I also have to mention Shannon’s team, as they were an extension of her and contributed to the flawlessness of our wedding. We had so many vendors and moving parts, so if there was a hiccup I never saw any evidence of it. They left me with literally nothing to worry about. I can speak specifically about Shannon’s right-hand man, Chris. He was with me all morning and guided me for the ceremony and reception. He blended into the background for the personal moments, while simultaneously helping us navigate the overwhelming moments that come with 200 guests and a tight timeline. His presence put me at ease on the big day.
A guest shared this story with us from the wedding that speaks to overall talent. Our guest said she was irritated with the hem of her pantsuit catching on her heel throughout the night. Shannon’s team member noticed my guest’s quiet discomfort and promptly helped her pin it up. She didn’t need to ask or complain or worry- it was simply noticed and taken care of. I reached out to Shannon Wellington Weddings, who I had been following for a while on Instagram, and originally inquired about month-of coordination. After talking with Michelle on the phone, I decided to go with SWW for full planning services and I am SO happy we did. Even for a very organized, type-A person like me, wedding planning was stressful and was starting to feel like a second job. I was having trouble keeping up with everything, and bringing in the experts to take planning off my plate instantly relieved the stress and made the months leading up to our wedding so much more enjoyable. Michelle took care of everything from communicating with all of our vendors, managing deposit deadlines, coordinating the day-of timeline, and much more, while proactively handling issues along the way. She was super organized and responsive, and anytime something came up or I voiced a worry (there were a few Bridezilla moments), she was ready to go with a plan and a reminder that everything was going to be okay. There is no one I would rather have in control of all the details than Michelle, and I think the best part of the planning process was definitely the day-of coordination. Not only did we get to hang out with Michelle all day which totally put us at ease, but as a bonus, we also had Chris from the SWW team for day-of coordination to add even more assurance that everything would go 100% perfectly. Michelle and Chris are AWESOME people and so much fun. I truly felt like they were good friends by the end of the weekend. Chris even saved the day when we forgot our champagne toasting glasses (used by my in-laws at their wedding!) at home, and drove to our house to pick them up. Michelle and Chris thought of everything, kept things running smoothly, and allowed us to simply enjoy our day, which was the best wedding gift of all. They were very helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made themselves available to answer questions, help us think through things we were forgetting, provide advice, and nail down a master timeline that we could use for all vendors. They also confirmed all details with the vendors which saved us so much time and energy. She was so patient with me, and her creative ideas and quick thinking saved the day so many times. Shannon was able to make it all happen within our budget, something we were so worried about before we found Shannon, and she guided us through decisions about what was worth keeping and what we could let go of without taking away from the wedding we wanted. I wasn’t the most wedding-knowledgeable bride and she helped guide us through everything. We used her design, and month-/day-of services, and both were beyond incredible. Her design was flawless, and seeing it all come together on the day was just so spectacular. And I cannot say enough amazing things about her team. Michelle and Chris were the best coordinators anyone could ask for, and they made the day so incredibly easy and stress-free and wonderful. verything she said on our initial consult put me at ease and felt in line with how I was envisioning our wedding day. I am the type of person who makes lists and more lists and has a hard time not having their hand in everything.. let me tell you- for me to be able to just give full creative control to Shannon is a true testament to her brilliance. I have never been so comfortable and trusting of someone’s creative expertise before- Shannon and I discussed our style inspiration (I may have even made her an entire packet detailing every design aspect I could think of) and from there she took the reigns and worked with florist (who was out of this world amazing) rentals, linen, stationary, you name it to create on of the most magical and breathtaking sights- not even to mention the florals, linens and signage for the night before as well. Leading up to the wedding I was so calm (also a testament to Shannon and her team as I often joke that I don’t have an off switch and am always “going going going”) anytime anyone asked if I needed anything I had nothing because they were handling every little detail down to what straws we had for the signature cocktail.
Day of was a breeze- Chris was my life line and I have no idea what I would have done without him. He was so calm and collected - our bridesmaids and groomsmen all commented to us about how much of an asset he was. He was pulling out sewing kits before the ceremony to fixed a popped button off one of the tuxedos, he was reassuring me when I was scared we were running behind getting ready that we had buffer time and all would be okay (we did and it was), every time I had to move I would just feel half my body weight of dress go away and Chris was there carrying my entire train (which wasn’t light) and keeping my veil from flying away or getting caught on something. He brought water to our whole bridal party and families during our photos outside, was in charge of some rogue boutonnières that we almost forgot at the house before the first look (the only reason we didn’t is because of Chris) and so much more.
Shannon and her team kept the whole day on schedule so well- cocktail hour was exactly one hour, everything happened when it was supposed to, and Shannon even helped my husband and I sneak away to take it all in before we got sunset photos and the reception started. The entire weekend start to finish was amazing because of Shannon and her team. So many guests came up to us to tell us how the Welcome Bags were amazing and had the most delicious cookies and popcorn, the Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding was beautiful- we had florals linens and signage to hint at the wedding vibe and I think it was done so perfectly. I have had guests tell me that wedding day looked like a fairy tale. Shannon had basically created a garden/forest indoors and it was completely and utterly breathtaking.
I can’t even sum up how amazing this team is- I would do it all over again a million times just to get to work with them again. They were truly my wedding dream team.

tle detail, was absolutely beautiful - details I would never have even thought of! She expertly brought all of our esthetic dreams to life while adding a beauty I never could have imagined. She spent the many months leading up to our wedding day sourcing all of our rentals and decorations while working with other vendors such as the florist and installation teams. Throughout the planning process she curated realistic mockups for us to visualize her ideas along the way. She created the seating chart display OF MY DREAMS, found us the most amazing florist and worked with them to exceed all floral expectations (obsessed with our florals!), beautiful drapery installation, the perfect rentals, and an overall vibe that was just perfection. She made the planning process as seamless as possible and when we had an issue with one of our rental companies a few days before our wedding, she sprung into action rectifying the situation so quickly for us. When I think of Shannon Wellington the word that comes to mind is EXPERTISE. She is truly an EXPERT in her craft and it shows in her professionalism and her execution. Our wedding was truly more beautiful than I ever could have imagined and I felt that so much stress was taking off of me because of her!! We have gotten sooo many compliments from both our guests and others who have just seen pictures that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen!
Shannon’s team was also so so amazing to work with and helped us so much throughout our planning process and the day of. We used Shannon and her team for Month-of coordination and Michelle was absolutely amazing throughout the month+ leading up to our wedding. She was so detail-oriented, corresponded with all of our vendors on our behalf, so responsive to all of my questions and concerns. She truly made me feel at ease leading up to our wedding day. She and Chris on our wedding day were a dream to work with, so kind and professional. I felt that my husband and I could really enjoy our day because we knew that Michelle and Chris had every little thing under control. Wellington Weddings back in late 2020 for full-service wedding planning and design, and let me tell you - this team is BEST IN CLASS. Period. There is no one better.
Shannon is undeniably always a step ahead of the rest. I was blown away by her ability to so seamlessly identify trendy vs timeless over the almost 2 years we spent planning our big day. It’s tough to overstate her impeccable eye for design, from identifying the perfect textured table linens to the way each individual item sits in your photographer’s flat lay detail shots (which Shannon lays out herself, btw!).
Michelle and Chris are also absolutely INCREDIBLE. Michelle is so unbelievably helpful throughout the entire planning process - she manages every single logistic so effortlessly, and both Michelle and Chris are so cool, calm, and collected at all times. We had a big transportation fiasco with guests stuck on shuttles on their way to our ceremony, which put the day a bit behind schedule. Shannon, Michelle, and Chris never wavered and made everything as smooth as possible, down to having our string quartet play well beyond their allotted time to entertain guests during the long wait (which I hadn’t even thought of, but heard from guests afterwards how fabulous it was!). If we had anyone else on our team, I truly think the transportation issues would’ve sabotaged the day, but Shannon’s team was SO in control of the situation that we didn’t even blink an eye or even really think much about it!
I would be remiss not to add that if you’re looking for a wedding planner to inundate you with daily emails, updates, and questions on every minuscule detail - this team ain’t it. They are the best of the best, and like all professionals at the very top of their field, the biggest reward comes when you fully and completely trust them and the process. If I knew how to plan a wedding or had a super specific vision down to what I wanted my napkins to look like, I would’ve done it myself. Share the big picture for the day, then stay open to ideas and let Shannon and her team work their magic. As just one of MANY examples, Shannon asked if she could arrange a “surprise” for us at our reception. We didn’t hesitate for a moment, and it was truly one of the most stunning areas of the entire event: a Palm Springs-inspired lounge complete with bright seating, chic swan floaties, glowing orbs, and of course, frozé and piña coladas on tap. We got sooooo many compliments from our guests, and like all things Shannon does, no one had ever seen it before.
I know I’m leaving out so much here, but it really is difficult to convey how special this team is. RUN to book her!!!

doubt, that using SWW was the single best decision we made during the planning process. Shannon and her team (Michelle and Chris) helped make our wedding day everything we had dreamed of and then some. Here are some specifics on why SWW is incredible at what they do:
1. Shannon captured the EXACT design style that my wife and I wanted, with very little stylistic input from us. It was practically magic how she knew exactly what we wanted without any explicit details from us besides the general "themes" we wished to capture. Our guests were raving about how nice everything looked.
2. SWW took care of all the finer points during the month of planning; everything from the welcome baskets (which were incredible, by the way) to the coordination of day-of vendors (e.g. flowers, furniture rentals) to the detailed weekend schedule was taken care of by Shannon's team. It was a breath of fresh air to work with them on these tasks during the month of our wedding.
3. Michelle and Chris went above-and-beyond on the day of the event, even expertly handling certain challenging situations that were brought about by some of our other vendors.
I was personally initially skeptical about the need for a planner (my wife had to convince me) but now I seriously can't imagine having this event without SWW's involvement. I cannot re-iterate how strongly I recommend them for any future event.

What started as a few pins on pinterest became the most visually stunning event I have ever seen in my life- I'll never have enough words to thank Shannon for her creative genius! Not a single detail went unnoticed! Her creativity is unmatched! And beyond that, Michelle was the most organized and calm person I have ever met. She coached me, my now husband, and family through the whole day, making sure everyone was comfortable and EVERY SINGLE need was met. In the time leading up to the wedding, she answered me and my moms 100s of questions as we started to get nervous for our day, and coordinated all of the logistics for our MANY vendors. I didn't notice one negative thing happen all day- the team was amazing! If you want to be able to sit back, relax, and truly enjoy your wedding planning process and big day, you have to hire Shannon and her team! as at an untraditional venue that required a lot of coordination between a few different vendors, and Michelle made sure every single detail was handled beautifully. She was extremely communicative and responded to our every email and text quickly. So many of our guests approached us during the night to tell us how amazing our planners were (shout out to Erin, too!). We planned an outdoor ceremony and it rained out of nowhere right as the ceremony was about to begin, and Michelle and Erin scrambled to get everything set up inside the tent in no time. They kept an eye on the weather the whole night and moved things back outside the tent as soon as they could so we could enjoy the wedding we had envisioned. I really, really cannot say enough good things about Michelle and Erin. Our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without them!

Shannon and her team were truly a dream to work with from beginning to end. Shannon was so responsive to all of my crazy emails, which normally came at 7am right after I spent the night before running through all my nightmares scenarios. She always put me at ease and offered me solutions or answers to all my questions and worries. ue. They were helpful and responsive with leading up to the month of and answered any questions I had. Which this being my first wedding planning experience I had a lot of questions. For my 8 months of planning, this wedding was pretty much my baby and my vision was set to exactly how I wanted everything to go. For the 9th month I handed over my final wedding arrangements to Shannon's lead assistant, Michelle, she was a sweetheart! I am very upfront and huge on communication and I understand that she has other weddings however communication was a little too lax for me. I wanted to be more in the loop with vendors and information like the timeline that my guests and photographer needed a little sooner than it was out and thought that it would have been in a little bit more detailed especially for the groomsmen than it was. When we found out the week of that the hotel I had booked in October that they are not offering the shuttle, Michelle was helpful to find replacements however I was right at my budget and the ones that she found would have put me WAY over my budget. When it came for the day of my wedding I was met by her assistant, Chris, whom was absolutely great! He was so quick to help me unload my parents car, and helped me with whatever I needed! I accidentally got lipstick on my brothers suit when i went in for a hug and he was so quick to get the stain out. He made sure my dress did not hit the ground, he made me laugh when I was starting to get stressed, and when it came time to bustle my dress he was right there helping when my MOHs were MIA for a minute. Her other assistant was helpful too she answered any questions I had about anything. The groomsmen were not really told when exactly they needed to be ready by and they were told at 2pm that they needed to hurry up and get dressed. However when I finally saw how the whole day turned out I was pleasantly satisfied. The decorations were spot on and they made my vision come to life! All in all, Michelle and her staff did a great job executing my wedding day. My husband and I are happy how everything turned out! We felt like we were in a hallmark movie!

9, and wanted to get married within the year. I talked to her and one other planner in February, and she had zero concerns with making it all happen. The other planner was all problems and Shannon was all solutions - she had all the vendors and resources we would need. Even when it took me until May to pick a venue/date (we got married in October 2019) - she didn't flinch. She helped me work through what to do first, and kept me on track. I had a very busy work and travel schedule and she was flexible with all of it. I can't emphasize enough how important such a calm and confident presence is in this process. I was never once concerned that the day wasn't going to be beautiful and well-run. I just trusted her implicitly. She even helped me pick bridesmaid and flower girl dresses when I was getting pushback - she was my sounding board. I think I would have completely lost my mind without her. Hire her and her team - you'll be so happy you did.

but also a true reflection of US as a couple. I knew without a doubt that having it at my parents' was going to be able to fulfill my vision in more ways than a traditional venue ever could.
...HOWEVER, I. WAS. STRESSED.
As soon as I met Shannon and Michelle, I knew without a doubt that they were going to make my day perfect. And I cannot describe how much they exceeded all of my expectations. I still cannot believe how happy and CALM I felt on the day of. I woke up on my wedding day, looked out the window and saw it was raining. I just shrugged it off and moved on without a care in the world. I knew that by having Michelle by my side, my day was going to be filled with sunshine regardless of the weather forecast.
Michelle took care of EVERYTHING. From getting special eyedrops due to my allergic reaction to lash extensions to coordinating the dreaded rain "plan B", to holding my dress in the mud for our first look, she truly did it all.
Michelle also took an immense amount of time to plan our hair and makeup schedule and facilitated deliveries and pickups for all vendors.
The most impressive part of our experience working with SWW was their ability to keep my mother CALM. This is something I could have never imagined...but they made it happen and did a damn good job of making her happy. By consistently checking in on her and filling her in on the information that she did (or did not ) need to know in order to make the day go smoothly. I still am in complete awe and indescribably grateful because I was able to truly enjoy the day with my mother and that is something that is incredibly priceless to me.
My favorite part about working with Michelle and SWW was not their top-quality service, but it was the personal relationships that I was able to build with the team. Michelle worked so incredibly hard to make our day perfect and she did it with such a beautiful, genuine smile that filled my heart with such joy and confidence. I will never be able to thank them enough for making such a huge impact on the best day of my life.

Without us even asking, she went out of her way to make additional arrangements with leftover flowers from the florist and put them around the venue in places that needed a little more love. It really helped to fill the space. We showed up and our chuppah was asymmetrical -- Michelle could immediately tell that we were upset and she was able to contact our florist and have them come fix it for us immediately. Shannon's team stayed throughout the night and packed everything up for us to take home from the venue. Working with Michelle was a joy and we'd recommend her to anyone that asked.

Shannon made everything happen. Tents (5!), flooring, bathroom trailers, valet, flowers, cakes, bars, caterers, balloons, umbrellas, a live unicorn! She was a fabulous partner to all of our vendors (they all told me so!) and she kept me in the loop as much as I wanted to be.
Shannon is so easy to talk to, so REAL, and was very honest with me and my budget. She kept me on track with timelines and helped me prioritize so I didn't sweat the small stuff. She has incredible taste and her dream team of assistants are little miracle workers.

One little thing that I truly appreciated was how organized she kept all of our emails and conversations. I struggle keeping an organized inbox so it helped that Shannon created a new string of emails per topic that we were discussing so I could quickly reference at a glance if I ever needed to go back and find something (which I did ALL THE TIME!!)
Another great thing that Shannon did was that after she ordered items for me, she stored it personally so that I wouldn't have to deal with remembering anything!! That was truly an immense help since I live in a tiny apartment and am probably the most forgetful person on the planet. I never was once concerned that anything would be forgotten or overlooked. She also sent me every receipt so I could keep track of all the things that were ordered.
Shannon left my wedding a little after cocktail hour but her two assistants were fantastic. They knew what needed to be done, kept the flow moving, kept the timing and even remembered things that my bride brain had purely forgotten! Without them I would have never taken my "Thank You" note pictures holding my cute little Thank You sign! I had completely forgotten but they came to the rescue!
They also packed up everything that was mine and left it neatly in my bridal suite ready for me to take home. This was a tremendous help because I didn't want myself or anyone in my family to have to worry about the dirty details...we all just got to enjoy the party!!
