. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Shannon listened to everyone's personal needs while still maintaining a cohesive look in the wedding party. Not only was she a dream to work with, she truly made me feel stunning on my wedding day. I am so grateful that I found her! I would absolutely recommend Shannon. Should I need makeup services again in the future, she's my girl! Thank you for making our morning seamless, fun, and beautiful, Shannon! xoxo -Aleksa
