To say Sharyn did an incredible job would be a huge understatement. She was absolutely amazing to work with all the way through the wedding process. Right from our first meeting with her, we felt completely at ease and knew she was going to be the perfect photographer for us. She even met us several weeks before the wedding to walk around our venue and pick out our favorite spots for photos. Sharyn is amazing. We did both our engagement shoot and wedding at Holly Hedge estate with Sharyn. Sharyn immediately put us at ease during our engagement session, and later on, wedding day. She truly knows where the best lighting is and how to tie in all the details. She made sure that we got all the photos that we wanted taken throughout the night and kept checking in with us. Her attention to detail is incredible and the different poses she put us in made us look amazing. Throughout wedding planning, selecting a photographer was one of the most important details. Sharyn and Katie were so easy to work with! Leading up to the day I was nervous about the timeline and everything coming together, and Sharyn helped me plan the timing from getting ready at the salon, to getting to the church, to the reception, and cocktail hour. It was a long day and we ended up paying a little extra to fit in an extra hour of photography to make sure we included all of our important events. My husband and I are not natural in front of the camera, but Sharyn and Katie barely had to prompt us and really took advantage of the candid moments that we had together. It felt so easy and we felt so comfortable! We have only received our preview photos at this point but are so impressed and looking forward to seeing the rest in a couple months

Sharyn was absolutely phenomenal to work with. The preplanning with Sharyn really helped guide us and made everything stress free. Her and her 2nd shooter Rachel were so wonderful throughout the entire event, they were there for all the good shots and it never felt intrusive or overwhelming. Sharyn is the BEST wedding photographer. We truly can not say enough great things about her and her team! First off-- her photos are GORGEOUS. The colors are vibrant and the happiness and emotion of the day really shines through. Every single one pops. She captured both candid moments and beautiful natural-looking portraits and every detail of the day that we wanted memorialized. Every photo looks REAL but I've also never felt more beautiful than in the moments she saw and the way she captured them. Her results speak for themselves but she was also a joy to work with along the way. She made the planning process easy and fun and took time to get to know us and our style/requests. She was encouraging of our quirkier and more unusual ideas and requests which we really appreciated! She offered helpful suggestions but was game for whatever we wanted. Then on the day of it started raining right when the ceremony was supposed to start. We had to change our plans when guests were already there. Flowers were set up. Positioning decided. And she went with the flow no problem, helped everyone stay calm and still got beautiful photos even in our quickly assembled indoor setup. The biggest test is how good you are when you have to throw the plans away and just react in the moment and she nailed it. Her eye is incredible! I have a few family members who were very nervous about the portraits and hate having their photos taken and they commented after that they actually had fun and loved Sharyn! Organized, thorough, a joy to be around. Knows when to step in and guide/move things forward and when to step back and let it be your moment and let the day play out organically. You spend a lot of time with the photographer on the wedding day so having someone as wonderful to be around as she is is sooo important! Besides artistic vision (which she has!!) excellent judgement is the best thing you could hope for because it's guaranteed something unexpected will happen. And she has it!! I wouldn't have more confidence in anyone else to be there to deal with whatever happens and guide you through the joyful stress that is a wedding day. Anyone would be lucky to have her!!

Sharyn and Rachel shot our wedding on 8/25/23. I am not sure where to begin! Sharyn and Rachel - what a duo! Sharyn is such a sweet person. She was calm, collected and professional. There was a hiccup when we first got to the venue and Sharyn took matters into her own hands and resolved it quickly! I think this speaks volume on what kind of a person she is. Sharyn and Rachel really ensured the entire process was stress free and fun!!! I cannot recommend them enough. I didn’t hire a videographer and was starting to regret it but the ladies both caught every single emotion and moments of the wedding and I am SO thankful I booked Sharyn. The entire process of reaching out, booking, the engagement session, planning and executing it on the wedding day was effortlessly smooth. It was a pleasure working with her and I cannot describe them as anything less than amazing. They really made my wedding day perfect.

Sharyn was awesome! She and Rachel arrived on time to the hotels and back to the venue to shoot the groomsman, bridesmaids, and our first look. Even with a timeline issue (nothing to do with her!), she stayed calm, professional, and kind, and made sure we took all the pictures that we wanted and did so without taking too much time away from cocktail hour which was something that was important to us. She is so sweet, knowledgeable, and personable, and her pictures and edits are absolutely beautiful. Her choices for poses and places to take pictures were all spot on. I would 100% book her if I could do it all over again.

Professional and the photos turned out amazing!!

Sharyn was amazing! Once we picked the venue and the date, she was the very first vendor we hired and the rest of our vendor team was built around her and her recommendations (and the vendor team was fabulous). During the planning, she took the time to take all my calls and texts to answer any questions I had regarding pictures that day. She had also done our venue before so I trusted her instincts with what locations were the best for pictures but she also kept in mind scenery that we wanted. Sharyn also worked really well with our other vendors so everything flowed seamlessly! She got us sneak peaks almost immediately and they look so beautiful and were exactly what I wanted. The colors and lighting of each picture looks amazing I can't stop looking at them. I can't wait for the full gallery to come out!

Sharyn and John were absolutely awesome to work with. Sharyn fit right in with my family amidst the chaos of getting ready in the morning, and my now husband said the same about John as the guys got ready. To be more specific, I didn't feel stressed that Sharyn was there and things were a tad chaotic. She brought such warmth and a calm energy to the day. Asking Sharyn to be our photographer was by far the best decision we made! We talked about all the things I was looking for (natural, relaxed, and organic) photos which she was absolutely down for! Before our wedding day she guided me in finding the best spots on our venues property to take photos, as well as my family photo list! I kept it short and sweet so we could enjoy the party! Her talent is incredible, and in my words MAGIC! She is a beautiful human, and her vibe (as well as John’s) made my day even better! I cried (and I don’t usually cry) when we received our photos back, the countless hours she must have put into finding these perfect, beautiful shots; I am beyond grateful! Words cannot express how amazing Sharyn and Becca are <3 They are such a talented duo, and both a complete joy to work with! My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera and didn't have the benefit of doing an engagement shoot to "practice". But Sharyn was amazing and agreed to meet us before our wedding, just to get to know each other better so we could feel more comfortable. How sweet is that :) She and Becca managed to take away any nervousness we may have felt in order to capture precious, candid moments. And what I love most when I look back at our album is how dreamy, casual, and romantic the moments she captured were without looking posed or staged. All the laughs, tears, and even the smallest details were captured BEAUTIFULLY and we cannot stop staring at our wedding album :) We'll also add that not everything went perfectly on our wedding day (TL;DR: Outdoor Wedding + Rain), but Sharyn and Becca managed to roll with the punches and kept our spirits up through it all! On top of being an astounding photographer, Sharyn is the consummate professional. She's so organized, friendly and attentive. We sing her + Becca's praises and definitely will recommend them wherever we can!

Sharyn has been great to us since we hired her on day one. We didn't know her at the time, but she made us feel comfortable and quickly became a friend. We had to rescheduled our wedding three times because of COVID, and all times Sharyn was there to let us know everything would end up being okay and that she is right by our side. Our wedding day ended up being on the day of the biggest snowstorm of the year- but that didn't stop her from coming the night before to make sure she was there on time and ready for our day. Her second shooter on our wedding day was also amazing, shoveling her car out of the snow and showing up smiling and ready to go. We wanted to have our pictures 30 minutes away from the hotel we were getting ready in to catch an amazing view of the NYC skyline- and even with all the snow and road conditions, Sharyn was psyched to go make our vision a reality. It was probably -10 degree wind chills by the water and we all froze our butts off, but she was there to capture it and did so beautifully. You would never know that it was so cold when you look at her pictures, because she was all about capturing the moment. If you're thinking about which photographer to hire, you will not go wrong with Sharyn and her team. I am now lucky to call her my friend, and I am so grateful that we found her during our wedding search.

Sharyn and her assistant Anna made me and my husband feel so comfortable, special, and cherished on our wedding day. Neither of us likes getting our photos taken, and Sharyn made sure to make the experience fun and low stress. She even made sure to get photos of our cat!! I can’t recommend Sharyn enough. The photos she took of me and Brendan bring me so much joy. I’m so glad we chose her as our photographer.

I do not know where to begin with Sharyn - her work absolutely blew us away. We hosted a micro-wedding in our backyard for our immediate families. We hired Sharyn based on a recommendation from our event planner and after seeing her portfolio, she is definitely talented! In the current state of the world, we didn't actually meet Sharyn until the day of our wedding but when she walked in, I immediately felt comfortable and knew my memories were in good hands! What a beautiful person, with such a great energy! She was wonderful to work with and she had such a quick turn around for our teaser portfolio. I love the photos!! My husband & I feel so incredibly fortunate to have had Sharyn photograph our wedding! Like many 2020 couples, our original wedding plans were derailed by Covid-19, and Sharyn was willing to work with us as we worked through the changing circumstances. We loved working with Sharyn. Given that our wedding was a 2020 backyard wedding she was so flexible and willing to work with our makeshift day. The final photos turned out so well and Sharyn was able to find the best areas in our backyard that would come through in our photos. Highly recommend!

Booking Sharyn and Drew was one one of the first and best decisions that we made for our wedding. As a couple with two brides, it was important to us that a photographer have experience shooting a same sex wedding and have LGBT+ representation on their website, social media, etc. - it was so refreshing that Sharyn had all of that and a mock day of template specifically for bride/bride rather than having to cross out groom over and over. Sharyn and Drew were fantastic to work with! Our wedding was extremely hot and a little chaotic with family but Sharyn and Drew were amazing the entire day. We were given a detailed schedule of pictures in advance so I knew exactly where I needed to be and when along with the rest of my immediate family.
