I can't say enough about Shayla and Co - our wedding was phenomenal. They perfectly captured our style and mood, and helped us put together a kickass party. Shayla also acted as the linchpin for all of the vendors, allowing us to relax and eagerly anticipate the event. The first thing which impressed me about Shayla was that she counseled us to determine our budget ahead of time, and then work with them -- there was ZERO pressure to upsell, or include things we didn't want, or gloss over any costs. The estimate was itemized, we discussed things together until we agreed on each line item, and then the final price was the final price. I got the sense that Shayla enjoys finding the sweet spot for every client's dream and making it come in below budget. We will be using Sharpe Pursuits again! Thank you so much!!

I had pre-wedding day event planning as well as the DJ-Audio package from Sharpe Pursuits. I cannot say how much they have helped me in my journey to have a perfect day. First of all I met Desmond at a Bridal show then after I met Shayla, we clicked instantly. She not only helped me find my dress but my cake person and my photographer. Without Shayla I would have been in a dress that I did not love. She turned my dress fitting day from the worst day ever to the best day ever. Not only did I get all of my bridesmaids dresses as well as my dress and both my grandmother and mothers dresses from the same lady that Shayla led me to. So if you are in need of a planner I would really stress you not only start early but book Sharpe Pursuits.She attended all important times with me and even booked them. Such as my dress fitting my engagements session, my bridal session, my cake tastings, etc. The reception was a blast thanks to Desmond. Not only do they give you a list of songs you want to hear but they also let you pick the genre as well as special songs for your day. I was busy with moving so I did not have time to put together every song that I wanted to hear so I stuck with a general statement and he followed it perfectly. I keep hearing from my guests how he kept the party going and how organized it was by him introducing everyone before we came in ( and getting everyone's name right). Not only did he introduce everything he made sure I was comfortable with the song if he took a request. Lastly I could not have had my wedding day go without any problems without the help of Sharpe Pursuits!

Shayla was my life savor!! She was very easy to work with and I just enjoyed working with her and her husband!! I have now gained a new friend for life!! Thanks so much Shayla!!
