My husband and I loved working with Shaw Photography, and several people came up to us pre-, during, and post-wedding to say how much they enjoyed our photographers, too. It's not that they were busy chatting it up with people, they weren't, they were just that friendly and clearly that happy to be doing what they love. Brian and Christina were very easy to talk to throughout the whole planning process. We did engagement and wedding photos with them, and both times they showed up on time. For our wedding, they even came early to scope out the venue to see where it made sense to take certain pictures based on scenery and lighting. On the day of, taking all of the portraits with them was fun and easy, and everyone felt comfortable in front of them. They also took care to help me actually look good — for example, they told me to tilt my chin up a bit more at certain times, so that I didn't have as much of a double chin — and they did it without making me feel self-conscious. They were also wonderful at working in conjunction with our day-of coordinator. Finally, we are SO happy with the pictures, and so are our families. We're so thankful that we'll have these great pictures to remind us of our wedding day, and that the people who took them were such a lovely part of the day, too.

As a bride planning my own wedding, I really appreciated the timeliness and thoroughness of the pre-wedding day communication. They are also both very personable, and a lot of fun to be around. Brian photographed our wedding, and both my husband and I really enjoyed working with him. We were both really nervous about having portraits done, and it didn't feel unnatural at all! Even our family members have brought up his work ethic on numerous occasions since the wedding. He caught every moment, popping up at just the right time. Receiving the digital photos and prints was very easy. We highly recommend them for your wedding, as well as other significant moments in life!

Of all the decisions we made in wedding planning, choosing to work with Christina and Brian was THE BEST decision of them all! Every single photo was perfect-some of my favorites being ones we didn't know they were taking. Almost a year after our wedding, I love reliving the day all over again just by opening our album. As much as we love the photos, we feel the same about the experience of working with the Shaw's. We were so nervous before our engagement session and they made us instantly feel comfortable. Very professional, organized and so easy to work with! Highly recommend!

Christina and Brian are wonderful, kind, loving, insanely talented people! Their work is aesthetically ethereal and full of storytelling. Christina treated myself and my (now) husband as close friends and yet remained professional throughout our engagement photo session and wedding day. The end results were beautiful! I'm constantly stunned at how great our photos turned out - no matter how many times I've looked at them (and I promise you, it's a lot). Christina & Brian are a dream to work with and I would definitely recommend these two to anyone who is looking to capture a special occasion in their life!

Brian & Christina are wonderful people who treated our wedding as if it was theirs. The pictures we have are just amazing and it has been so hard to pick just a few to put in our wedding album. They traveled to our wedding, and I will be hiring them to do family photos whenever they are in the area - they are that good!! I can't put into words how happy I am with our photos! I have had compliments on our photos from not only our guests, but anyone who has seen them. They are great people to work with - and had the only contract I did not have to re-write!! If you want beautiful photos - HIRE Brian & Christina!!
