Sharyn, and she surpassed all of our expectations. Not only does her work speak for itself — but she is an amazing person to work with. I was in awe at her ability to not only capture everything that happened, but how she was able to truly reflect who we are, our style, and the essence of our event through photography. It's as if the pictures come to life. She inserted an ethereal and romantic touch that nobody else could have captured. On the day of the wedding I felt completely at ease knowing she and her assistant, Alissa, would capture the day and they did. They captured the entire day without being obvious about it. As if Sharyn’s photos aren’t enough, her and Alissa are an absolute joy to work with. Honestly I miss them now that the wedding is over! Sharyn is very professional and doesn't miss a single detail in the planning process. She ensures you get all of the shots you want ahead of time and is very accommodating. I have a large family, so taking wedding pictures was daunting, but Sharyn was able to make it stress free and seamless. She is friendly, easy to get along with, makes you feel comfortable yet she is authoritative which was exactly what we needed to make sure everyone remained happy. Most of all, her passion made it very fun to shoot with her! You won't find anyone with her experience and artistry. At the end of the day, all of the other great things about her aside, it's the actual pictures that matter and you will not be disappointed with Sharyn’s work!

s of a special day. But you never know until the day... We got married outdoors. In Maine. In February. With 24 hours to go they began predicting the worst blizzard of the year (36 inches with 60mph winds). At the last minute we moved the entire wedding forward a day. In the chaos, I only had time to leave a rather incoherent message about the change. To be honest, I half expect her not to make it. I would have understood. But the morning of the wedding, we got a text: "on my way if you still need me." She showed up and immediate got what we were going for. She was easy going and unobtrusive, but more than we ever expected, she still somehow managed to always be in the right place at the right time. She captured those beautiful fleeting moments we felt, but without the photos would never have been able to remember. We can't recommend her highly enough.

She brings out the chemistry that brought you and your fiance together in the first place and documents it in such a natural, real way. She is very much an artist in her craft, and while being laid-back and casual is simultaneously professional and focused. I have always admired Sharyn's work: Her wedding photos always had a subtle edge and individuality that you don't always see in Event Photography. She is a master at light, and also at catching those moments that are fleeting. All you have to do is look at her website to understand what I mean...If you can get her (she's in high demand) you will not have a worry in the world, and will have brilliant, personal memories for your future together.
