You get much more than a videographer with Shawn, you can tell he is passionate about what he does and he really knows what he's doing from all of his different equipment to providing helpful suggestions on the actual edited film. From the time Shawn showed up while I was getting ready until the time he left late at night, he was nothing but friendly, kind, considerate and a total professional the entire time. He made everyone feel so comfortable, it's almost like you don't even know he's there. I was so overwhelmed with wedding planning by the time I picked my photographer and videographer and with so many choices it can be difficult to make a decision. I hope this review helps other couples decide because I can honestly say from start to end, Shawn and his work was an A+. The video was so vibrant, the audio was crystal clear...I can't say enough positive things but truthfully Shawn was able to give us the best gift of all time and that is an amazing recreation of the most important day so far in our lives. During the ceremony and reception everything went as expected. He even stayed an extra hour! All of his work was done in a timely manner and he would constantly send me updates during the process. His footage is in focus, and I love how he highlighted the sunset, which was unreal that night. He also had video of our guests which meant a lot to see them all having a good time. He coordinates with your photographer so that there is some overlap between video and still pictures and he works well with them because both are important to capturing your wedding. In planning a wedding, you focus on every detail to make your day special as can be. What you should add to your attention to details is the videographer to capture those precious moments; without one it is only in your memories of the day and still pictures of the moments. I planned that perfect wedding that everyone is still talking about today. However, being the bride and the groom, on your wedding day you are so busy that you really aren't enjoying the moments that you spent so much time planning. This is where the right selection of a videographer is very important! Shawn, our videographer, captured all the moments spectacularly. You must think about where you want to spend the money when planning your wedding and this is where I feel that budget allocation, if you are on one, should include Shawn as your videographer. We had a first look before the wedding and it was important that all the shots were captured. He arrived plenty early the day of and worked with our photographer to determine the best places to film. His equipment was high quality and my friends were impressed by his professionalism and ability to create scenes with our large wedding group. He recommended many shots and also had the ability to film during our natural moments. He set up quickly at our first look, ceremony, and reception. He stayed at least an hour later than what we had agreed on and stayed in contact through the editing process. The quality of the movie he provided will be something cherished by my family for the rest of our lives. He captured all the right moments. Thank you Shawn for all the hard work.
