about a month now, but things have been hectic! I wanted to make sure I had the time and clear mind to give Shauna the review she deserves. I have one word to describe her, AMAZING. From the moment we met and had our first meeting at Starbucks to feel her out and ask some questions, I could tell she genuinely loved what she does. One look at her portfolio can show you that your dealing with someone who knows what they are doing! Seeing all those pictures really made me wonder like what are all these people models? Lol never in a million years did I picture me and my wife being able to look like a million dollars like all the couples in her portfolio!! Guess what, we did! We are not the most camera friendly couple, and my wife can be a bit shy, but Shauna has such good energy and such a wonderful vibe that you become relaxed in front of her lense! I myself happen to be the biggest sweater when nervous, but she became such a good ear and friend during the whole wedding process, I didn’t feel any nervousness! We had an engagement session that was perfect, we took Shauna’s recommendation for a location that was fantastic! Throughout the summer and going into the fall Shauna would stay in touch with us regarding timelines, details, etc and that made me and my wife feel so much more organized. I’m a very detail oriented person, and planning a wedding has probably been one of the most trying times of my life when it came to staying on top of details! Shauna helped so much, even being in contact with my DJ to help my wedding day flow smoothly! The day of our wedding flew by so fast, when the night was over I could hardly remember taking pictures. Besides our bridal party shoot we don’t even remember being in front of the camera. I wondered did we really get the shots we wanted? You know someone is good when you don’t even notice they are there taking your photos! I knew that Shauna wouldn’t disappoint! The day we got our preview we were on our honeymoon shopping at a jewelry store. I will never forget it for the rest of my life. It was about a 80 photo preview, and we had to stop everything we were doing with our jewelry purchase to look at the photos. We were both in awe! About a month later we got our full album. Almost 1000 photos, all to die for. She captured every special moment from beginning to end. Captured things I don’t even remember. Captured moments you couldn’t duplicate. Captured love. She captured me and my wife on the dance floor and I didn’t even feel her taking the pictures. I will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives, my great grandchildren will look at these photos one day. That’s why it was so important for me to find the right photographer! Your not just capturing your day to look at on Facebook for a few weeks. You want photos that are going to be framed and passed on for generations! Shauna will get those shots! My father once told me, “Anything good ain’t cheap, and anything cheap ain’t good.” Me and my wife are sure glad we invested the money into our wedding photographer, you reading this review should too! Shauna is very organized also which really helped with my day of planning. You can always reach out to her if you have timeline questions. She made sure we kept on time and kept moving on with our day without rushing us. For this, I am so thankful. Your wedding day is more stressful then one would think and to have someone there that knows what moments you want to happen really helps. If your bridal party is getting too crazy, she'll keep them in line. Her "Momness" really shows through in the best ways. Aside from her ability to keep organized and keep things moving, her amazing personality (she becomes one of your best pals throughout the day!), her photography skills are out of this world! All of her second shooters are awesome as well (I've actually had the opportunity to work with her as I shoot wedding videos, so I've met a few of the people she'll work with). When we got out wedding photos back, I felt like they were straight from a wedding magazine. I cried. They were so beautiful and honestly, I don't even remember some of them being taken!
