We were in love with our engagement photos and were really excited for our wedding day. But that excitement was nearly not enough, because Sharyn absolutely blew us away with the stunning wedding previews. Within the week after the wedding, Sharyn shared the previews with us, and it drew us back to our special day. ndid. Her photos had amazing detail and I knew I had to work with her. Our phone call was a breeze and the initial meeting was efficient yet relaxing. We first met during our engagement shoot. She is so easy to talk to and very organized. We never felt anxious and she made us feel comfortable and calm. She has an artistic eye so if you follow her lead and vision, you will be pleased. Her turnaround time is also super quick and we got to enjoy our photos within a week, UNREAL. The day of the wedding was also fantastic. She got stuck in traffic but even with that, we were ahead of schedule and I got to enjoy my entire cocktail hour. Rachel, her second shooter, was also reliable and a big help whenever I needed anything (like bugs in my dress, ahh) and Sharyn even fixed my ribbon on my shoe, what an angel. We had so much fun with them and they were easygoing with our chaotic family. Our family and bridal party also enjoyed the experience. I'm sad we are done taking wedding photos, so I highly recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful photos!!

Every photo looks REAL but I've also never felt more beautiful than in the moments she saw and the way she captured them. She was encouraging of our quirkier and more unusual ideas and requests which we really appreciated! She offered helpful suggestions but was game for whatever we wanted. Then on the day of it started raining right when the ceremony was supposed to start. We had to change our plans when guests were already there. Flowers were set up. Positioning decided. And she went with the flow no problem, helped everyone stay calm and still got beautiful photos even in our quickly assembled indoor setup. The biggest test is how good you are when you have to throw the plans away and just react in the moment and she nailed it. Her eye is incredible! I have a few family members who were very nervous about the portraits and hate having their photos taken and they commented after that they actually had fun and loved Sharyn! Organized, thorough, a joy to be around. Knows when to step in and guide/move things forward and when to step back and let it be your moment and let the day play out organically. You spend a lot of time with the photographer on the wedding day so having someone as wonderful to be around as she is is sooo important! Besides artistic vision (which she has!!) excellent judgement is the best thing you could hope for because it's guaranteed something unexpected will happen. And she has it!! I wouldn't have more confidence in anyone else to be there to deal with whatever happens and guide you through the joyful stress that is a wedding day. Anyone would be lucky to have her!!

And what I love most when I look back at our album is how dreamy, casual, and romantic the moments she captured were without looking posed or staged. All the laughs, tears, and even the smallest details were captured BEAUTIFULLY and we cannot stop staring at our wedding album :) We'll also add that not everything went perfectly on our wedding day (TL;DR: Outdoor Wedding + Rain), but Sharyn and Becca managed to roll with the punches and kept our spirits up through it all! edding three times because of COVID, and all times Sharyn was there to let us know everything would end up being okay and that she is right by our side. Our wedding day ended up being on the day of the biggest snowstorm of the year- but that didn't stop her from coming the night before to make sure she was there on time and ready for our day. Her second shooter on our wedding day was also amazing, shoveling her car out of the snow and showing up smiling and ready to go. We wanted to have our pictures 30 minutes away from the hotel we were getting ready in to catch an amazing view of the NYC skyline- and even with all the snow and road conditions, Sharyn was psyched to go make our vision a reality. It was probably -10 degree wind chills by the water and we all froze our butts off, but she was there to capture it and did so beautifully. You would never know that it was so cold when you look at her pictures, because she was all about capturing the moment. If you're thinking about which photographer to hire, you will not go wrong with Sharyn and her team. I am now lucky to call her my friend, and I am so grateful that we found her during our wedding search.
