er many conversations with Shauna, who was always SO responsive and so genuinely kind, I knew this was the team I wanted to move forward with. I was lucky enough to be paired with their associate photographers Marina and Nicole – most of my conversations before the big day were with Shauna and Marina, and both were always very quick to help with my questions. You can tell how passionate they all are about what they do – beyond just photographing us, they guided us with poses (which I would’ve been so lost without), prepped us with timelines and grouping lists, and just all-in-all kept our day on-track. When we’d request for certain shots that we hadn’t planned for, they never hesitated to say, “let’s make it happen!” Oh, and let’s not forget the fact that they let us swap our “engagement shoot” that came with our package for Marina coming to photograph our rehearsal dinner. I’m so excited we’ll have photos from that night too, to hold on to. Our sneak peeks already took our breaths away and we can’t wait to see the rest of our gallery soon. She was a photographer plus a wedding coordinator plus a friend. I can't thank you enough for the time spent and for all your help. They also were SO organized from the beginning with a timeline and mapping out each photo. They are the reason our day was so perfect. I feel like they have become apart of our family and I will continue to use them for every milestone in our lives. that my now-husband was conspiring with Shauna and Jordon to set up a secret proposal photo shoot. We have the most amazing photos from our engagement that I’ll cherish forever, all thanks to Shauna and Jordon. Fast forward to 2020. My husband and I are expecting our first baby to arrive in the middle of a global pandemic! Not exactly what we had planed, but we are so grateful for our health, jobs, safety, family, and the precious little babe on the way. I’ve tried to stay very positive, but one thing that did bum me out was the fact that I never got the chance to take professional maternity photos before the COVID-19 outbreak. Anyone that knows me well knows that I have a slight obsession with documenting almost everything in picture form…so, the fact that I was not going to have a beautiful heirloom album of photos to document my first pregnancy was pretty crushing. My husband was amazing and insisted that we order a tripod on Amazon and take our own pictures. So, we did. I posted some outtakes from our DIY maternity shoot on Instagram… and that’s when Shauna reached out. She messaged me offering genuine sympathy for our situation, and offered to professionally edit the photos we took! I was blown away by her generosity. She managed to take our dark/shaky tripod pictures and turn them into the light and airy photos I so hoped for all along. Shauna and Jordon truly go above and beyond for their couples. Once you become a part of the Cooney Couple family, that is how you will always be treated- like family. I am so grateful for this most thoughtful act of kindness. It’s a true testament to their mission of loving and serving their clients.

knew that they would be a complete blessing to us. We literally walked out of the coffee shop that we met them in & said "Yep, they are the ones". They kept everyone on track & on time while capturing my favorite moments from my big day. All of the groomsmen loved working with Jordon during their pictures & Shauna was always there to give me a smile & remind me to breath. You spend the majority of your wedding day with your wedding photographers so the fact that these two just felt like part of our wedding party made the day go by so smoothly. I can now relive my wedding forever! Photos were so easy and felt incredibly comfortable with them guiding the way (plus they handled rowdy groomsmen like champs)! When you think your paying for a photographer, trust me that Shauna and Jordon are so much more than that! They will put out fires, offer their expert planning advice, tie the groomsmen bow ties, drive you around in your big dress to different photo spots, carry a sweat towel, and so much more. Most importantly, they put your marriage as priority and truly get to know you as a couple. They are not vendors, they are friends. I promise you when you are budgeting, they are worth the price!

ing photographers there was absolutely no comparison to the quality and beauty of their photos. I knew after a few seconds of perusing their website that we had to have them for our special day. I was speechless at the attention to detail, use of natural light, and personality they could capture in their photos. They are truly gifted and one of a kind at what they do! Once we hired the Cooney’s for our big day we knew we wanted to do something special for our engagement photos as well. We ultimately decided to hop a plane to Italy and have the gorgeous Amalfi Coast Line as our backdrop. We literally had no idea what we were doing or how to go about finding the most picturesque locations for our photos but we didn’t need to, Shauna and Jordon handled everything! They have an eye for detail and put us both at ease throughout the process. Not only are Shauna and Jordon incredibly gifted but they are some of the most down to Earth individuals I have ever met! They will make you feel like you have known them for a lifetime which made us so comfortable being in front of a camera. They’re a blast to work with and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them guide us through this journey.

She had a timeline that we stuck to (which you know that is almost impossible for weddings) Yet Shauana & Jordon got it done! They also had this amazing weather app that was on point. Our wedding was outdoors and in September; peak hurricane season. Shauna was able to sooth my nerves, reassured me that everything would turn out fine. When I initially came across S & J’s Instagram, I really liked how full of personality they were and how much I could relate to their love of charcuterie and The Office! So, I of course started following them. Fast forward a month or so, we attended our friends’ wedding as guests and there they were! Shauna and Jordon capturing their day. We watched them work and I saw first hand how they always put their couples first. And it was then that I knew I wanted to reach out to them. The entire experience with S & J was easy, smooth and overall fantastic. Every step of the way, they were prepared and I felt taken care of; they were always on top of things. Our engagement session was amazing! We brought our cat and S & J did such a great job getting him to look at the camera (we all know how cats are 😂) and we really just enjoyed our time with them. Our photos turned out beautiful and I have them hung all over our home. Their turnaround time was quick, which I appreciated! Leading up to the wedding, I never once doubted that they’d make our photos look incredible. The day of, they were professional, caring and as expected took beautiful photos that really captured the day. My family loved S & J and how attentive they were as well! After our wedding, we went to our preview party at their home to see some more photos and I think this was my favorite part of the whole process! Not only did we get the see more amazing photos and relive our wedding - but we got to hang out and talk with them, it really felt like we were good friends catching up and I just loved that! I loved getting to know more about them and even looking through their wedding album! I still haven’t come up with the right words to thank S & J for being our photographers and capturing the best photos. They are well worth whatever their price point is at this time. Because you don’t think about it too much, but when the day is over all you have left are photos to look back on and relive the whole day. You’ll never regret making an investment into your memories. Thank you Shauna and Jordon for everything. Thank you for being the best investment we made for our wedding. You guys are genuinely amazing people and you deserve all the praise!

and realized we wanted to work with them! We reached out and instantly felt a connection. We did however start to feel guilty about changing our photographer so initially decided not to make the switch. After a little bit of time passed we realized we just needed to do what was best for us so I reach out to Shauna again to say YES we do want you as our photographer! Unfortunately they had booked our date LITERALLY the day before!! Needless to say we were heart broken. One day however Shauna and Jordon were doing one of their Cooney classrooms for other photographers and were looking for real couple models. We volunteered not really expecting to be picked since we weren’t technically one of their previous clients. They picked us though and we got such amazing photos!! It was such a unique and special opportunity. These photos are going to be cherished forever and we are now officially a Cooney Couple :) We will have no doubts when it comes to anniversary or maternity photos! My advice to you is to have no doubts with Shauna and Jordon. Do not second guess yourself! If your date is available, BOOK IT!!
