Our full gallery has blown us away; she captured the emotion and energy of the day beautifully. Our wedding was in May, right before peak season, and Shannon turned everything around quickly. Any minor edits we asked for were done perfectly. On top of all that, there were lovely little touches throughout the process, like a complimentary engagement shoot and a gorgeous box and print she sent with the final images. But beyond the quality of her work, Shannon herself is just the BEST. She’s hilarious, warm, and made everyone feel completely at ease. My husband isn’t usually one for big smiles in photos, but Shannon had us both laughing and relaxed all day; it really shows in every picture. We couldn’t recommend her enough, just book her!

From our very first initial meeting with Shannon, it was very comforting and our conversations flowed naturally. At the end of the call, we left moving forward with her being our photographer. On the day of the wedding, she captured amazing photos exceeding our expectations to include one of our favorite kissing photo with our family in the back having the time of their lives at our wedding. She understood our vision and more. Because we live on the mainland, we were able to have a zoom meeting with her to get to know her a bit and talk to her about what we were wanting. This was a second wedding for both of us, and a small group of just 25 attending, super casual, but I beautiful. I expressed to Shannon I didn't want to do a ton of posed photos, but of course wanted some to capture the moment. She balanced everything perfectly and thought of some unique shots to get as well, working with the venues we chose (Lanikai Beach and Merriman's Honolulu). I feel her pricing is competitive and her contract she has you sign spells out all the details so nothing is a surprise when wedding day comes around. Meeting Shannon in person- she is SO nice, so approachable, so fun, but man does she know her stuff- she is VERY good at what she does. She felt like meeting a real friend, when you just vibe with someone right away. It was a 2-3 month turn around for our photos, as we got married in the busy wedding season of June, but she communicated this with us early on, so it wasn't a surprise. She was quick to get us some sneak peek shots to share with friends and family. The final result we received the other day - just stunning. The way she frames the photos with a creative eye, and helping people feel relaxed when posing photos- well, the finished result is just fantastic. I can't wait to get these photos printed and will be very proud to hang them on the walls of our home- will enjoy them for years and years to come. Thank you Shannon and team!

Shannon showed up on our wedding day with so much poise and confidence and smoothly ran our 4-hour package in a way that was considerate of our timeline, other vendors, and our needs and comfort (especially in the heat and busyness), and made sure we were on time (!!) every step of the way without creating any rush or stress. She was thoughtful of our special requests including creating moments of downtime for me and my husband to rest, and adjusted our photo shoot to maximize fun and efficiency while reducing stress and complexity. My husband and I were always camera shy, so we were nervous about how the photos would turn out given that being photogenic did not come naturally to either of us. Within a couple minutes of our engagement shoot with Shannon, we knew without a doubt that we made the right decision. Not only did her friendly, professional demeanor make us feel comfortable with her from the get go, but the genuine connection we felt with her resulted in final edits that completely blew our expectations. Shannon also pays extra attention to the often overlooked details, which we appreciated given that we couldn't experience every moment in its entirety amidst the chaos of our actual wedding day. After receiving all the shots, we sincerely felt like we were able to relive all of the joy from that day and experience the moments we didn't get the chance to witness. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, choosing Shannon and her team as our wedding photographer was the second best decision we've made aside from actually marrying each other 😂. She took the lead while giving us gentle pointers and guidance to get photos that were a wonderful mix of natural and in the moment images as well as directed stylised poses that didn't look cheesy or overdone. If you have an idea in mind of what you are looking for, Shannon is the one who can make it come to life. And if you don't know what you want, she will make magic happen for you regardless. The whole session we felt like we were just having a great day out sharing lots of laughter with a good friend. Fair warning, you WILL walk away wishing you were friends with this absolute rockstar of a photographer!

On top of that, we asked her to shoot an Indian wedding for the first time and she dove right in! The image quality and colors looked beautiful in each and every photo. She is also SOOO friendly and gives people the confidence they need while taking photos. Will absolutely recommend her friends and family as well as ask her to shoot more photos for us in the future. When we contacted her, Shannon was super accommodating and explained everything in great detail (packages, walk through, timeline, etc.) Since both my husband and I were off-island, she scheduled several Zoom calls to go through her packages and review everything with us including the arrangements and types of photos we wanted. Despite all her great work and forethought, we (bride, groom, wedding planners) were absolutely unorganized the day of. But, even in the chaos (we forgot props and our arrangements and just went with the flow), Shannon and her team captured and choreographed a lot of really beautiful and funny moments stunningly! The photos both feel like they capture a lot of who we are and are still so graceful. We were so happy with her work! We don't think anyone else could have captured our wedding as beautifully as she did, and there really isn't anyone better. Thank you, Shannon!
