Alyssa is an incredible wedding planner. My husband & I had a Nigerian wedding ceremony + a Western wedding ceremony in the same weekend. This was a lot to manage logistically with...
two different vendors, different sets of vendors, etc. She was so on top of everything, told us what we needed to do throughout the process, and was so available to chat with us at any time. Would absolutely recommend Alyssa to any couple!
I was the mother of the bride and the short answer is that Sharpe Event Planning is AMAZING!. Now for the long answer. We hired a wedding planner because I have health issues & kne...
w that I could not help my daughter plan her wedding but whether it’s because of health issues or avoiding stress or wanting to enjoy the wedding & all that goes with it or a thousand other reasons, Alyssa is soooo worth it. My daughter found her on the Knot. Alyssa suggested the venue we took, the florist, the dj, the photographer, hair stylist, makeup artist, the invitations, the hotel for the out-of-town guests, the breakfast we hosted the day after the wedding for all our out-of-town guests, so all of this leg work was done for us. We had a lot of people with food issues, whether due to allergies, celiac, vegan diets, etc., she was on top of all of it. She negotiated the pricing. She was there from start to finish during the planning process and during the wedding day. Leading up to the wedding we did it all through phone calls, text messages, emails so no one had to travel & we could accommodate all of our very different schedules. She was even prepared to handle in-law issues. She did everything the day of the wedding, made sure we had food during the hair and makeup process, she managed the entire wedding, people at the wedding even commented about how seamless everything was timed and moved along from the cocktail hour to the ceremony to the reception. Alyssa even noticed (we did not) the wedding cake did not have the filling my daughter ordered & got a full refund on the cake, it was delicious even though it was not what bride wanted. It’s 6 weeks after the wedding & people are still talking about it. My family believes it was the best family wedding ever & it will go down in family history and considering we are a party hardy group that is a huge compliment. When Alyssa said that we should just relax and enjoy the wedding and accept the waves of love that is exactly what we did and some of the best advice I have ever received and taken. I truly believe that no matter what I write in this review it could never convey what she actually did for us and this event, so many things went into this that I am aware of and so many that I am not aware of. I always wanted my daughter to have a magnificent wedding and she did. This would never & could never have been the amazing wedding it was without Alyssa and that is fact! Thank you, Alyssa.
Alyssa Sharpe is an incredible professional: knowledgeable, hard working, and always “can do.” Alyssa helped me with all of the details in the lead up to the wedding as well as the...
various “day of” event coordination. No problem is too large for her to solve. To say that she was a lifesaver is an understatement! Alyssa is the consummate expert: organized, detail oriented, efficient, and an absolutely lovely human. I would recommend Alyssa 150%!
Very professional, organized and detail oriented! Don’t know what I would do without her. Made my wedding day seamless! Highly recommend :)

ntire planning process and it truly felt like I was just planning with one of my friends. She is so friendly and I could tell quickly she was going to work endlessly to make my wedding the best it could be! I didn’t get to meet Alyssa until the day of my wedding, but it honestly felt like I was just running into a friend. She made my wedding day go so smoothly and if there were any issues I would have had no idea as she handled everything and anything throughout the day. I truly can call Alyssa a friend now. She loves what she does and you can tell in the way she will manage your special day ❤️

es caused an issue on our wedding day, and we can’t thank her enough. On top of being a lovely person in general, she was a DREAM to work with from start to finish — she has such an eye for detail, and she kept me calm from the beginning of the day until the very last hour. I had total faith in her, and yet she STILL blew me away. She’s amazing!

ade everyone including the bride so calm and comfortable. She went way beyond her duties even reaching out to me directly before the wedding and helping me with all my questions and needs (it was my first time officiating). I’ve never seen a wedding come together so perfectly and that was in large part thanks to Alyssa’s meticulous planning and organization!! HIGHLY recommend!

r options whenever I needed them. I had no idea how much I would need her on my actual wedding day. She had every base covered. The second I even looked like I needed something she was by my side ready to assist. As the bride, I was pulled in 500 different directions and it was such a relief and am so thankful to have had her there looking out for me on my day. I highly, highly recommend Sharpe Event Planning! It will be the best thing you do for your wedding!
My brother and sister both got married this past year and each used Alyssa as their wedding planner. Despite having to plan for two weddings within one month of each other, Alyssa...
gave her full attention to both of them and was there every step of the way. Her attentiveness and knowledge of all aspects of planning are second to none. Alyssa took her time getting to know each couple and listening to precisely what it was they were looking for. She knew exactly which vendors could fulfill those needs and never made you feel pressured into making a decision. As we met with each vendor, you could tell they all have great respect for Alyssa and enjoy working with her. She customized both weddings to deliver upon each couple’s specific requests and executed every aspect to perfection. Alyssa was overly responsive from start to finish and provided the enjoyable, stress-free planning experience every engaged couple hopes for. She is a kind and caring person with a strong work ethic. I highly recommend Sharpe Event Planning for your wedding!

rough all of our vendor contracts and made edits to ensure they were in our best interests. Also, she knows the best vendors, was readily available to answer all of our questions, and was a calming presence throughout the entire planning process. Cannot thank her enough for all of her work! Hire her - you will not regret it!!

detail Alyssa Sharpe of Sharpe Event Planning provided. Alyssa is not only professional, organized, responsive, and punctual, but she is sincere, genuine and absolutely loves what she does. Alyssa’s attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to deliver upon each and every request (no matter how big or small) truly made for a stress free and enjoyable wedding planning experience. Alyssa listened to every idea I had and was able to execute them in a personalized and elegant way. I would strongly recommend Sharpe Event Planning for any affair, not just a wedding!

use at Chelsea Piers in NYC. We started planning our wedding approximately 10 months prior to the date and Alyssa was with us every step of the way. From finding the wedding venue, to the DJ to the food, she was always there. Hiring Alyssa to help with our wedding planning was 1 million percent worth it, and I was never in the least bit stressed throughout the process.
Alyssa got to know us well prior to the wedding planning process. Then, she would always give us a few top-notch options for vendors, and as she knew us so well, one of them was always a home run. We never had to second guess our choices and had a lot of negotiation lee-way with the vendors because of Alyssa. Once the major vendors were out of the way, it came down to the details and Alyssa did not miss a beat. She was ahead of the curve, made a detailed timeline, slowly checked all items off the list (including the little details such as monogrammed cocktail napkins) and finished the planning approx. 3 weeks to a month prior to our big day.
Although Alyssa was also running a business she made us feel like we were her only client. From answering emails at 1am on Saturday, to texting us to see how we were doing, to accompanying us to any appointment we wanted, she always put our needs and feelings above all else.
Throughout the whole process, Alyssa also became a friend. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone as she made me feel like the most special, calm bride in the world. My husband and our families would say the same.

e door on our wedding night, ensuring that us, our parents and guests had everything they needed at all times. She was so attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process; the wedding wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was without her. Without a doubt, I would recommend working with her for your upcoming wedding. She will surely get the job done and help you achieve your dream wedding.

lan my daughter's wedding in a timely manner. Alyssa is so knowledgeable about vendors. She recommended fantastic individuals/companies for flowers, music, makeup artists, calligraphers, gifts, hair stylists, dresses, etc. Alyssa even accompanied us when we wanted her to and helped us negotiate vendor contracts. With certain decisions (due to my daughter living in a different state) and the trust we had for Alyssa, her expertise and judgment made certain decisions along the way easier for us! We felt her attentiveness to every detail, experience in event planning and calm, but upbeat personality, was unlike anyone else we could have possibly used to help us.
On the day of my daughter’s wedding, Alyssa was wonderful, executing all that needed to be done, overseeing an absolutely flawless event. Thank you, Alyssa, for creating the most memorable wedding for my daughter. You are SPECTACULAR!!!! We will always be grateful to you. I will be sure to recommend Sharpe Event Planning to anyone planning a special event.

The day of the wedding she blew us AND all of out guests away! I dont regret anything and everyone that attended said it was the best wedding they had ever gone to. No detail was spared. There were some things we didn't think of that she did and had already taken care of.
Alyssa we want to say: thank you, thank you, thank you!!

new. I can honestly say everything was perfect. Alyssa was AMAZING--answering my emails long after she should be done for the day, taking care of any details that my 330 person affair required, and literally managing every detail so I didn't have to stress. I am not someone who has a lot of free time outside of work to plan all the nitty gritty details for the Wedding so her event planning company was an absolute MUST for me. I just gave her a suggestion and a direction of what I was looking for and she made it happen like a mind reader. Honestly this experience was one my husband and I treasure and we could never have had a better one if we didn't have it with you guys. Thank you!
Love, Fran and Joe L.

ted and thorough, and because of this, she helped me make my dream wedding a reality. She also knows many vendors in the industry and is able to put you in touch with the ones who fit your needs--no wasting time on people who don't understand your vision! Throughout the process, I bombarded Alyssa with way too many questions, but she never got impatient and could answer anything--often throwing in little tips with her answers!
Alyssa was also a huge help on the day of the wedding. Just like with all weddings, a few small issues came up, and she handled them without me even knowing. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy my wedding day instead of stressing out about small things.
Long story short: I love Sharpe Event Planning and don't know how I would have thrown such a great wedding without them! I would recommend them to anyone (and have already started)!

fect! She was right! Alyssa was the most attentive planner I had ever met.. she listened to our ideas and came to know our likes and dislikes which made it so easy to work with her. my wedding dreams turn into a reality. She was extremely organized, thorough and paid attention to every detail. With her long experience in the business, Alyssa was able to help me get in contact with the best vendors, give me advice on everything from menu items to first dance songs and helped me decide on things that I was unsure, like scheduling the entire night and making sure everything would flow smoothly. Besides getting everything ready for my special day, she was with me on the wedding day, which really made the difference! She was able to oversee the florist, make sure all the vendors were there doing their job and got the ballroom ready just as we had planned. If it was not for Alyssa, I am certain that my wedding would not be the same. She took care of everything from the large choices to the small details that really differentiates a good wedding from a remarkable and memorable one! I highly recommend her to anyone who might think they need a wedding planner or a planner for any special event. You won’t go wrong!
