Shannon Talamo Films - Wedding Cinematography

We were forced to move our wedding date and down size our guest list because of Covid-19. Shannon was super flexible with us the entire time and always quick to respond to my many emails. Once we were able to actually get married, Shannon turned around the footage of our ceremony in one day so that we could share with those who couldn't attend. Thank you so much Shannon!

Shannon Talamo and his team are so amazing from start to finish! They are all so nice, easy to work with, and they had such great ideas to make our wedding video unique. I honestly didn't even know they were there half the time and was so surprised at the sweetest moments they were able to capture. We just got the "teaser" back within about a week and already cannot stop watching it and reliving our day! I cannot recommend them more if you have an upcoming wedding!

Worth the wait! Oh my word, I cannot sings Shannon's praises highly enough. My best friend had Shannon film her wedding two years ago and ever since I saw her film, I knew I needed Shannon for mine. Even knowing how good Shannon's films are, we were absolutely floored by what he put together for us. My memories of the wedding itself were so fleeting - I was so nervous and excited - it meant so much to actually listen to what our priest said and see all of our guests in attendance. Thank you Shannon and Logan for producing such a perfect keepsake for us.

Cannot say enough great things about Shannon and his team. We just loved how he was able to incorporate so much of the kind words and stories from our wedding day into the highlight. He was able to take every request that we had and improve upon them. He greatly exceeded our high expectations.

Originally we hadn't budgeted for videography for our daughter's wedding. However, after being shown one of Shannon's films by our coordinator, I immediately decided that we wanted something similar for Kate's wedding. The film and videos Shannon produced for us far exceeded our already high expectations. He and his second shooter were so easy to communicate with throughout the wedding day but also knew when to stay back and let the magic happen. I have watched his highlight so many times that I think I know it by heart. I could not have given a better gift to my daughter and son-in-law.

We're so happy that we went with Shannon to film our wedding. We hadn't decided on even having a videographer until the last minute, but hiring him was the best decision we made for the wedding. His team showed up early and made sure we were comfortable on camera throughout production. By the end of the night I forgot he was even there. Loved every aspect of the experience. *****

This review is ridiculously long overdue, but I wanted to give some love to Shannon after seeing him at yet another of my close friends' weddings this past weekend. My husband and I adore the film that Shannon created for us and always enjoy seeing his new work pop up on our newsfeed. He is the best!

Shannon Talamo Films made all of our dreams come true with wedding videography. Shannon and his team work hard to create a detailed and creative vision that allows you to keep your special day for a lifetime. Shannon was very thorough and great at communication. He went above and beyond to make sure the video was absolutely perfect! He added every single detail in the video and captured the message wonderfully. He was my first choice and I am so happy he was available on our wedding day! I HIGHLY recommend!

As I come up near the one year anniversary of my wedding, I can say with certainty that our best decision in the entire planning process was hiring Shannon and his team to cover the day. Originally we were not too interested in having a videographer; but my maid of honor showed me one of Shannon's films and my opinion slowly began to change. Once we determined that we had room in the budget to hire him; we made sure that he was available and booked him. From the first interaction. Shannon was on the ball. He kept us informed without overwhelming us with information or requests. We were so impressed with how quickly he got us and our approach to the wedding. Once we actually had the pleasure to meet he and Logan in person on the wedding day, they just disappeared into the background and let us go about our plans. We forgot they were even there until seeing the teaser they put together for us the Monday following our wedding. From there we could barely contain our excitement as we knew immediately that we made a good choice. When we received the final packaging a few months later, we immediately watched our edited highlight...and then watched it again...and again. All of our expectations were exceeded. Our experience with Shannon Talamo Films would warrant more stars if we could give them.

Shannon is the absolute best. I knew when I booked him that I dug ghost style, but seeing myself in one of his videos had an even greater impact on me than I expected. The video is definitely our most cherished keepsake from the wedding. So happy that we got one and even happier that we were able to get Shannon to create it.

I was the bride that didn’t think I needed videography for my wedding, I thought pictures would be enough. I’m so glad I changed my mind! Shannon and his team were absolutely incredible. They traveled from Baton Rouge, LA to Biloxi, MS for my wedding and were SO reasonable. I had a one minute clip of my wedding in less than a week, when many of my friends have been waiting months to see anything at all. He is so professional and really takes the time to listen to what the couple wants in their wedding video. I’d recommend him again and again. I loved getting the chance to work with them! For starters, I strongly recommend having a videographer capture the side of the wedding that goes beyond the photographs (which are amazing as well!) Not only am I glad I had a videographer, I am even happier my videographer was Shannon Talamo! He and his team are fabulous. Shannon is so easy to work with--he is laid back, responsive, and a true artist. I've only seen my sneak peek trailer at this point, and this is how pleased I am! Finding a videographer was top priority during my wedding planning. I don't have our wedding video yet, but I already know it is going to be amazing. Shannon and his second shooter were so professional. He sent us a detailed timeline ahead of time for the day. Once he arrived day of he explained his plan and made sure to ask about any important/specific details to our day. Shannon worked great along side of the photographer making sure they were both getting all of the angles and footage needed. Once at our venue Shannon even had a videocamera drone to capture aerial footage which my husband loved! We will be anxiously awaiting our video but know it will be perfect!

I cant count how many times Brian and I have watched our wedding film. Everything about it is great. We were so pleased with how Shannon was able to cut together the most meaningful parts of the day with the speeches at the rehearsal dinner the night before. It's simultaneously touching, funny, and very much "us." Cannot recommend high enough.

never knew my husband was a crier until I saw our film. I think that might be what I love most about it. I'm constantly re-watching to see his laugh and smile when I come down the aisle. Shannon and his team disappeared into the background so much that I'm shocked to see the footage they got. A great experience and someone who was truly fun to work with.

He and his team were so much fun and even able to help calm my own nerves a bit as I got ready. It's hard for me to properly express how much we appreciate the work that Shannon and his team did for our wedding film. I guess the best praise I can give him is that having only been given his name by a friend in early 2014, my husband and I have become friends with him and regularly hang out when we can. From the moment we began communications I appreciated Shannon's honesty and humor regarding his process of creating wedding films. We quickly found ourselves laughing along and discussing the details of what mattered most to us in our film. Fortunately, our tastes were very similar and so we hired him for last November. Throughout the wedding day, Shannon was a true professional who disappeared into the background of the day. There's one moment in particular that my husband and I shared on the altar; and we were both surprised to not only see it captured in the video but also for our my husband's comments to be included. We forgot he was wearing a mic! Hilarious, poignant, and just one example of the happy moments we found while watching our film. We can't recommend Shannon more than to say that we watch our video regularly and love it each time.

I've known Shannon since college so it was really a treat when I was able to have him film my wedding for me. He didn't disappoint. From the moment he arrived at the hotel (early I might add) he was filming, cracking jokes, and helping cut some of the tension of the day. When he posted the film online, we were blown away by some of the shots he was able to capture. Love the film and can't thank him enough.
