She kept us on time and on track to bust out the photos, so we could enjoy time with our guests. We absolutely love her photos! And, I think the best part is when your own family comes up to you after and raves about how talented your photographer is! She won over our whole family!

I loved her work so much that, as a perpetually single (and happy about it) person, I once commented on a photo of hers that, “I’m never getting married, but if I ever do I want you to be my photographer. You just capture the love between your couples in your photos.” It was a true statement then, and it’s still true to this day. I don’t know how she does it, but she manages photograph and exhibit the love between her subjects. She doesn’t just do it with couples either; parents and their kids, and friends too. Cut to a few years later, I met the man who would turn my world upside down in the best way and suddenly, I was engaged. And what do you know, there was a concert coming up that Shanoah and I were going to be at so we made a plan to do our engagement shoot before the show in a town neither of us were familiar with. Due to the timing of the concert, we had to have a quick session, but she still did her thing and took amazing photos all the same. Where she really knocked it out of the park though was at our wedding. Shanoah came and took pics of all of us getting ready. We built in time so she could also do pre-ceremony photos of both sides since we weren’t doing a first look. Long story as short as possible…the venue coordinator had known the timing for our ceremony (an hour before sunset) for almost 2 years. She comes to me about an hour before the ceremony and says that due to timing of the ceremony and the sunset, she did not think we would be able to make it to the scenic bridge on their property for photos because it takes 20 minutes to get there and back. Shanoah said it was up to me, but she was fully confident in her ability to shoot fast and get what we needed with everyone all together before my groom and I headed off to the bridge. Venue coordinator pushed back, and me being non-confrontational (even on my wedding day) didn’t want to stir the pot. Shanoah stepped in and advocated for me saying, “She wants the bridge, she’s just trying to be nice.” So we made it happen. BTW, it took about 2 minutes to get to the bridge! We had so much time after shooting there, that we took some more photos elsewhere, and still had about 25 minutes for us to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. Finally, I will just add some of what others have said to me about Shanoah from the wedding night and on social media from the sneak peak pics. ~ Every time I turned around, she was right there, capturing the moment. ~ ~ She was catching everything, but she was completely unobtrusive about it. ~ ~ OMG shut the front door, all the photos are beyond words <3. ~ ~ OMG, this is so awesome! You do a wonderful job. ~ I cannot sing the praises of Shanoah Madison Photography enough. HIRE HER for your upcoming anything! P.S. She is ready and willing to travel and has a bucket list of shooting in all 50 states (and Ireland) so hit her up no matter where you live.

the beginning, Shanoah was very attentive to my wedding photo dreams and answered every random question I had quickly. As a wedding videographer, I knew I wanted perfect wedding photos and Shanoah delivered AND MORE! She became best friends with my entire wedding party and my family (she literally became one of us- we have a ton of selfies with her), she made sure we got through all the photos I wanted AND gave me BEAUTIFUL sneak peaks within 48 hours of my wedding!!!!!!!! She also has such an AMAZING eye for new unique shots and never afraid to jump anywhere for a photo! Not to mention, when my sparklers didn't arrive a day before the wedding, she was able to get me some for my sparkler send off! Shanoah, thank you so much for being apart of my wedding day and making it perfect!

Well when husband proposed I posted a photo and she commented and I texted her immediately and told her no matter what I needed her for my photos. We chose a date and before I booked anything else, I booked shanoah. When doing our engagement photos, she caught every single detail that was breathtaking. On the day of my wedding she showed up and I made a silly face at the camera but saw no flash and asked if I should do it again and she said "no I'm gifting you a video for your wedding" how selfless can you be?! I still get emotional thinking of it and cry like a baby haha. She's more than a photographer, she's a friend. She gets every detail, and has fun with it. The photos speak for themselves... She's just..... phenomenal. I can't recommend her enough to everyone

She got my fiance, who I call Mr Personality, to actually laugh and smile. He even said he couldn't believe how good he looked and can't wait for wedding pictures. dding photos felt fun and relaxed and natural. She had everyone laughing and smiling, and she is so wonderful with kids (my flower girls are 6 and 18months)!! Her ability to spot the perfect natural lighting while walking through a park was great. I wish I was a person who got photos taken for all occasions so I could work with Shanoah more often!! Once I have kids, I know exactly where I’m going... :)

w immediately had to have her as my photographer. I got married in February and I don't know many brides in love with winter like me but I warned shanoah I wanted snow, lights, gloves, boots, snowballs I wanted it all photographed, and I got it!! She rolled around in the snow she threw snow and just had so much fun with me and my husband and let's not forget the below zero weather but not once did she complain or have negative feelings on anything we did. The most important thing was me as the bride just totally appreciating the effort to make me happy and make sure it was all what I wanted and the photos were perfect. I recommend Shanoah to any bride and groom that wants all those little, big, and special moments captured and I don't know about any other bride but I was so busy with friends and family and the thank you's and the questions I missed so many moments that shanoah captured and to look at all my amazing wedding pictures I was blown away, she does great and works hard!
