Shannon and her assistant did a phenomenal job capturing our wedding day! Our wedding day was an entire day event, and she was very flexible with timing and picking out the perfect locations to shoot photos! Shannon shot our wedding last weekend and we could not have been happier with our experience. We met her at a bridal expo in Milwaukee and immediately felt comfortable and confident in her services. We had great communication leading up to the big day. What most impressed me was how diligent she was to get the various sets of pictures with family and friends, which we had give her ahead of time. Additionally, she captured some AMAZING shots. Right after dinner, Shannon spotted a sunset and called us up to the roof at The Atrium. The pictures were so cool and unique. We are really grateful she captured so many details and emotions throughout the day. We look forward to using her for future occasions.

Shannon of Shannon Z Photography did the most amazing job on our wedding photos! She provided great insite and guidance prior to the event and then led us through a “picture perfect” wedding day. Shannon took pictures of us getting ready for the wedding and surprised us with a 1920’s car to go with our Great Gatsby theme that we took photos with as well. Of course the evening was fantastic and Shannon captured every bit of it, ranging from special intimate moments to guest showing off their sophisticated moves on the dance floor. Shannon was able to get us some sample photographs a day or two after the wedding and they were phenomenal pics! I highly recommend Shannon Z Photography for a complete package professional.

I cannot say enough good things about Shannon! She is simply the best. My husband hates having his picture taken & she captured the best photo of him, ever! She has a way of making everyone relaxed and bring out the best in them. She's calm, efficient & very thorough. She has a great eye for detail, whether it's taking the photos or making the timeline or answering questions to help plan. And she's fast! My family couldn't believe how quickly we got sneak peeks and finished photos.

My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about Shannon. She did our engagement shoot and was so kind and accommodating that we knew we had the right person for our wedding! We received our book within 2 weeks probably sooner! Then between that and the wedding she sent little notes and things to remind and assure us we were in good hands. Shannon has done family photos for us and now my engagement photos and eventually our wedding photos! Great quality, very helpful and accommodating. I honestly can't say enough about Shannon. She does amazing work and captured all of the special moments of our wedding day. She did both our engagement and wedding photos. Not only does she do amazing work but she is so thoughtful too. She sent a hand-written thank you note after we booked her and a couple weeks before the wedding she sent us a Starbucks gift card. She understands wedding planning is stressful and wanted my now husband and I to take some time away from the planning to really just enjoy each other. It was a nice reminder what this is all about, planning a wedding can be overwhelming so I really feel every couple needs that. We got a sneak peak and highlight video back days after the wedding and all of our pictures were done about a week after the wedding. High quality photos and very quick turn around which is nice, I have had a couple friends who waited months to get theirs back. I highly recommend Shannon for any of your photography needs! Our wedding day was amazing, I wish I could go back and relive that day over and over again. Luckily we can through our pictures, she covered every moment and every detail of the day. Thank you Shannon! Oh and just the other day we got a couple prints of our wedding in the mail from Shannon, she was trying out a new printing company and thought we may want to keep them! So Sweet!

I have had the pleasure to know Shannon for many years and have always recommended her when the need for an amazing photographer would present itself. So when Mike and a I decided to get married it was a no brainer on who to call to help capture the moments of our special day. What I received was exceedingly beyond our dreams. Shannon Z has a very good eye for composition and has great skill at capturing a scene with good focus on the subject matter. Shannon Z's price was very affordable for the quality of pictures she delivered. I honestly think that many photographers asking for twice as much as Shannon's quote could not take better pictures. She was also extremely prompt at delivering the final edited photos!

Shannon did an amazing job with our photos, the only regret we have is not booking Shannon to be a part of our day for longer. She did a great job managing our huge wedding party and getting shots that we love and will cherish forever. She was on time to everything and did a great job communicating via email, text and on the day of. She really has an eye for the surroundings. She did an amazing first look with us on our wedding day and even fought the cold in February to get some beautiful shots outside in the snow. Everything was beautiful! We received digital copies of our pictures within the first two weeks to look at. Shannon does a great job and brings me to tears every time I look at the photos, she made memories with our photos that will last a lifetime and we are so proud to share them with those close to us! Recently scheduled Shannon for a basic couples session. We are extremely pleased with her flexibility and pricing. Shannon is awesome! I booked her a year or less before my 'old hollywood' themed wedding. I planned this event from Portland, Oregon with the location of the wedding to be in Glenview, IL. Shannon is based in Kenosha. Despite the geographical locations of all factors, Shannon and I stayed in touch throughout- she even sent little gifts like stress relief lotion, and starbucks gift cards, all with sweet little notes assuring us that everything would be great. It was. Even a day or two before the wedding, when I was running around doing a million things I forgot to send Shannon a list of a few key shots I wanted. So, I had her take a look at my pinterest board. She nailed every one of those shots- I am beyond pleased with how everything turned out, and I have received a plethora of compliments on all the pictures. One of things I think people overlook initially is how important wedding photos really are- you will be basking in the afterglow of your wedding for weeks afterwards, and going over every detail, which is really only possible if you have amazing wedding photos. We do, and I'm so grateful to Shannon Z. for all of her hard work. Thanks Shannon!

In the midst of the the craziness after the wedding, I wanted to take a quick moment to do a review for Shannon Z photography. A year and a half ago my fiance proposed and we started looking for photographers for our wedding. We looked into several, Shannon being one of them. I "liked" her page on facebook and we decided to wait to decide on which photographer we would go with. In the mean time, a chronic illness of mine, got worse and I was very ill, bed bound and home bound for many months. I had to stop working and our "dream" wedding seemed like an impossible dream both for the physical and financial aspects. You see, I know alot about weddings, vendors, pricing and the one thing I never really balk at is the price of photography because not only do I believe you pay for what you get, but after the day is over (and yes, it really does go fast) what is left is memories and photography. On Shannon's facebook, I saw that she was graciously giving away a wedding photography package to a couple as a way to show her gratitude for her photography success. I wrote a letter explaining why I thought my fiance (husband) and I deserved a wedding. I'm not sure i've ever won anything before, but when she choose us, I was over the moon! We decided to move forward with a wedding, but because of medical bills and such, we were on a very limited budget, which wouldn't have allowed for us to have the kind of professional photography that she was offering us! Because we weren't paying for her services, one would have thought and I wouldn't have expected her to treat us as a "regular" paying customer. But let me tell you, she did, and she was so gracious about it! We received several sweet notes from her leading up to the day of the wedding. She also met with us ahead of time so we could discuss pictures etc. One of the things that Shannon did for us ahead of time that was VERY helpful was give us a timeline of the day regarding pictures. I was able to add to it and base my entire timeline of my day around it. It really helped to make sure everyone was where they were suppose to be and ready when she needed to take specific pictures of each of us. The day of the wedding, she was laid back, easy to be around and that really helped us relax. She was also open to going where ever we wanted to get pictures and she utilized our ceremony venue for some great shots. Within days she got us some sneak peaks and within 2 weeks we had our pictures back! Everyone comments on how great the pictures are, how she used lighting and her artistry to get some really beautiful and timeless shots. I'm forever grateful for her generosity, we honestly would not have been able to have a wedding or her caliber of photography had we not received this awesome gift! I recommend Shannon to anyone for any occasion! In the meantime, my health has improved some and i'm just so blessed that I got to have a day to remember and that I'll have her photos to look on for years to come!

Shannon is a wonderful photographer. Her photographs were great quality and really captured the moment. I was very pleased to see the final products and they turned out great. She even made a great montage of photos set to music on her Facebook page that my friends and family absolutely loved. Not only is she a great photographer, but she is a great people person. We had a silly/fun wedding party and she took it all in stride and allowed us to have fun while also being able to direct us and take pictures in an efficient manner. Before the wedding she even mailed us a gift card with a nice letter, which was a great personal touch. Her prices were more than fair for the quality she provides. I would unequivocally recommend Shannon to anyone I know who is getting married.

After our engagement photo session, she surprised us by sending us a Wedding Guest book filled with our engagement photos that we used at our reception. I had did alot of research on wedding photograpers and interviewed others before deciding to go with Shannon. I was very picky about choosing a photograper becasue I feel the pictures are such an important part of my sepcial day. After the engagement shoot i just knew she was going to be perfect from her professionalism to the quality of pictures. The day of the wedding I was very convident she was going to take all the right picture that would tell a story and would be perfect. When I received the pictures I was amazed at what an absolutly perfect job she had done with capturing everything! All of our family and friends are stunned at how great the pictures are! If you want your special day to be captured so that you can keep the memories forever that is perfect than she is the one to have do it!

Shannon helped us out in a jam. We had a different wedding photographer only to find out that she double booked us! I called Shannon and she had the day open worked with our budget and discussed all options... and the rest is history. She was prompt, professional, and the pictures are Georgeous! We had a Sneak Peek on Facebook the next day, the pictures a few days later available on her site, and she's already emailed me to let me know which I would like retouched before she sends our CD out. We only had the funds to do the CD but her albums are beautiful, and she said we can order after the wedding too if funds permit.

Just recently had my wedding on October 7th. The weather was perfect and having Shannon as my photographer made things even better. She was on time, reliable and very fun! She gets a variety of shots and makes sure all bases of covered. I felt like she adapted to my style and what I wanted my pictures to be like! Thank you Shannon! When my husband and I were looking for photographers, we wanted someone who would be able to capture the spunkiness and FUN of our wedding for an affordable price. While we knew that some posed pictures were in order, we didn’t want the same old boring pictures you see from many wedding photographers and really emphasized candid, action shots. Shannon was accommodating to our free spirits. She took our ideas and made them a reality for our July wedding…despite the 100 degree heat and sweaty groomsmen. :) We had paid Shannon based on an hourly rate and planned to have all the important events done in that time. Everyone knows that things do not always go according to schedule. Shannon stayed through the Grand March and first dances. She even came back (after packing up and starting to drive home) to take more pictures of my husband and I because she wanted to get pictures of us with the heat-lightning storm going on in the background. Originally, we did not plan to have formal engagement photos taken in order to save money. But, Shannon’s prices were so affordable, we were able to include it with our package. She travelled to several locations in order to capture our personalities. Shannon was patient with including our boxer puppy in some of the photos. We have many of her pictures around our house. When I misunderstood what had been included with our photo shoot, Shannon was pleasant and cooperative. She made me feel at ease and was very proactive at keeping a positive working relationship. Shannon’s professionalism is so refreshing. She gives timely responses to inquiries. Her turn-around time for pictures is fantastic! She had both our engagement shoot and wedding pictures done within a week. Not only did she have them posted up on her website, but she also requested feedback for any changes we wanted. Once she was sure our pictures were exactly right, she mailed us the disc. When people look at our pictures, they laugh and comment on the creativity.

We interviewed Shannon and then a couple larger photography companies for our wedding. We really liked the fact that we would be working directly with Shannon for the whole thing. She was very friendly and open to hearing about what we wanted. She was also good about directing people for the posed shots - not easy with a large family. She blended in perfectly during the day and got so many wonderful candid shots that help relive the wedding - not to mention got the pictures up online within a week! We are so happy with all the pictures and found Shannon to be a great deal all the way around! Thank you so much! P.S. We also recommend doing the engagement shoot with Shannon before hand - it was really nice to get a chance to work together before the wedding and she assembled a really cute guest sign in book using the photos. Now instead of just a list of guest names, we have a beautiful photo book with lots of nice wishes from out guests.

my husband and i were referred to shannon by a family member that had also used her for a pregnancy shoot. when we met her, we didnt look any further. she was just what we needed, wanted and could afford. she was very professional at all times. we were pulled in so many directions on our day but shannon managed to still get us and our out of town guests together for some beautiful shots. i didnt know how long photos would take to get back to us and was pleasantly surprised to see them in about 4 days. great work and very nice to work with!

When it came to our wedding she contacted me a couple weeks before to verify locations, times and what we were looking for. The pictures she took are beautiful, artistic and perfect. The posed pictures are wonderful but the candids she got are so vivid. When I look at them I get all emotinal, the love, happiness and joy just seem to flow from each shot. Shannon is an incredible photographer. She is exceptionally creative, professional and accommodating. She was our photographer for our wedding last June (as well as our engagement shoot) My husband, our relatives and myself, are extremely pleased with the pictures. Family and friends that were unable to make it to our wedding, looked through our pictures and said that it was as if they "were at our wedding", just because of how beautiful the pictures were.
