Hands down the best DJ. Our guests loved him and they never left the dance floor very professional and was always updating us before the wedding. He didn’t just play music he made an experience for our daughter’s special day. Our guests kept coming up and asking who we picked. Would recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a DJ. His pricing was spot on.

Our positive experience with Doug started with his responsiveness to emails early on. The week of the wedding we had a call with him to go over the details and it helped to ease a ton of my concerns. We had some specific versions of songs requested and Doug was so accommodating! On the day of the wedding, Doug went above and beyond the duties of a DJ. He communicated with the catering team about releasing tables for dinner and ensuring they were on the same page as well as communicating with the baker about when to come in and where to set up. Doug was the all in one DJ and wedding coordinator! He played a huge role in making our wedding run perfectly. When it came to the dance floor - everyone was raving about how good he was. Doug was an absolute delight to work with. We had a small wedding at our home on the 4th of July. We wanted to create a simple relaxed backyard BBQ vibe instead of the formal wedding atmosphere. We asked for a variety of styles and genres of music from 90’s grunge to early Motown, country and the great crooners of the 50’s. Doug seamlessly blended all these styles together and created the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Doug is very professional and super accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about him or how pleased we were with the service he provided for us. I would recommend him to anyone for any type of gathering or event because I have no doubt we would be superb.

From the moment we first spoke with Doug Nacker at Shattered Sound DJ Entertainment, we knew we were in great hands. He was super responsive and offered a lot of services for the price. Doug was easy to talk to, professional yet casual, which made the whole planning process feel low-pressure. Before the wedding, Doug was incredibly organized with the wedding planner he provided but flexible enough to let us share our playlists and music vibes through Spotify instead of typing them all out. He connected directly with a friend who was playing saxophone during our grand entrance and made sure everything went smoothly. He reassured us not to stress about the music - we gave him a few ideas and he took care of the rest, which was one big thing off our to-do list. On the big day, Doug absolutely nailed the ceremony cues - our recessional song started at the exact moment of our first kiss - PERFECTION. He kept the dance floor packed all night, transitioning songs seamlessly like a true club DJ. While we didn’t have many announcements, he handled each one with ease, helping the photographer wrangle guests for a group photo, cueing the bouquet toss, announcing late-night pizza, and letting everyone know when the shuttle buses arrived. The music was exactly what we envisioned, Doug read the crowd beautifully, honored all our requests, and was even a great sport when the crowd demanded “one more song” after the last song. He also complimented us on our music taste, which felt like a huge win! For couples who don’t want to curate pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, or dinner music, Doug has a huge library ready to go, though he was happy to work with the specific songs we requested. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the music, and the full dance floor all night spoke for itself, people were literally running to catch the last bus because they didn’t want to leave! Doug created a perfect party atmosphere while keeping everything stress-free. We hardly had to check in with him at all during the day (aside from one quick timeline adjustment during dinner), because he had everything under control. Doug was an amazing DJ. Any requests we had, he ensured they happened. He also worked with our other vendors to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. The dance floor was constantly bumpin & if it wasn’t he ensured to change the tunes to ensure it was! Also highly recommend the “dancing on a cloud effect” for your first dance - we truly felt magical! We also recommend the additional added features, including up lighting and the added screens. Had him as our dj and he was amazing. He was very flexible and really stressed how much he wanted our day to be stress free as it could be. We gave him a playlist to get the vibe we wanted and he made that vibe happen and had people dancing all night. He also did our ceremony and made the music transitions for that seamless. Doug was absolutely PERFECT! He did our ceremony and reception—and everything could not have turned out better. He provides a very detailed and informative guide when “organizing” the music, is great to communicate with, and even came to rehearsal to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. Doug is an outstanding DJ! I have been to multiple events where he is providing the entertainment & the dance floor was packed the entire night for each event. So when it came to booking our DJ - we planned our wedding date around when he was available. He is great with communicating ahead of time how things will work so that your big day is stress free for you & making sure all of your requests get fulfilled. His set up is amazing with all of his lighting and video screens - with the package we chose! We also chose to use his ‘dancing on the cloud’ special effects for our first dance and the pictures turned out so beautiful! A special touch to our day that was unique to other weddings. Doug had our guests on the dance floor ranging from ages 1-85. He knows what songs get the guests to the floor & KEEP them out dancing. He made our night so much fun and we have had so many guests ask us for his name for their future events. Doug did and an absolutely outstanding job. He is very easy to work with and in our experience took an incredible amount of stress away from our day. We had no issues with mics or any parts with sound. If you are having recordings done he's more than happy to work with those vendors, to insure less stress and an easier day for you. Made sure all song request/dances are in, checks how you want the grand march, annouments, speeches, or prayers on how you'd want them and in what order. His set up and transition from ceremony to reception was seemless, allowing you to spend time with family, do pictures or anything else you'd want to do while celebrating. I can go on and on but I don't think we could've found a better DJ for our evening!

Doug was beyond amazing to work with! He called us the week before to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect and what we wanted. On the day of he had amazing communication and kept checking in with us to make sure everything was going how we wanted. He did both the ceremony and reception for us and they went absolutely flawless. We had our wedding in a barn and I was nervous about it being too loud and echoing and he made it sound so amazing!

Doug was very communicative during the entire thing. He made sure that he was certain about all the events, the timing, and the music. We were going to do the dancing on the cloud, but he was unable to find a place in time the morning of that had it in stock, so he communicated that right away and refunded us that right at the wedding. He got the vibes of the music down perfectly. We had some non traditional music requests and vibes, and it was totally nailed. Honestly, 10/10 couldn’t recommend anyone better. Plus it was an extremely good price.
