Sharlene Heights Weddings and Events is a secluded mountain-view lodge and events venue nestled within the breathtaking Pikes National Forest. Situated on a 160-acre inholding within the forest, this fully off-grid luxury property offers stunning views of Pikes Peak. It is surrounded by abundant wildlife, including moose, elk, deer, bobcats, mountain lions, and bears—all visible from the comfort of this scenic retreat.
This exceptional venue offers the perfect setting for couples to celebrate their dream wedding amidst Colorado’s stunning landscapes. Sharlene Heights provides accommodations for up to 20 guests across eight beautifully appointed rooms, delivering a complete destination experience with a variety of upscale amenities. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped gym, infrared sauna, movie theater, and a bar area with a pool table. A spacious 10+ person hot tub is currently available, and we are excited to announce that an outdoor sauna with a changing room and cold plunge will be added soon.
Our dedicated event staff at Sharlene Heights is passionate about making your special day unforgettable. They handle setup and cleanup, allowing you to focus on enjoying your celebration. An on-site coordinator assists with every detail leading up to the big day and provides day-of coordination for a smooth, stress-free event.
Couples can exchange vows in one of several breathtaking outdoor locations with a capacity for up to 250 guests or choose an intimate indoor ceremony for up to 50 guests. The venue also features a scenic back patio ideal for receptions, offering a picturesque backdrop for your celebration.

This place is everything we could have imagined and more! From the moment we arrived on the property, the beautiful home and breathtaking vistas were like steppin...
g into a fairy tale! There are endless options for a ceremony space and unique picturesque photo locations. The multi-level patios, water feature, and firepit made for a cozy atmosphere for the reception. The tables, chairs, and tablecloths provided were in mint condition. Catering was easy to set up and a bar was available to use. The indoor/outdoor sound system was great and noise was not a concern. If you are looking for a private space in the mountains, this is it with 150 acres of land in the midst of Pike’s National Forest.
In addition to being a wonderful venue for the actual ceremony, it’s a fantastic place to stay for the entire wedding party! The space sleeps up to 20 people and is stunning with the massive two-story stone fireplace, great room, gourmet kitchen, sound system, movie room, pool table, massage chair, sauna, fully equipped gym, and hot tub. It’s not only beautiful, but also like staying in a 5-star resort. The property offers hiking, paddle boarding, fishing, even camping…you name it. The owners are available if you have any questions or need anything at all. They were very responsive before, during, and after the event by email, text and phone. They are experienced and helpful in wedding/reception ideas and genuinely kind, caring people. They even purchased additional outdoor heaters before our arrival. (Our wedding was the first week of October and the Aspens were at their peak). The property is easily accessible and approximately 45 minutes from the Colorado Springs airport.
The only thing to note is the high altitude! Some of our guests fared better than others - but as long as people are drinking water, using saline nasal spray and pacing themselves, it’s fine!
Seriously, this is one of the most gorgeous places on earth, it was incredibly hard to leave. 🙁
