Out of everything we spent money on for our wedding, hiring Shawn was honestly one of the best investments we made. The music completely transformed the atmosphere, and so many of our guests commented afterward about how beautiful and emotional the ceremony was.
Shawn made us feel like our wedding was just as important to him as it was to us... not just another date on his calendar or another gig. He took the time to answer our questions, helped us choose music, and made the entire process feel effortless.
On the wedding day, everything was flawless. He was professional, arrived early, coordinated seamlessly with everyone, and played absolutely beautifully. Every song sounded even better than we had imagined.

We had some non-traditional requests — including an EDM song I love and a piece from the movie Interstellar — and Shawn didn’t just learn them, he created custom violin renditions that were absolutely breathtaking. His talent is truly unmatched.
Not only is Shawn incredibly gifted, but he is also one of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. He played during our cocktail hour — both solo and in coordination with our DJ — and even performed live during our first dance, making the moment unbelievably special. Every step of the way, he went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect, and it showed.

He played the exact songs we requested at the right times. He even learned a new song for us (and killed it)!! Shawn was also so easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding he provided us with a questionnaire and we met a couple times on Zoom. On the calls he would play a few ideas for us so we could give some direction on what we liked. s super responsive to any questions, willing to meet via zoom however much I needed to so I felt comfortable (although it was only a couple times for me, I appreciate the reassurance that I could always reach out with questions). I chose the song that I would walk down the aisle to but let Shawn pretty much choose everything else and it was PERFECT. It took a lot of stress off my plate with taking away those decisions.
We booked Shawn for the ceremony and for cocktail hour. His music was a wonderful addition to both. He even went above and beyond for us. My Father-in-Law plays guitar and wrote a song for our wedding. Once he met Shawn, he wanted to play his song with Shawn. Shawn was an awesome way to make the song a little more special. Even during dinner, our DJ wanted Shawn to play over his mix of songs, and he happily did! I also think that for everything Shawn offered, his performance was such a great value!
If you are looking for live music for any part of your wedding, (I can't stress this enough) BOOK SHAWN!

Zoom, to the wedding day itself, Shawn was professional and very easy to work with. His packages are straight forward and inclusive - he doesn't try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. He handled both the music as well as the audio equipment (speakers and mics), as neither our venue and band offered these as options for the ceremony. He also arrived early to make sure everything was set up and working properly and even played a few songs for my husband and I during our first looks - it was like our own private concert! Overall, we would recommend Shawn a million times over!
