We hired Sharon as the photographer for our wedding and reception, and oh my goodness - the photos all came out GORGEOUS! Sharon has a style that borrows from photo-journalism and an amazing eye for capturing candid, touching moments. Aside from being a complete pleasure to work with, Sharon produced a set of images that beat the socks off our friend's wedding photos, and we felt her rate was very affordable given the quality of what we received. If you need a photographer in the New Orleans area, Sharon is your girl.

Sharon was absolutely phenomenal and we were thrilled we chose her to capture our wedding day! She has so much energy and passion for what she does and it really comes through in the stunning final images. Sharon was a pleasure to work with and very flexible and responsive. I was an out of town bride with a very demanding day job, so I was tremendously thankful that all the details were handled over the phone and via email. I also did not use a wedding planner and Sharon was a huge help to me in figuring out the logistics of the day. On the day of the wedding, I swear, Sharon was in 3 places at once! She captured just the right look and feel of our wedding and didn't miss a single key moment. She was also super patient and helped keep me sane with all the chaotic running around and last minute craziness. Can't recommend her enough!

I truly do not even know where to begin with how incredible Sharon is; as a human & as a photographer. My husband & I planned a surprise elopement in New Orleans. We had two friends coming on vacation with us but they didn't know we were getting married until we arrived at the chapel. Sharon was thrilled with the idea and I immediately knew she would be a great fit. From our first email exchanges through the updates while our photos were being edited...to receiving our images...communication was seamless. She made myself, my husband, and our friends feel so relaxed and at ease. Her photography style is all about capturing real moments while they're unfolding...which is absolutely magical. We only booked Sharon for 2 hours but the amount of photos and the quality of the content we received is outstanding. Sharon was the one part of the day I never worried about and I think that's really important. Sharon was recommended to us by our wedding planners and we are so happy they did! Throughout the entire process Sharon was a rock star to work with. She was constantly checking in to see how planning was going and wanted all the details as soon as we finalized dress, flowers decor etc. Sharon is not just a photographer that comes and takes pictures she is invested in her clients and wants to be sure she makes the experience personal. We hired Sharon to do our engagement, welcome party and wedding photos. I was a little apprehensive about engagement photos but I would highly recommend to any bride. Learning some of the key steps to getting great pictures while also getting to spend time with Sharon before the wedding is priceless. She was even down for my idea to end the photo session at Ms Maes! During the welcome party and wedding Sharon was everywhere, capturing all our special moments with us barely noticing she was even there! The quality of pictures we received exceeded our expectations. We got so many amazing shots its been a challenge to finalize which ones we are framing. In addition the turn around was fast. It gave us enough time to send out our thank you cards right in time for the holidays. To say we loved working with Sharon is an understatement. Her professionalism and eye for detail will get you the most amazing photos PLUS she is just such a lovely person you will want her to be there to photograph all the next big life events :)

I am so lucky that I chose Sharon Pye to capture our wedding day. Not only was she professional and inquisitive during the planning process, she was super down to earth and easy to work with. We planned a New Orleans wedding from up in New Jersey, so we had some trepidation during the process, but the first time I spoke with her on the phone, I was immediately at ease. I met her on the wedding day and I felt like I had known her for years. She popped around like a faerie throughout the day and weaved in and out of moments snapping away at her camera. Her talent is top-notch! Our wedding photos are breathtaking yet simple, nothing cliched or too posed and they capture beautiful and special moments, some funny, some quite touching. Her use of natural light is a thing of beauty and her connection to the human emotion comes through in her photographs. Highly recommend !

We loved using Sharon! She was extremely personable and went above and beyond for the entire time leading up to the wedding + day of the wedding. Her passion for photography is unreal and her photographs show this. I highly highly recommend using her if you are looking for a very involved photographer. She was the absolute best! Oh! And my wedding photos were done a few weeks after my wedding. I can't say enough good things about her!

Choosing Sharon was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! She was very sweet and available before our destination wedding in New Orleans. During the wedding she managed to be everywhere, even my guests commented on how hard she worked. And best of all, she took wonderful pictures of moments throughout our day. She really focuses on natural "in the moment" shots, and did an amazing job!

I cannot rave enough about Sharon! Our destination wedding in New Orleans was a breeze to plan especially thanks to Sharon. She was very helpful and walked me through everything I should know about our pictures and she was always available by phone or email when we had questions! Sharron did photography for my destination wedding back in December. I have absolutely nothing but fabulous things to say about her. She was beyond helpful in giving us advice for locations and went out of her way with everything. When she showed up at Lafayette cemetery (where we did our main shoot) she was 9 months pregnant and gave her all in caputuring our perfect day. My family and I couldn't believe her energy. Her photos were beyond exquisite. And she was so much fun to work with. I can't say enough positive things about my entire experience with her.

We love Sharon!!! She met with us many time prior to the wedding. She was easy to get in touch with and answered all questions from both sides of the family. Sharon developed a thorough time line based off all two lists of photos she received from the families. Sharon was able to give her unique touch to the photos and not be intrusive or compromising to the ceremony or reception.
