She has tons of experience and great insight into locations for elopements. We had a slight change of plans with our elopement due to trail conditions, which we were figuring out the week before. Sharee had great suggestions for last minute back-up plans, which helped us feel more relaxed about it, and the day ended up being completely perfect! She also really listened to our preferences regarding photos and made sure we had tons of candid shots in our gallery. The entire experience of working with her was wonderful and we wholeheartedly recommend her!

Sharee Davenport took our engagement and wedding photos and was an absolute dream to work with! We had never had professional photos taken and she made us so comfortable. I found Sharee during a deep dive on Pinterest looking for an elopement location and photographer that would make my sunset mountainside elopement dreams come to life. When I saw her photos, I was in love. I knew I found the photographer who would capture our intimate ceremony and bring those memories to life so we could share these moments with our friends and family who wouldn't be there (and for us to reminisce over the years). What I didn't know was I had just crossed paths with one of the most beautiful and incredible souls I could hope to meet in life. We bonded over Harry Potter and Charcuterie and being boy moms and business owners. Sharee was so helpful and encouraging during our entire elopement planning process, helping us find vendors and sharing her thoughts on other elements like my dress and hairstyle and local recommendations for things to do and places to eat while we were in Boulder; over the course of our planning process, she truly became a friend. I'm pretty sure meeting her in person was one of the most exciting parts of my big day! Sharee took the time to learn our style and preferences for being photographed and was mindful of that as she took our photos. She laughed with us, encouraged us, and was truly and genuinely happy for us and to be in those moments with us. The total peace of mind I had knowing I was finally a Sharee Davenport bride and didn't have to worry about how the photos would turn out but could absolutely trust her to capture and freeze these moments in time was invaluable on such an important day. When we received our gallery, my best friend commented she felt like she was really there with us and could feel our emotions throughout the whole elopement. Our elopement was heartfelt, intimate, and intentional - and a Pinterest dream come true! It was magic. Having incredible photos that truly captured the essence of our elopement and our personalities and love is a gift I can't thank Sharee enough for. Sharee was absolutely fantastic. The pictures she took turned out so amazing. We got well over 100 pictures and she really captured the moment in every single one of them. She was up at 5am to photograph my wedding and the energy that she radiates is just outstanding. Sharee was extremely professional and fun to work with! I’m not one to know what to do when posing for photos but she made it so easy giving small directions on what to do and our wedding photos turned out great! We were able to easily build good report throughout the day with Sharee. When our photos in RMNP plan went out the window because I fire broke out in the park when we were in line she immediately had a perfect back up location which probably turned out better in the end!

We loved Sharee so much! We had such a wonderful experience working with her for our same-sex wedding. Everything from the initial planning to working through the final details was so professional and (even better) fun! But what I appreciated most was that when our carefully planned timeline went out the window on our big day (folks warned me that would happen…ha!) Sharee was calm and just adjusted everything on the fly. When we couldn’t get to a photo spot we wanted, she made it work at a closer location. We ADORE all our photos—she captured the whole evening so magically. I would definitely recommend to anyone that you hire her!

We are only taking a break from viewing our elopement pictures (for the 10th time) to write this. I cannot even express how grateful we are to Sharee for capturing these moments with us. Sharee made our wedding weekend so magical and unforgettable. We hired her for our day-of-ceremony photos and for a day-after "just us" sunrise shoot at Sunrise Amphitheater and Lost Gulch, respectively. We flew in from out-of-state for our wedding, so we met her in person for the very first time at our ceremony. She instantly made us feel at ease - she is so friendly and warm, and is the kind of person you immediately feel like you've been BFFs with for years. My husband and I had never taken professional photos together before, and Sharee was incredible at directing us into natural, fun poses that translated into stunning photos. She captured some of the most breathtaking shots I've ever seen, and I am in disbelief that they're of my own wedding day! She has an incredible eye, and we are in awe that we have these unbelievably beautiful shots to look back on for the rest of our lives. Sharee clearly puts a lot of love and passion into her work, and is an absolute joy to be around. It's obvious that she cares so much about her couples, and goes the extra mile to capture your special moment. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. We CANNOT RECOMMEND SHAREE ENOUGH! She is a top-notch photographer and an overall incredible person. We had a major setback on our elopement day - the bride (me) was 2 hours late to my own ceremony due to construction in RMNP! The only person that could truly calm me down and get me through it all was Sharee! She was incredibly supportive, flexible and accommodating to the delays - she stayed beyond our originally scheduled time and somehow managed to still capture all the photos we wanted and more. On top of it all, the photos turned out AMAZING and we love every single one. She captured all the different shots we wanted - big mountain views, closeups, fall colors (even though there were limited colors in the park) and everything turned out so perfect. Sharee made us feel so comfortable and her work is beyond breathtaking. Thank you SO SO much to Sharee for making our day so incredibly special, even with all the insane stress caused by the park. Sharee is an absolute treat! My partner and I never considered ourselves "professional photos" people—we tend to feel self-conscious in front of the camera and have no idea what to do with our hands! But Sharee made the whole engagement session process feel so natural, fun, and easy. And the photos speak for themselves: they're gorgeous while still being silly, playful, and not self-serious—which feels true to us. Her communication and organization were top-notch (and this is coming from a Virgo), and we loved her location recommendations. I'm convinced she knows the exact time the sun sets in every noteworthy photo spot in Colorado! Plus, she was incredibly accommodating with our two rowdy pups, and managed to get them both looking at the camera at the same time, which frankly is nothing short of a miracle. We can't wait for her to photograph our wedding next year!

Alright ladies, step out of the wedding planning for one second, and read this review. I did a boudoir shoot with Sharee and you seriously should, too! I was on the fence about it but thought it would be a fun thing to do as a wedding gift for my fiance. It turned into a gift for myself in so many ways. Working with Sharee made me feel so confident and beautiful - something that I took with me after the shoot was over. She created art that I will cherish forever! I think every 30-something woman should do a boudoir shoot to learn to step out of all the preconceived notions and toxic thoughts that we have about ourselves and our bodies, and instead rock on as the badass goddesses that we all are. So yes, book Sharee as your wedding photographer, but also schedule a time to hang out with her before and take some amazing photos that'll make your partner's jaw hit the ground (and let's be real, yours will, too.)

So glad I snagged her early on in wedding planning! She was so helpful with planning and generous with recommendations for other venues. When power went out on our wedding day, she was prepared for everything! She had a great energy, felt so comfortable working with her on our wedding day, excellent communication/quick to respond, and felt professional from beginning to end. We hired Sharee to be our photographer for our elopement on August 5th, 2021. We had a blast working with her. She was very energetic and fun to be around and she helped to even take some of the stress of the event off our shoulders! And her photos were outstanding! We are blown away by some of the shots she captured for us. I think she gave us the most well received picture we have ever posted online! I can not recommend Sharee enough as a photographer!

Unique and quality! I am so happy we found Sharee to capture our elopement. She was incredibly easy to work with and patient. The images she captured are perfect.

Let me start this off by saying 100000/10 recommend booking Sharee as your photographer. I had a general idea of what I wanted and she helped me fill in the empty gaps. She showed me a list of locations and recommended some stylist to me as well. Sharee communicated with me weeks in advance up until the day she sent us our photos. She was open to what I wanted as a client and what moments most to me. She definitely helped calm down the crazy bride I was becoming trying to plan our elopement. She is very reasonably priced and I received a ton of photos within a month. I’m honestly still surprised. No photo looked bleh at all. You can tell she put her heart into all of them and it’s her passion. The day of my wedding I was running late and she still worked with me and my family. She was very encouraging and made me feel like a beautiful bride. Her personality definitely helps loosen you up for photos and reassures you that everything is okay. She captured everything better than I could have ever imagined. The ceremony, scenic background, and happiness were something she made impossible to forget. We always get complimented on our wedding photos when we share them and I look at them pretty much everyday. That’s how much I obsess over them. Thank you Sharee !!

I cannot say enough good things about Sharee! We LOVED working with her! She is the sweetest soul, with the most amazing personality. We absolutely loved having Sharee as our photographer. When we were first looking for an elopement package I was worried it would be difficult to get quality photos. Once I saw Sharee’s website and photo gallery I was blown away and wanted to hire her immediately. Her website made me feel like I knew her and made me feel like I would be comfortable around her. Before I even met her in person I could tell she was filled with love and kindness. Before the ceremony she kept in touch with us and made sure she really knew what we wanted. On the day of the ceremony she met our every expectation. The photos were more than I ever could have hoped for. She even texted some to us like two days after the ceremony. It wasn’t even a month after the wedding by the time she sent us the rest of the photos. Instead of the 50 we were promised she sent us 200!!!!! I feel beyond grateful that she was our photographer. I used Sharee for my mountain wedding in the dead of winter. She was so amazing, never complained once. Even though it was freezing and she had to brave a horse and carriage through the entire forest! Ventured out onto a frozen lake with us to get the best pictures. I 10000% recommended her. I also work with her for my clients weddings as well, and boudoir shoots.. she is the easier vendor to work with. Responds quickly, professional, and so helpful on the day of. Needless to say she’s pretty amazing at what she does!

I feel like I’m pretty hard to please with photos.. especially my own. Sharee made sure to capture my most important moments and get picky about what was going on around me. Where to begin.....Sharee is by far the most amazing person EVER! Prior to our big day, Sharee helped secure a bad a** spot in Estes Park with less than 3 weeks left until our big day! I could not have dreamt of a better location. Her attention to detail and easy going personality helped keep me (The Bride) calm throughout the entire day leading up to our elopement. Sharee captured so much of the love Josh and I share between each other, we were so blessed to stumble upon her page! Sharee was AMAZING! We postponed our original wedding plans twice due to Covid. After the second postponement we decided to fly across the country and elope. Sharee totally captured our vision and was so easy to work with. We had only spoken via email a few times up until the day of our elopement and when meeting her it felt like we had known her forever. She made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to get all the photos we wanted (including standing in ice cold glacier lake water)! Sharee is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable and knows how to get those beautiful shots we all want from our wedding. She is also hilarious and professional and we just can't say enough good things about our experience with her! We received 11 sneak peek photos a few days after our wedding, which was so exciting. I can’t say enough good things about Sharee Davenport. I was first interested in Sharee because of her website. Her gallery was absolutely gorgeous, but she also had all of the info I wanted easily available. It’s not common to find such transparency in pricing and what you get for it, but I had no real questions after looking at her site. And I felt like I got such a good sense of her personality from everything I read that I knew I had found our photographer and was so excited to book her. Even though we didn’t get to meet before the wedding day I felt like I already knew her because of how easily we communicated through email. I felt certain that we were in good hands right from the start. And I couldn’t have been more right!!! Our wedding was very small, only 2 guests, so it really mattered to us that we like the person who would be there with us to take the pictures. Sharee was so enjoyable to spend time with! She made the photo shoot so easy and fun. It’s obvious that she enjoys what she does, and knows what she’s doing. And then we got the pictures!! We were blown away by how perfectly she captured our day and our emotions. With pictures being the only way to share this moment with most of our loved ones, I am so grateful that we have such an authentic depiction of the love we felt. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos and everyone has commented on the quality exclaiming, “OMG, Who took your pictures!?!” Sharee is worth every penny and I highly recommend her!!

Stop looking, you found the perfect photographer... I promise! My fiance and I are the most awkward people ever. We have no idea how to take photos at a baseball game, let alone engagement photos that are supposed to look cute and romantic. Sharee made us both feel incredibly comfortable and we were MORE than happy with the entire gallery she presented us within a couple of weeks! Writing this review has proven to be very difficult because on one hand, there aren’t enough words to express my love and gratitude for Sharee, and on the other hand, I want to use allll the words. Here is my attempt to be short and sweet... I have dreamt about my wedding my entire life, like most women. Choosing a photographer for your wedding is a huge decision because after the wedding, those photos are all you are left with, aside from memories. The photos that we have from Sharee are more than I could have ever imagined. I look at them and I remember exactly how I was feeling in the moment that Sharee took them. She captured it all. I look like a princess and I felt like a princess. A big reason why I felt and looked the way I did is because I had a photographer who made my husband and I feel COMFORTABLE. For two people who don’t feel very comfortable in front of a camera, I felt like Beyoncé for those seven hours Sharee photographed us. She is so passionate about what she does and the feeling is infectious when you are around her. Sharee is everything we could have wanted in a photographer and SO MUCH MORE. We booked Sharee for our small restaurant-style wedding, and she was wonderful and professional throughout the whole process. I am so glad that we booked Sharee to do our wedding photography. The photographs were absolutely stunning, she really captured the scenery and the feeling of the day. We also booked her photo booth which was SO much fun. Beyond that, Sharee is just a fun person to be around. I was advised to pick a photographer that you personally mesh well with, as well as for their skill because the photographer is the person are actually going to talk to the most on your wedding day. I found this to be very true. Sharee made us feel comfortable and respected our time and our family's time on the wedding day. I can see she is genuinely excited for each and every couple she works with no matter what type of celebration you are having. I feel like I made a new friend in addition to having great photos!

It makes me want to cry tears of happiness when I think about how perfect my wedding day was, and Sharee had so much to do with it. She was SO much more than our photographer, I felt like we were just hanging out with her all day. And to top off what an amazing person she is, she is so talented at what she does. When we started to looking for a photographer, of course we were looking at the different kinds of pictures people take, but it is so much deeper than that. The editing a huge part of photography as well, and Sharee absolutely kills it in every way. She put together our whole day of timeline, made sure we had enough time to fit everything I wanted in from no look first look to a sparkler exit. I was already thinking about when we could renew our vows so we could use her again. I cannot say enough good things about her.

I can't recommend Sharee highly enough. The June 2017 engagement session and September 2017 wedding photos she did for us were AMAZING for a handful of reasons. She's an excellent photographer, which is something everyone wants for their wedding photos. She was very responsive, creative, kind, and helpful as we were planning for our wedding; she checked all those boxes of things you'd look for and expect from a professional wedding photographer, especially one with as many five-star reviews as Sharee has. And as you can see from her portfolio, she uses some gorgeous locations for shoots (Sharee chose the top of Trail Ridge Road at RMNP for our engagement session). But what makes her truly outstanding is her personality and how she interacts with her clients. Photos were important to me from the beginning of wedding planning, but I was nervous about feeling awkward (and our photos therefore looking unnatural and forced) when we first set up our engagement session last summer. There was no need for that. Sharee made us feel so comfortable, gave very helpful directions (like, she is specifically smart about how she tells you to pose and what she tells you to do for candid shots), and she made the whole experience not just easy but also really fun. That all obviously helped make our engagement photos better than I could have imagined, but perhaps more importantly, knowing that we would have such an awesome person whom we genuinely enjoyed being around doing our wedding photography made everything so much less stressful. Even just her presence added to how much we loved our wedding day. So I was thrilled but not surprised when we looked through our wedding photos (which, I will note, she sent to us earlier than she'd originally said). If we had hired anyone else, not only would we not remember our wedding in the same way when we look back at our pictures, but I can't imagine we could've found another photographer who would have contributed to the actual experience of our wedding day being so perfect the way that she did.

Sharee was absolutely amazing. She made the whole process of weed in planning less stressful. I had no clue what I was doing with any of it and she was able to offer suggestions not just about what would look best for the photographs but about various parts of the wedding. When I was shopping for a wedding photographer, I felt that I would be embarrassed to have such a high quality wedding photographer at my wild honky-tonk wedding. I shared these feelings on a wedding-related facebook site and Sharee reached out to me. Even though Sharee couldn't be there to photograph my wedding, she sent an AMAZING associate photographer Erin, edited the pictures beautifully and was one of the best, most easygoing vendors I worked with throughout the wedding planning. The pictures are INCREDIBLE and captured the event perfectly. I can't imagine hiring anyone else for this job.

We were lucky enough to have Sharee shoot our engagement photos. She was fantastic making us feel at ease all while giving us direction on where and how to pose (we needed it!) highly highly recommend. I don't even know where to begin... I love Sharee so much that I feel like we are friends!!! Not only is she an AMAZING photographer, but she's just a great person overall. We hired Sharee to capture our wedding in Vail, CO. My husband and I live in Minnesota, so we spoke to Sharee via phone and email quite often and she was excellent. Sharee was with us for 8 hours on our wedding day and she captured over 1,000 photos, all of which I'm obsessed with! Not only that, but we had our wedding photos less than 2 weeks after our wedding, which I was very impressed with. Our wedding was in Vail and my husband and I decided to do a first look and take bridal party photos before the wedding. We really wanted to ride up the gondola and take photos at the top of the mountain, and Sharee knew exactly where to go to get the best shots with the wonderful mountain views. Not only is Sharee a great photographer, but she's extremely gracious. She started out taking photos of the groomsmen and dads getting ready with their tuxes on. I heard just a few days after the wedding that my father (the father of the bride) was very rude and confrontational to her during this time using the f word for no apparent reason. My dad certainly has a temper when he has to wait around, so hearing that he acted this way didn't surprise me at all. It had no part to do with Sharee and everything to do with the timeline that I specifically set up for Sharee. All of the groomsmen told me that Sharee dealt with my dad with such class and didn't seem to let it bother her. The best part about it is she took photos of myself and the bridesmaids and moms right after this incident and she didn't mention one word about it! Instead she was so kind and made me really excited for the day. I think it's so great Sharee chose to not let it affect her and decided to keep the attention on what mattered. I wish I lived in CO so I could hire her for more events!

Not only is Sharee one of the sweetest people I've met throughout my wedding planning journey, but she is such a professional. My husband and I were the lucky winners of a free photo booth drawing Sharee hosted, and she was literally the hit of our reception. Not only were the quality of the photos superb, but she had a wonderful variety of props, toys, and a beautiful backdrop. She was super sweet to all of my guests and she added an element to our reception that we will never forget. Her generosity in hosting this booth for us created memories (and hilarious photos!) that we will cherish forever. If you are considering hiring her, DO NOT HESITATE. Sharee was more than just a photographer. On our wedding day she had suggestions and ideas when we needed songs and last minute things. She was more than flexible when our plans sort of changed last minute. She is so talented in making the right poses and finding the right scenery or background. Any environment is a great opportunity for her, that's what makes her so great! She also makes the experience fun. We just got our photos from our wedding day and I could not be more happy with them! She got the happy moments with family we missed because the day was so busy. She captured all the magic from our wedding! I would recommend her to anyone!

Sharee did our engagement/family pictures AND our wedding and they were all perfect! I love all of the photos and moments that she captured of us and our son. :) She had answers to all of my billions of questions in the days before our session and never once seemed imposed upon. She had suggestions as far as what to bring for our session, like our football jerseys.. which we never would have thought about on our own! Sharee is downright one of the most talented photographers I've ever come across. I last-minute booked her as a second photographer for my wedding and I am one grateful woman for doing that! She helped make pictures go SO smoothly despite the fact we were running a little behind, she took on every effort to catch the most amazing shots of our first look on a mountain top and of our ceremony, and she truly paid attention to every single detail of our wedding day, from my prayers to the decor! Sharee was incredible! First off and most importantly, the pictures turned out fantastic. We had a mountaintop wedding, and she captured everything we could have hoped for. But back to that in a bit. Leading up to the wedding, she was very easy to work with and was a complete professional. Her attitude was amazing, seems to absolutely love her job, and was almost more excited for the wedding than I was. The day of the wedding, Sharee and her assistant were on time, and ran through the crazy amount of family permutation photos so efficiently that we had time to spare. At the wedding and reception, Sharee was a complete pro, and I hardly knew she was there, yet she was available to take any picture requests, and took some of the best pictures I've ever seen at a wedding. The photos were stunning, and she took a good balance of family, friends, couple, action shots. They were all great, and the hardest thing for us was to select our favorites because they were all so good. After the wedding, she was able to get us back the photos in a matter of days. I could go on forever with compliments, but I'll just end it with (and I don't say this often) - I have zero complaints. Just amazing!

Sharee is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Sharee first did our engagement pictures and we quickly realized how much we loved her! She made us laugh the entire time and helped us (mostly me) loosen up and have a great time with our pictures! She was just such a fun person! When we got our pictures back we were blown away by how amazing the pictures turned out!! That's when we decided we wanted Sharee to be our wedding photographer. We quickly booked her a year out to make sure we would get her again! She constantly would check in and see how things were going and tell me how excited she was for our wedding! And then last minute, I decided I wanted to surprise my husband with boudoir pictures when I saw Sharee did those as well. We used this cute little boudoir studio that was perfectly set up for the occasion! Sharee brought fun music to dance to and we had a BLAST!! My best friend even got to come and we all three had so much fun!! Sharee helped me loosen up and guided me through every pose! I never thought I would take pictures like that and I'm so happy I did! And then the wedding finally came.. oh my gosh. I am constantly being told how incredible our pictures are. Sharee did an AMAZING job capturing every special moment of our night. I consider her a close friend now more than a photographer. She is such an amazing person and is incredible at her job! Her prices were so affordable and reasonable especially for the quality of the photos!! You will not regret having Sharee be apart of your day!

Sharee was the best thing could have happened for us and our wedding! We had a smaller wedding, and not very many vendors as we did it mostly on our own, but I wanted dream photographs to last a lifetime and, boy, did Sharee deliver! We absolutely LOVE our gallery of images! Everyone who visits our home loves the canvas prints that we have hanging and comments on the artistry and professional quality. For me, the photographer was the most important decision I made when planning my wedding. The wedding only lasts one day, but you have the pictures forever—and Sharee’s were absolutely amazing. I could not be happier with the work she did. There’s so many beautiful shots, I don’t even know what to choose for my album. Everyone who sees them is blown away. She really did an outstanding job. I won't elaborate more on the pictures because all you have to do is look at her portfolio online to see just how talented Sharee is. I would like to speak more to how she is as a vendor: Sharee was responsive, detail-oriented, and amazingly enthusiastic about her job. She makes you feel special and excited for your wedding, even when you’re feeling bogged down by the amount of work involved. Something I also wish I had known before my wedding: you will spend more time with your photographer than almost anyone else that day besides your spouse. I didn’t know how much I lucked out until my wedding day. So many things were going completely wrong, but Sharee showed up at our insanely early start time with a smile on her face, genuinely excited to be part of the wedding. She kept smiles on all of our faces, and I was so happy to have her there. She’s so positive about everything, and she makes you feel wonderful about yourself. I honestly cannot recommend Sharee enough. She was so incredible to work with, and she gave me beautiful photographs that I can look at forever.

I could write a book on how wonderful of a wedding photographer Sharee is! She is so professional and easy to work with if you're from out of state. She was prompt, relaxed, and fun to work with on my wedding day. And holy cow, is she good at what she does! She made sure we did photo poses I requested, but also had plenty of ideas to keep things flowing.
