We were really looking forward to getting some drone shots, but unfortunately it rained that day, which was unsafe for the drone. However, the team let us know towards the end of the night that they decided to risk it, and got a few outdoor shots for us. We cannot wait to see the final result! wedding day, so I was very particular on whom I wanted to capture our day. I met Shawn at The Knot wedding show in PA. He had some of his previous weddings playing on a screen. As soon as I saw his videos and the quality that they were, I knew I wanted him to capture our wedding! The first thing that caught my eye in his videos was drone footage. The drone captured amazing aerial views of the estate where we were married. Shawn had filmed at our wedding venue before so he was already familiar with the property, which was a bonus! Shawn was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to emails regarding questions and sorting out details. He worked with us on creating a more custom package for our day to include everything that we wanted, which we very much appreciated.
On our wedding day Shawn and his team were very professional. They worked so well with our other vendors including our photographers and DJ. They were calm, nice, focused and never got flustered. After our wedding, a family friend was very observant and complimented how well our videographers and photographers worked seamlessly together. The day went so smooth.
When we received our initial video it was missing a few highlights that I wanted to be in it. I reached out to Shawn and he was very responsive and ready to edit our video. Shawn took the time to meet with me and go over our video and tweak it to include certain elements to make it exactly how we wanted, which meant so much to us. He truly has a passion for what he does and he extremely talented.
When we received our final video, I was blown away. The quality of the video is very cinematic. Everyone who I have showed our wedding video to has given us so many compliments! Including some of my favorites: “This is the best wedding video I have ever seen!” and “Your video literally looks like a Hollywood movie.” Shawn Fisher Productions incorporated our wedding song, speeches/toasts, ceremony and vows into our video; it flowed perfectly. This is a true example of how creative and talented Shawn fisher productions really is. special day for a lifetime. I had watched another wedding video done by Shawn at our venue and immediately knew he was who we needed. I was astounded when he told me his package prices because his videos were so good and they were the best prices I found anywhere! Well let me just say that his video was worth every penny and then some. Shawn called me 2 weeks before the wedding to talk about what was important to us and really get to know us as a couple. He incorporated all the things that we wanted in our video and did an incredible job putting it together! He had it all back to us within a month!! I can’t wait to watch it every year on our anniversary and relive those special moments. The emotion and heart behind our day was tangible through the video and I’m so grateful for that. We have received so many compliments on our highlight film and I can’t give enough credit to Shawn and his team. ing rain, ice, a last minute location change - basically he just went with the flow of the entire day and captured shots that we didn't even know he was taking. My now husband doesn't even remember Shawn being in the room while he was getting ready. The finished product is high-def, smooth, and edited to tell our story so romantically and joyfully that I still get teary eyed watching the highlight reel for the 100th time.
I know there were 1 or 2 questionable reviews for Shawn's work posted on these websites at some point over the last few years - I was hesitant to work with Shawn after seeing these but went with him based on the many other positive reviews and the quality of his work on his website. If you're looking for a great videographer, do not hesitate to work with Shawn. He will knock it out of the ballpark for you. Not to mention, his pricing is phenomenal - his work is as high if not higher quality than videographers 3 times his price point.

He said he had so many events booked! I'm sure it was hard to handle everything when you are just starting out. So if you look at the newer reviews, they are nothing but positive. the ceremony, toasts, and entrances as well! However, after the wedding there was a significant lack of communication that was frustrating. It took 3 months longer than in our contract for us to receive our video. Communication was slow and inconsistent. If you do book this vendor, I would make sure to be clear about expected guidelines and communication.

onest guy, with a wealth of knowledge and skill in his line of work. We paid the deposit to secure our date, months in advance. Fast forward to this past October, I contacted Shawn to finalize the details of her event. No response. Several messages were sent via Facebook and email, and I was able to see that he was reading the messages, yet never responding. My daughters event was on November 14th. Shawn Fisher, or his team, never showed up. (Side note, I referred him to a friend of mine prior to the all happening for her sisters wedding. She contacted him via email the week of my daughters event and not only did he respond immediately to her, he said he was available on November 14th to shoot her sisters wedding, even though he was booked to be at our event.) I was very upset to not have any video footage of my daughters event. The changing of the shoes, her crowning, and her dance with her Father are all a memory now. If I were a bride, I would be devastated. Shawn Fisher never replied back to us until I told him we contacted a lawyer to get our deposit back. He mailed me a check a week later but never provided an explanation of why he took our deposit and didn't show up to our event. He never apologized. I would NEVER recommend Shawn Fisher Productions to a bride or groom.

cation-- was terrible if not nonexistent. He called 3 days before the wedding to confirm the wrong package and let us know he would be sending someone else to film the wedding. When asked why, we clearly booked him after seeing a friend's video, he said, "sorry."
When our wedding dvd came, we immediately sat down to watch it and we just cringed because the footage was terrible. We immediately called and then when we never heard back, sent an email outlining the following questions:
-Why did we receive only 1 dvd (the contract promised 3)?
-Why there was no footage of the groom waiting at the altar and for the first 5 minutes of the ceremony all you could see was the back of a guest?
-Why the groom was mic'd the entire time (not just the vows as mentioned in the contract)?
-Why you can't hear the toasts (they are barely audible with the volume all the way up)?
-Why the Mother/Son dance song was different than what was danced to at the wedding?
We finally received a response wishing us well and saying he would send 5 copies of dvds with the Mother/Son song corrected.
We have yet to receive the dvds (sent two emails asking, but shocker-- no response).
Do yourself a favor, book another videographer. There's enough to worry about before your wedding & if you're spending the money, you want a quality product in return. We don't even want to watch our video.
