After our final phone call before the wedding day, I felt more than confident that everything would work out great - and Shaun definitely executed! Me and my wedding guests hardly left the dance floor. I was pretty particular about not wanting "basic wedding music" and Shaun made sure to keep our party going all evening. I'd definitely recommend him (and NTE services) to anyone looking for a fun DJ that can read the room well.

l wishes for the wedding. He was so friendly and quickly built our trust. We were able to load lots of favorite songs into a portal he could see to select from. He was exceptional at transitioning songs, reading the room, creating a fun vibe. So professional and kind. We highly recommend Shaun!!

l his equipment. He was the best sport about the whole setup. Shaun was very thorough about scheduling and music. He was very helpful with the ceremony and setup a mic and speaker outside for us. We had our reception inside (because of the heat) which was a much smaller space to work with. And Shaun did an amazing job setting up the speakers and booth which were decorated so you wouldn’t even know their were speakers there. The lighting was a perfect addition to our reception and choreographed 1st dance. I am so happy to have had Shaun Lois as a Wedding DJ for our wedding and would highly recommend him. Shaun kept everyone on the dance floor old and young. We gave him free range and it was amazing. Been to a few weddings in the last couple years and our dance floor was the fullest. The more effort and variety of music you recommend for him the better he will perform. He played a wide range of music and adapted to the scene. He went over the time scheduled as people didn’t want to stop dancing! I’m forever grateful we found him just in time to make our night amazing! If you have any hesitations booking with him, I assure you, you won’t be disappointed! My only regret is that we didn’t start out with him! Thank you again Shaun!

perfect for us. He was very well priced and was willing to listen and work with us to make our dream come true. We had a pretty challenging wedding for a DJ, all being outdoor on my family's property - an all day event with three different main locations. He came up with a great plan for the equipment and logistics of the day. He was even willing to try things he'd never done before, like play our vinyl record collection during the 3 hour social hours. People could look through our collection and place a request and he'd play them all. It was so fun to look back at the book and see what people requested!! We are so appreciative of the logistics that he thought through tho make our vision a reality. We gave him a list of songs hundreds of songs for the dancing and the ones he narrowed it down to were absolutely perfect and the timing of when he played them what was spot on. He even added in a few that were not on the list but totally added to the night! We heard rave reviews the entire night of how awesome the music was! Everyone was dancing the entire time - I've never seen a dance floor like that!! It was such a blast and will go down as a dancing experience I will never forget and a lot of guests have told me the same thing! He even surprised us with an incredible entrance to the tent - he had all of the guests take their napkin and wave them in the air, all standing up screaming as we entered - it was so magical and unexpected! He really made our night what it was and we couldn't be more happy with how it all turned out! Shaun really deserves a 5 star but I do have to comment on the one star off. This is for communication during the year. There was one stretch of time where we just couldn't get a hold of him and I was at the point where I thought he maybe no longer wanted to be our DJ. This was three months before the wedding. It was very stressful but we eventually connected and talked through it - he had a good reason and was extremely sorry. At times even after that and closer to the wedding it would take him more than a few days to get back to me via email. This was something I found out was true for a lot of vendors in the industry, so its more a warning for future brides to just relax and trust in the amazing Shaun, if he is taking a while to get back to you. I should have given him my full trust, and wish I had seen a comment like this when I felt stressed about the situation. I hope this message can help someone out there who has hired Abbey Road but might be stressing out about communication. He's a busy guy....and for a good reason! Just be patient and trust him. Everything went smoothly and our guests were so happy with the selection of music and Shaun's "style". His British accent charmed everyone and they didn't stop dancing. He was very thorough as he asked about music preferences, type of event, budget, etc. He was very helpful in giving me some ideas and making sure that I knew of all of the many options for lighting, etc., that they had available. I was pretty blown away by the amount of time he spent with me. He went through a schedule of events and put together an agenda to make sure that nothing was missed. I can tell you that the time spent with preparation, etc., really paid off. My reception was so much fun and the music and lighting made the reception even that much more fun and beautiful! Shaun never missed a beat and our guests all told me how much fun they had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shaun and Abbey Road for any type of event.
