ing. My husband and I created a rather large list of songs that he was able to transform into a cohesive playlist. He played what we wanted, but also knew how to keep the dance floor alive with some additional songs of his choosing. He gave us a lot of control over what was played, but also melded our ideas into an agenda that made sense. He was even able to take songs from Youtube and incorporate them into the set. He is kind, accommodating, and punctual. He responds quickly and follows up with you as needed. I highly recommend him!

elmed. He played everything we asked which was a big deal for us. We had several songs that had hidden meanings. Our dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still talking about what an amazing time they had a month later. Two of our friends are getting married and I'm pretty sure Shawn will be their DJ. My grandfather even danced and I don't think he has done that since our wedding. Everything was just perfect. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

t respond right away. During what can feel like a very stressful process, Shawn had a part in making things easy. We gave Shawn some songs that were important to us for him to play but we really let him feel out the crowd and play what he thought would be hits and he delivered. Our dance floor was literally packed all night long. Even his dinner playlist had our guests up and dancing. Shawn’s prices are also extremely reasonable for the great service he provides. I would recommend Shawn Gillie Entertainment over and over again!

Shawn was a tremendous professional from start to finish. He made sure to get to know us, and understand what we wanted our wedding to be. He was remarkably patient, and willing to...

work with us as we changed our minds a few times on what we were looking to do. He made sure that our event was one to remember, and everyone who attended would go on to commend the music, its sound quality, and overall vibe that Shawn was able to ensure was from the first song he played through the final one. He made sure to check in with us to know precisely what we needed, and was never intrusive with his timing or inquiries. His thoughtful inquiry led to an immediately full dance floor and our guests talking about it for weeks to come! I cannot imagine how he could have created a better environment or more fun experience. He comes with our most emphatic recommendations!

His prices are more than fair as well as he offers a number of packages and add ons to choose from whether that be a glow package, different lighting, an audio book and a Photo Booth to name a few. Shawn also has hosted the shoe game and has a fun centerpiece giveaway game you may want to talk to him about. He truly wishes that you have the time of your life and wants to know exactly how to make it happen for you. The way he is also able to read the crowd and give the people what they want without anything being said to or asked of him is amazing. I would hire Shawn again in a heartbeat for any big event I were to have!

ds. He not only played our favorite songs but also seamlessly mixed in some of his own selections that perfectly matched the vibe of our celebration. What truly set Shawn apart was his willingness to work with us to include some less conventional events, like a live performance and an air guitar contest. These unique touches brought so much fun and energy to the evening! Even when our timeline was delayed due to a venue issue, Shawn graciously stayed an extra half hour to ensure our party continued without a hitch. We also purchased the LED light dance party package, and it did not disappoint! Our guests are still raving about it, claiming it was the best dancing they’ve ever experienced at a wedding. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, adaptable, and knows how to create an unforgettable experience, look no further than Shawn. Thank you for making our wedding day so special!

l" before your big day. Shawn took away a lot of that stress with a comprehensive questionnaire he had us fill out ahead of the wedding. We also sent him a list of do not play songs and vibe suggestions, but trusted him to read the room to keep the dance floor packed all night. We also really appreciated that Shawn was there to curate an enjoyable vibe -- not to hear himself talk on the microphone all night. He played a great mix of music that was suitable for guests of all ages and backgrounds, yet still felt cohesive when played one after the next. A true professional! Our guests had a blast dancing the night away, and many of them told us how much they loved Shawn's DJing in the days following the wedding!

Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with...

Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness. Shawn handled all these obstacles very smoothly, kept an eye on the crowd and helped us stay in tune with when we needed to get the dance floor going. He played the songs we requested and helped us out with choosing songs for younger people. Since the wedding went by so quickly, I think the thing I am most grateful for is all the photos and videos he took of the night. The day was a bit of a blur and Shawn let us relive the night by sending us tons of photos and videos of everyone dancing. Thank you for that, Shawn!

ing were all held in different spaces of our venue and Shawn efficiently shepherded our guests from one area to the next while also keeping engaged. The survey he sent us before the wedding covered all the bases and even gave us ideas for things to do during our wedding we hadn’t thought of, like playing the shoe game. We decided to skip and tweak a few wedding traditions that he smoothly incorporated into our wedding timeline. And most importantly, the dance floor was packed the entire night and Shawn was able to read the room play genres that got the crowd the most engaged. He even took photos and videos of everyone on the dance floor which was much appreciated since we didn’t have a videographer for our reception.
