Born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, I have always been surrounded by the beauty Hawaii has to offer. Hawaii has the bluest oceans and extremely lush green mountains which is why my work is vibrant, fun and lively. I want to showcase the lively spirit that Hawaii embodies while capturing your story as well. I believe that photography isn't just about capturing images; it's about capturing emotions, moments, and stories. tographer. We started by meeting six months before my wedding date to discuss photo session options. Shannon thoroughly described the different shots she would take before, during, and after the ceremony as well as how she would best utilize her time depending on which session I chose. She was also very approachable with requests, constantly accommodating my ideas and visions for the day.
On my wedding day, Shannon never wasted a moment of the four hours she was scheduled for. When she wasn’t taking beautiful shots of my husband and I at different locations around the venue, she was asking for our rings, my bouquet, and other items to take creative photos of. At the reception, Shannon was frequently asking if there were any candid photos I wanted her to take of the bride and groom with our family and friends along with the other ideas that she had. Two days after the wedding, Shannon was even thoughtful enough to send me a few photos to use for our thank you cards.
The best way that I can describe Shannon is that she is always on your side, professionally and personally. She is still as positive and as enthusiastic as she was when I first met her, and it’s palpable how much she genuinely loves her job. If you’re lucky enough to be getting married on a day that Shannon is available, don’t wait too long to book her. She is an absolute dream to work with!

There was a slight delay in receiving our pictures after our wedding, but Shannon was communicative throughout the entire process about the cause of the delay and her estimated timeline. The pictures were definitely worth the wait! They turned out beautifully and I can’t stop looking at all of our beautiful photos. When we contacted her, Shannon was super accommodating and explained everything in great detail (packages, walk through, timeline, etc.) Since both my husband and I were off-island, she scheduled several Zoom calls to go through her packages and review everything with us including the arrangements and types of photos we wanted.
Despite all her great work and forethought, we (bride, groom, wedding planners) were absolutely unorganized the day of. But, even in the chaos (we forgot props and our arrangements and just went with the flow), Shannon and her team captured and choreographed a lot of really beautiful and funny moments stunningly! The photos both feel like they capture a lot of who we are and are still so graceful.

Shannon is such an amazing soul and REALLY fun to work with. She's creative with her work and has great suggestions when you don't have ideas. Her work with nature is what really caught my attention and I was drawn to the vibrant colors that she finds in a setting/background to enhance the mood of her work.

They both stuck around all day long to get photos of us from the start of getting ready to the end of night. The day of the wedding, Shannon arrived early, stayed late, got us all the photos we wanted and so many others we didn't know we wanted, but are now so glad we have! After all the time spent emailing with her prior to our wedding, having Shannon as a photographer felt like having a friend along rather than a vendor. Her second shooter, Aaron was equally great. They worked well together and had us at ease the entire time. It's extremely important to remember that Shannon does it all - answers emails/texts/calls, photographs your event, and edits the photos. This business model is what allowed me to feel so comfortable with her before we even met but also means that response times and delivery of final photos may be longer/different than bigger companies. The photos helped us to relive the day and we felt the love, joy, and laughter from our special moments all over again. The package we chose had a wooden box with our photo on it and a cute flash drive in a small corked bottle with all our images from the wedding. I cannot stop looking at our photos and everytime we look at them, my husband brings our pup on the bed, looks at me with his loving look, and gives me a kiss on the forehead to tell me how beautiful I looked. Shannon's work was flawless and I am not sure why she doesn't charge more money as her products are of the extreme highest quality. Not only that, she was an absolute pleasure to work with, taking our engagement photos 6 months before the wedding and making me feel comfortable to be silly for the camera with my fiancé, writing to us and developing a personal relationship with us, and helping to ease our pre-wedding concerns. The trash the dress session was a lot of fun too! I didn't have anyone to help me get back in my dress so I figured I just wouldn't wear it...well she wasn't having any of that and helped me get into my dress herself!
