About this vendor
Hi, I'm Shannon! As someone who doesn't like getting my picture taken, I think it's incredibly important to keep a fun and laidback approach to photography. I delight in creating comfortable environments to ensure my clients' authentic chemistry are seen through their images.
I first became passionate about photography in high school. Since then, I am proud to have developed my hobby into a career path. In addition to wedding photography, I enjoy landscape, astrophotography, senior portraits, family portraits, boudoir, and pet photography (I have two incredibly loving yet energetic labrador retrievers, Jake and Jovie).
No matter your photography vision, I would love to help bring it to life. On your big day, I will be there to capture the heartfelt highlights, thoughtful details, and candid moments while we have fun doing so. I'll even join you on the dance floor if you so wish! Many of my clients have become friends, which is probably the greatest gift of being a photographer. :)

sion for the day. She captured every moment beautifully, and our wedding photos are everything we dreamed of and more. We felt so comfortable in front of her camera, and she made the entire process effortless and fun. We will treasure these photos forever and are so grateful we chose her to document such a special day. Thanks again Shannon!
Shannon is truly incredible—just book her! From the moment I saw her breathtaking dog photography, along with her stunning landscapes and masterful use of light, I knew she was the...
one we wanted for our big day. She exceeded every expectation. As a one-woman powerhouse, Shannon captured every moment beautifully—and then some. Her photos are absolutely breathtaking, some of the most stunning I’ve ever seen.
Beyond her talent, it was Shannon’s energy and spirit that made the day even more special. She was kind, calm, and such a joy to be around. Everyone who met her couldn’t stop raving about how fabulous she was. If you want to take the stress out of your big day, do yourself a favor and book Shannon—you won't regret it.
Shannon is absolutely amazing! She is communicative, warm, friendly, and very professional. We had Shannon shoot our wedding at Hyatt Carmel Highlands Inn. We did an 8 hour package...
which included an engagement shoot which we also did in the Carmel area. We really appreciated the engagement shoot because it gave us a chance to meet Shannon in person before the big day and it helped ease our nerves as we are awkward and stiff in front of a camera. She is great at providing direction and pose recommendations that felt natural and true to our relationship. Her style feels warm and natural and she captures amazing golden hour photos. Our engagement photos were delivered within two weeks and we received our full wedding album about two months after our wedding date. We also felt that Shannon's rates were very reasonable, especially for the quality of service she offers. I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a photographer!

sidence, and Shannon did her homework, scoping out the place online and arriving early to scope out the location in person. She came prepared with cool ideas for shots and locations. Plus, she threw in some awesome suggestions for shots we hadn't even thought about. Shannon made everything feel easy on the day of, and the photos turned out way better than we could have imagined. Thanks a bunch, Shannon, for being a rockstar photographer and making our day extra special! We’d highly recommended having Shannon as your photographer.

he beginning. When the sun wasn't cooperating for our beach sunset photos, she went the extra mile (literally!) to help us chase down our best location. She made us all feel at ease, and the end result was amazing family photos! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

ul coastal background and sunset lighting. She was also positive, easy to work with, and had great recommendations about the local spots to shoot, and hair & makeup vendors. The photos came out great and there were so many good options, it was hard to choose our final set to keep. We’d definitely recommend Shannon and would work with her again!

s and got us the photos back in time insanely quickly so we could add them onto our wedding website. During our wedding, Shannon seriously ran the show and got every shot that we wanted. She also gave us time to actually enjoy our event which I appreciated so much. While being extremely professional, Shannon is also super fun and it felt just like having another friend at our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer :) Thank you Shannon!
Shannon was everything we could have wished for! She created a custom photo package for us based on our specific needs. We really wanted some special photos of our wedding and wow ...
did she make that happen. I emailed a shot list, inspiration photos, and a schedule to Shannon and she was very responsive to all my communications. She arrived EARLY on the wedding day and had all the specific shots I wanted printed out so we didn’t miss anything. She was professional and fun to be around. We had a great time during all the photos, despite the weather being a little cold and windy. I was nervous about the outcome because of the wind but with the photos we received, you would think there was just a slight breeze! Shannon provided the most beautiful photos that were exactly the aesthetic I wanted. I could not be happier that we got to work with her and would recommend her photography for anyone looking to capture all the love, laughter, and sweet moments on their special day.

amily wedding. The photos were better than we could've imagined. She was so kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She was extremely knowledgable and captured every large and small moment that made us smile that day! We were initially worried that it would feel awkward posing for photos, or what we would even do, but Shannon was so gracious and fun - she made us feel completely comfortable. Shannon was always one step ahead and was amazing at pivoting to capture the best shot: the sun was getting in the way of our initial family photo location and within seconds she found a better location that had great lighting. Shannon was able to find a magical first-look location as we were getting ready and we didn't even know that spot existed at the venue! We were so grateful to work with Shannon, and can't wait to work with her again for maternity photoshoots and family photos. We adore her, and she will make any bride's wedding photo dreams come true!
Shannon was a dream to work with! She was super professional and easy to work with. I’m a pretty shy in front of a camera but she was still able to get amazing shots of our wedding...
day. She took the time to even get a few shots of the venue when we didn’t ask her to. Shannon was able to get the whole album of photos edited and sent over super quickly as well! If you are looking for a great photographer she is definitely the one!
Shannon was amazing from beginning to end. She met us at the venue prior to our wedding to walk the property and preplan where she might take the best pictures. She made suggestion...
s as to how we should set up the ceremony (we were married at a private home). On the day of the wedding she jumped in and worked as our photographer and wedding planner (we didn't have one!). She kept us on schedule and ensured the evening flowed seamlessly. Shannon also worked well with our other vendors. Our photos were edited and back to us within two weeks of the ceremony and they were gorgeous! We can't recommend Shannon Michelle enough! You won't regret the decision to make her part of your big day.
If you don’t have a photographer who quickly brushes off a fall to keep the photos going, then you don’t have a photographer who cares enough. Shannon did amazing with our wedding ...
photos - she was very accommodating and customized her photo package for our location and wedding style. Photos into the night weren’t going to work at our wedding venue and didn’t fit the laid back vibe we wanted, so Shannon helped us with a wedding package that included pictures at our rehearsal dinner but left our guests in peace as the sun set and the reception swung into gear. The photos came out like a dream, and the editing has the perfect classic tones that we wanted. We, our families, and the wider Internet agree that Shannon does an amazing job.
UPDATE: Three years later, and we still can’t stop staring at our entire wedding collection. Not to mention that both I and my mom still have wedding photos as our phone lock background. It's just the perfect shot of a beautiful moment in nature and a very in-love couple (beating out 3 new grandchildren since our wedding...)
Shannon is phenomenal. She has an eye for beauty and effortless way in capturing love. The memories she captured are priceless. Neither of us like being in front of a camera, but s...
he made us feel comfortable. She’s very responsive, professional, and has a very reasonable turn around with getting us sneak peeks and our entire edited album. I would choose her again and again.
